18/05/2026: It's not exactly a pizzeria where you can sit down and relax; it's better to grab a pizza to go. They have a wood-fired oven, so it's good. There are a couple of tables, but the atmosphere isn't very welcoming. You can hear the noise of people queuing. Parking is limited, making it ideal for a quick stop.

The staff is young, dynamic, and very approachable, without ever lacking in professionalism. You immediately feel at ease.

20/10/2025: We ordered take-out for our party of 13. All the portions were plentiful and the food was good. It kept us fed for quite a while.

11/01/2026: Friendly, yes, but as far as I'm concerned, they weren't fast at all. We arrived at 1:50 PM and the first course didn't arrive until 2:40 PM. I can't even rate the second course, because as I write this, it hasn't arrived yet. I definitely won't be returning. I'm only giving the service five stars because, in the end, you have to do everything yourself.

11/01/2026: We ordered at around 1:50 PM. Everyone's dishes arrived at 3:00 PM. Each dish was missing from the order. 1 French fry was finished (but was there when we ordered) 1 fried pasta dish (we had ordered two, one was completely missing, and the remaining portion was served without the clam sauce) You have to set the table yourself, and well...they don't know how to do their job. The food, all in all, is normal...it's not as bad as the rest. On a positive note? The wine is good.

03/05/2026: Six stars for the kindness of Grandma and Daughter, for the atmosphere, and also for the traditional/authentic food. We, two Finns, spent a week in Ponsacco cycling through the Tuscan hills (which were also beautiful...). We wanted to eat simple, typical dishes of the area, food like home-made. Da Chiara was the perfect place to do it! We haven't found another place like it. The pasta was really good... We wanted to bring Grandma with us to Finlandia, but we weren't able to. 😉 Many, many greetings from us to you ❤️

29/04/2026: Ended up here by chance during a rush visit to the optician. It feels like you're allowed to pull up a chair in their living room! Friendly, cozy, and above all: the best pizza of the entire Tuscany holiday! We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

12/07/2025: I didn't really like the pizza, but I did like the rest... the meatballs and frese were delicious! 5 stars to the young waiter who arrived whatever I asked for in a flash! (For example, water for the dog or help warming the bottle!) The terrace was beautiful.

26/09/2025: I tried the Croatian Steak and it was a real surprise! 🥩🇭🇷 The meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with that char-grilled aroma that makes it irresistible. Served with simple yet tasty side dishes, it maximizes the authentic flavor of the meat. A dish that combines quality, tradition, and authenticity: a must-try for lovers of good food! I also tried the Donna Olimpia, and I must say it won me over! 🍷 The Donna Olimpia is an elegant and complex wine that expresses the authentic character of the Tuscan Maremma. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and light balsamic notes. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness that balances the structure. The finish is long, harmonious, and persistent. A wine with great personality, ideal for pairing with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, but also capable of shining on its own, as a stand-alone wine.

14/05/2026: The location might be deceiving—from the outside, it almost looks like a simple "bar," but the experience turned out to be FANTASTIC. The menu is very varied, from sliced ​​steak to sea bass, and everything is absolutely delicious! A special mention for the pizza; for those who like it thin and crispy, it's one of the best I've ever had. The woman who runs the place is super friendly, helpful, and kind. The pizza chef is the same; you can tell they're not the owners, but they really care about their work. Then there's the price, which, considering everything we ordered, was almost as expensive as a fast food joint. If I were nearby, I'd go there every day!

08/05/2026: Typical Italian... Lots of loud people and very tasty food at fair prices. We happened to be there and would go back for another meal in a heartbeat. I especially loved the calamari... €12 and a huge portion. Just the way you like it.

16/04/2026: In Pontedera, Grano Vivo is a well-known gourmet pizzeria, attracting customers thanks in part to the high expectations it generates. The place presents itself very well: a refined, pleasant atmosphere, with an open-view oven that contributes to a welcoming and modern atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you enter with a certain curiosity and anticipation, perhaps for an evening with friends and family, as in our case. The start was promising: we tried the so-called "pizza sushi," a creative and successful idea. Fragrant, delicate, and balanced in flavor—a dish definitely worth trying. The less convincing part, however, came with the pizzas. We chose a multigrain dough, expecting something unique and worthy of the place's reputation. Unfortunately, the pizzas arrived lukewarm, verging on cold, and this significantly impacted the experience: the result was a product that lacked expression, with flavors that struggled to emerge. More than bad, the pizza seemed dull, lacking the character one expects from a gourmet restaurant. Another aspect that matters a lot to us is digestibility: the next day, the feeling was a bit heavy, despite the relatively simple pizzas we chose. This suggests that the dough, at least on this occasion, wasn't perfectly balanced. Overall, it was a mixed experience: a pleasant atmosphere and some interesting ideas, but a pizza that didn't live up to expectations. With more attention to serving temperature and dough balance, the experience could certainly improve. It's still a place with potential, and it probably deserves another chance to show off its potential.

15/04/2026: Mine was a delightful evening. The atmosphere was beautiful, refined, and well-maintained, with a relaxing play of light. The staff is very kind, always smiling and helpful. Then comes the star of the evening: PIZZA!! It surprises you with its colors and aromas, and then comes the explosion of flavors combined with great skill! The dough is spectacular because it's light, very digestible, and cooked to perfection! I highly recommend it, and if you pay a little more, it's truly worth it!
