10/04/2025: The pizza ALWAYS presents itself very well, aesthetically refined and with excellent quality ingredients, nothing to say about this. Unfortunately, however, for the umpteenth time, it happened to me raw on the inside. It's a real shame, because the potential is there, but cooking remains a serious and recurring problem. I hoped it had been an isolated case the first time, but after some time the situation repeated itself. I really hope they can improve this aspect, because the disappointment is so great.

01/04/2025: Noisy place and tables so close that my neighbor could stretch out his arm and reach my pizza. Lower quality than expected for the 3-cook pizza. Lack of explanation of the gourmet pizza that was a sandwich not a pizza and extremely small with little filling. The taste of some ingredients was very good and the dough was good, perhaps the excessive volume of customers leads to these problems. I would have preferred there to be shifts and to have a better environment and greater care. Too bad I think I'll go back to give it a second chance!

09/03/2025: Very nice and well-equipped pizzeria, located in the municipality of Cascina, about 1 km from the Navacchio exit of the highway: it is not located on the main street of Tuscany, but in a side street in the San Lorenzo alle Corti area. The restaurant has a closed and an open outdoor area, as well as a fairly large internal room and a few other tables in the entrance room. Very nice and rustic place, with a menu based mainly on a wide choice of pizzas for all tastes, as well as original personalized dishes such as appetizers. Even the desserts at the end of the meal are delicious and refined: the staff is friendly and helpful. The only flaw is that the outdoor parking space is limited, as you have to park along the road and when there are group dinners, the space is really limited and difficult to find.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati accolti col sorriso e ci siamo sentiti a casa. Siamo tutti rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti delle pietanze ordinate e dalle porzioni abbondanti. Piatti davvero ottimi , di grande qualità e dai sapori tradizionali.

06/04/2025: Very good, I recommend it, but staying two hours or more under the beating sun is not. You have to cover the veranda. You risk sunstroke and even severe migraines (as is happening to me now)

30/03/2025: Consigliato!!! Pranzo domenicale in famiglia, in occasione di una piccola gita nel bellissimo borgo di Peccioli. Pranzo molto buono in un locale accogliente e colorato! Menù semplice, vario realizzato con materie prime di qualità! Servizio cordiale, attento e rapido. Rapporto qualità prezzo onestissimo. Bravi tutti!!

22/03/2025: Osteria Caffè House in Peccioli is a true culinary gem. The dishes are truly exquisite, with refined delicacies that delight the palate, and the tiramisu is unique, prepared with high-quality local raw materials. The owner, a truly special and always smiling person, together with his family, creates a welcoming and warm atmosphere. His daughters and wife are always ready to offer impeccable service, making every visit a pleasant experience. I also noticed that the staff speaks English, which makes the restaurant accessible to foreign visitors as well. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by enchanting hills that make every meal a special moment. It is easily accessible and suitable for any occasion, whether it is a romantic dinner, a family lunch or a birthday party. The restaurant offers both well-kept interior spaces and a pleasant outdoor terrace, where you can enjoy the delicious dishes in a clean and refined environment. Congratulations to the entire Deri family and the staff for their dedication and kindness. Rating 10 out of 10!

27/10/2024: We went to this tavern encouraged by the positive reviews. Despite being a little perplexed when we arrived, from the outside it looks more like a sports bar than a restaurant, we decided to stay and we did very well! Rustic environment, certainly not suitable for those with a stink under their nose, but welcoming. A true old-time tavern with straw chairs, wooden tables and dishes that taste like they have been lived in. Everything is characteristic, even the bottle of wine or the hangers hanging here and there. We took a Tuscan appetizer divided into two consisting of cured meats, cheeses, tripe and croutons. Some tagliatelle in cinta ragù (space!!!) and a pork stew (always divided in two) with fried polenta. Two desserts, water, wine and coffee. 60 euros total for a meal to remember. Well done girls! We will be back soon!!!

29/12/2024: Excellent pastas and savory dishes. The only real flaw is the limited outdoor parking (in the middle of an intersection in practice) and the little space to sit is to consume internally chaotic calmly at certain times. Good prices. Generally recommended.

29/10/2024: Para aquellos turistas, y en particular los estadounidenses, como yo que pueden aventurarse a abandonarse a "permitirse" ser servidos sin menú, pero simplemente aceptar a los duendes para sacar lo que tienen es una experiencia única en la vida. Esta familia ha sido carnicera por más de 125 años. Su alcance es educar a sus clientes sobre lo que la tierra produce y servirla de maneras que uno nunca ha probado antes. Es una experiencia única, no hay 2 cenas nunca serán iguales, vale la pena el precio y es la experiencia más auténtica que uno puede tener en la región.

09/02/2025: Unfortunately my expectations about this place were too high, compared to the nice words of those who recommended the plank to me. In fact it is Tavolaccia. 4 of us arrived and ordered a fried fish as a starter, 1 platter and 1 grilled Tuscan pecorino, 3 pizzas and 1 second course of fish, desserts, coffee and bitters, water, 1 soft drink, some wine and beer for a total of €114.00 discounted to €110. The only fried fish were approximately 15 pieces, many were badly cleaned and had a strong odor and bitter taste, some were overcooked and dried up, to be honest we did not finish the dish and when we complained about what had happened to the owner, he initially apologized and then mocked us with his friends sitting 2 tables away, making fun of us (If I had known this detail in time I would have left the restaurant immediately, because it is not ethical and correct to mock a customer who pays to eat a product that has not been prepared correctly, there is no humility and respect, unfortunately it was reported to me after leaving the restaurant), furthermore the dish was present on the bill, fairness dictates that if a dish is reported for a reason, if not eliminated from the bill, at least a significant adjustment to the total must be made, but not having seen the receipt I was unable to contest. Now, I want to clarify a couple of points and take a step back. When ordering more than one dish even if they are present on the menu, in reality they are not there, like the cacciucco which the owner's words were: "I forgot to remove it from the menu", okay one is satisfied, we asked for the trio of pecorino cheeses and it was not available and I want to point out that the same requests had been made months earlier and we had the same response but beyond the menu and the bill, the detail that left me most speechless and dissatisfied with the dinner was precisely the owner's attitude that behind an alleged kindness there is actually just a lot of presumption. I reiterate that the quality of the product has never been contested, but the preparation which compromised the result of the dish. For example, the pizza was excellent, the dough was digestible and not heavy and the toppings were up to par with the product served. I would increase the salary of the pizza chef, because that's what saves the fate of that place. Customers who pay for a service must be treated with respect and education.

23/10/2024: The place caught our attention for being in a small street and for the menu written outside on a blackboard, divided into categories: these are Vegetarian/meat/fish tapas. Rich variety of dishes, wines, cocktails. Cinzia is very nice, she was super friendly, easy going, hospitable and always smiling. We sat outside in the outdoor area with Nina, our dog, and she also enjoyed her "aperitif". I recommend it to you. For me I rate 10/10 In the photo the polenta with pioppini and on the bottom the crostone with sausage and onion.
