The service was very good. The food was good, though the portions weren't very large. It's definitely a tourist restaurant where you can eat well, but I wouldn't expect the Matera experience. We did have a spectacular zucchini risotto, though.

A place that makes a difference: the dishes, quality, and service are impeccable. The waiter doesn't just take your order and run away, but suggests dishes and portion sizes based on the courses you've requested. So, not only do you save money, but you also enjoy everything without having to leave the last courses on your plate. This is professionalism, hard to find elsewhere. All at a fair and reasonable price.
I highly recommend it. Well done!!

We celebrated a family birthday at Osteria al Casale. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. You could feel the high quality of the products. They were also incredibly accommodating to a person with a number of food intolerances, which was no small feat. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

A place open for a few hours offering so many wonderful flavors...inside the Sassi section you will find an incredible experience, a route that enchants you and flavors that will always remind you of Italy....definitely try the excellent bourata.....without reservation, just take the risk...

Excellent food, a welcoming and very clean atmosphere, with attention to detail. Excellent service and spectacular value. The traditional Lucanian cuisine with a modern twist is commendable. What more can I say? Osteria al Casale is located in a central area frequented by many tourists... You guys are amazing, incredible!
