29/04/2026: I tried the chicken legs, which were really good and well-cooked. Excellent value for money.

21/04/2026: I called in the afternoon to make a reservation for 9 pm and was told they were full for that time, but they could make it for 9:30 (a reservation for two people, I'd say easy enough). As soon as we arrived, they told us our table would be ready in 20 minutes and to wait outside. I'd overlook the fact that the person who told us to wait 20 minutes was a child who looked like he was 11 or 12 years old at the most... They finally seated us at 10:15 after I came back, explicitly asking to be seated since I had a reservation for 45 minutes earlier. Only then did the waitress move a table that had already been filled up and prepare it for us. Some of the guys who were already seated told us they do that to everyone. The restaurant is old and in need of renovation. The bathroom is falling apart, and the smell throughout the restaurant is unpleasant. When you get home, you have to wash your clothes to avoid smelling like fried food for a week. The service wasn't exactly fast, but it wasn't slow either. The waiter picked his nose while taking our order; let's hope the kitchen doesn't do the same thing... It's a shame, because everything we ate was good and cheap (quite spicy, but good).

05/04/2026: Great food and service! They are really friendly and really took care of us. As their pizza are great, the pork dishes are also very delicious! So pity that we miss karaoke night. Definitely a lovely night in this lovely town!

07/03/2026: Saturday night, the place was packed. Unfortunately, there were only two people, or maybe even one, taking our orders. Our order wasn't taken until an hour after we'd sat down. We could have easily left, but we were with friends, and not everyone was happy to leave. Other than that, the food was very good.

29/03/2026: I got a takeout pizza yesterday, they messed up the order and delivered half of the pizzas, we had to wait another half hour for the other half to arrive, obviously all frozen like cardboard. Terrible experience.

03/05/2026: We've become regulars now! A welcoming, warm, and above all fun atmosphere. The place is perfect for a casual evening or for a karaoke night. It's a really fun idea, and on Saturdays, the legendary Sasà entertains everyone with neomelodic music. I highly recommend it. Excellent food and wonderful pizza. The staff is helpful and, above all, welcoming. Congratulations guys.

13/05/2026: My husband and I visited this bar while on the Lucca to Siena Camino. A lovely place to relax with a drink after a long walk. The bartender was very polite and friendly

02/05/2026: Welcoming staff. We stopped for a quick bite to eat, and found delicious croissants and cold drinks. There's even a billiards table inside. The walls of the shop have been opened up to passers-by, following the Via Francigena, so they can sign their names. Friendly and helpful staff.

19/03/2026: I returned after a year and a half; there were 6 of us. The fried food remains the star of the menu, the service is super friendly, but unfortunately for the rest... starting from the plastic flowers placed on the plates with decorative ceramic mushrooms, to the mussels that arrived twice dried out and lukewarm/cold despite the request for them to be hot, to the house white wine in the carafe lukewarm... The orders, despite the kitchen being at full capacity, arrived too quickly... not even enough time for the taste to change in your mouth... mmmmm... shame, really shame!!!! Nothing like the past experience. 😪

10/09/2025: Excellent place to try delicious and excellent seafood! 🐟 We came here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We ordered a seafood crudité, which was truly excellent. I, who don't like oysters, ordered two more (and my husband, being a true Apulian, also ordered two more, and he thought they were excellent!!). We continued with three first courses (pasta with clams) and one mixed fried fish dish, which was truly impeccable. You can taste the chef's love for cooking in the dishes, and especially the owner's passion for serving top-quality, fresh ingredients! If you want to eat good seafood, this is the place!

05/09/2025: Wonderful place with delicious seafood. Raw, sauted, deep fried, always perfect with sense of taste. Wide choice of desserts and very intering wine card. Reasonable prices.

13/06/2026: A truly excellent experience! The first thing that strikes you is the splendid terrace, a wonderful and well-kept location. Dining here is a true pleasure, especially on beautiful evenings. The staff was very helpful and professional, always attentive to the needs of their guests and able to make everyone feel at ease. The kitchen also offers dishes prepared with great care and excellent flavors. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent food, impeccable service, and a truly stunning terrace.

03/06/2026: The food at this restaurant is terrible. Being intolerant to garlic, I asked what entree I could have. The waitress, after visiting the kitchen, told me I could eat the tomato gnocchi. I trusted her, and a day later, I still have to digest them. Making fun of customers is shameful, so draw your own conclusions.

12/05/2026: We ordered two pizzas. One tasted like a carelessly made frozen pizza, and the vegetarian one was just pizza bread with completely unseasoned vegetables and absolutely no flavor. The pizzas were remarkably bad.

12/04/2026: We finished this lovely Sunday lunch at this pleasant restaurant. We had a set menu, from appetizer to dessert (drinks included), for a very reasonable price, and everything was delicious. There's a lovely outdoor garden where you can eat on nice days. The staff is very friendly, and Paolo and his wife are truly lovely and helpful. It's an experience we'll gladly repeat soon.

10/04/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is excellent, the meatballs are delicious—you basically eat very well at a good price. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable; Rigels is incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and cordial. We highly recommend it.
