13/05/2025: Wow, pizza! Great service! Absolutely worth the trip!

12/05/2025: They told me about this pizzeria as the "non plus ultra" in the area. One of the best gourmet pizzerias in Lucca and Pisa. I arrive on a Saturday evening after having booked for 5 and find a reservation for 3. Somehow the owner seats us. We order 4 pizzas and an Arabic bread. The Arabic bread arrives twenty minutes after the pizzas "because Arabic bread has a different type of cooking". Good products in line with other pizzerias of the same standard, prices above average. Ordinary draft beers. Digestion wasn't the smoothest during the night.

25/05/2025: Simple but well-kept and clean environment. Young, friendly and non-invasive staff. Particular attention to the gluten-free diet with homemade pasta and without the usual surcharges. All the products offered are excellent for quality and care.

02/06/2025: Starting from the assumption that the management of this place has changed a few months ago, instead of making the usual subjective review that can then be a waste of time, I would like to try to make a constructive criticism dictated by my professional backround and therefore not an end in itself: 1 - the nice location has great potential but there is still a lot to do especially in the external part. 2 - The brand "Il Cacciatore di Sapori" questionable from a corporate brand profile, but which could be fitting if applied to real culinary research in proposing unconventional dishes, otherwise there is the risk of creating misleading expectations for customers. 3 - The prices applied must be proportional to the quality of the raw materials offered and how they are cooked (eg fried fish at € 18.00). When you order a fried food at this price, it should be at least decent and not soaked in oil and without salt (as happened to me) ... These mistakes should never happen ... In favor of this thing, however, I must say that in any case of two terrible fried foods, one was taken off my bill. 4 - the service was good but not in line with the positioning to which the restaurant wants to aspire (e.g. when you bring wine to the table, before placing the bottle on the table, it is good practice to have it tasted first, which did not happen to me) ... Having said that, I hope for the owners that this review of mine serves above all as an incentive to progress and do better in the future ... The road to success is always uphill and full of obstacles and depends only on the decisions you will make along the way ... In any case, good luck with everything.

08/03/2025: Excellent, pizzas with various flavours, Vegan food and others with flavors from the Islands, Tuscany and other Italian regions. Family atmosphere, cheerful staff, attentive to the very professional customer. I recommend going at least once.

15/05/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with a large group of friends. The staff is very polite and efficient. The food is very good and quality. The house wine is above average, as are the desserts, excellent. I am not giving it 5 stars because the portions, despite the quality of the food, were in my opinion rather "small". A person with a good appetite remains unsatisfied.

10/05/2025: Very good restaurant and also pizzeria (La Pizzeria, which has the same name, and is located on the other side of Corso Matteotti). You can eat well at reasonable prices.
