30/12/2025: We went for lunch. I must say, the selection was truly excellent. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. The menu was traditional yet contemporary. We had cacciucchino crostini, which were tasty and delicate. The octopus on mashed potatoes was incredibly soft and delicious. The octopus spaghetti with olives was delicious, and the scampi ravioli garnished with shrimp and squid and chopped black olives. The bisque was amazing, and the bisque made all the difference. We also had two glasses of fragrant Terricciola Vermentino. Compliments to the kitchen and management.
Price in line with what we ordered, about €40 per person.
Definitely recommended.

04/11/2025: I was in the region with my father, and after 15 years we absolutely wanted to return to this restaurant, as we always remembered it as wonderful. And after 15 years, it's still excellent, and the food is of high quality. The value for money is right, and the service is excellent and very friendly. The view, the atmosphere, the food—simply perfect. One of our favorite restaurants in Tuscany, if not our absolute favorite. We will definitely come again; it's highly recommended, simply unique!

19/01/2026: Intrigued by the excellent reviews, I decided to try this little place hidden in a Pisa alley. What can I say?! The location is truly welcoming, and the staff is impeccable, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The menu is incredibly interesting, varied, and anything but predictable. Finally, some dishes that are out of the ordinary, with new and bold flavors.
Truly an unexpected surprise in the center of Pisa. I can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

20/01/2026: Small space, but for meat lovers, it's heaven. You walk in and, with all those hams and cheeses on display, it's instantly love at first sight. The staff is welcoming and knows how to put you at ease. The cuisine amazed me with the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. Simple, yet very refined. The wine selection is excellent. Not cheap, but the quality is very high. Very satisfied.
17/01/2026: A lovely Italian restaurant with authentic Tuscan food-everything was delicious and comforting, with generous portions and excellent pasta. Friendly, attentive service and a warm atmosphere. I’d happily come back!

A note of color: the stove, as scenic as it is smoky, took center stage for a few minutes.
Well-balanced portions and a pleasant overall experience. If they had been larger, I wouldn't have been offended. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'll be back in the spring. Recommended.
16/12/2025: Dinner with friends in a large group. The atmosphere, the friendliness, and the tasting of the meat dishes were excellent. The platter and the tea of samples with tongue, tripe, and wild boar were delicious.

28/09/2025: Absolutely favorite restaurant in Chianni. We’ve been here a month and the staff is so charming, attentive, and the food is tops! Get the gnudi, truffle tortellini, pork fillet, and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert! Unfortunately, we only ate here 7 times. lol. Will miss all of you dearly. Doina, Bianca, Matteo, and Valentina!

03/01/2026: A simple, basic place. Interesting menu; authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. We ordered fresh baked pasta with tomato sauce, fresh pasta with 'nduja, guanciale, and smoked scamorza (very spicy), and the "tasca dell'ortolano" (vegetarian pocket) and dessert. We were very satisfied.
29/11/2025: There are 2 unmissable things to do in Pisa - see the tower and go to this place!!!!
Such a hidden gem. A great spot for lunch, amazing atmosphere, and such welcoming owners. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had in Italy. Highly recommend!!

22/01/2026: We found this place in the town square after visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The service was very warm and welcoming. Especially Mr. Yunus was wonderful…We had two pasta dishes (gnocchi and ravioli) and a buffalo margarita pizza, and everything was delicious, especially the pasta. Highly recommended to anyone passing by.

12/10/2025: Zero professionalism, if the waiter shamelessly flirts with customers, charging only 2 euros for a sandwich just to keep hitting on me even after being rejected by my partner, and repeatedly asking for her Instagram account. We'll be back to pay full price for the sandwich and explain to this guy that by doing so, he's ruining the business of a restaurant that is an institution in Pisa. Congratulations.
