03/06/2026: I had a very disappointing experience with the service. The waiter behaved rudely and was unprofessional throughout the interaction. At one point, they even raised their voice, which made the situation uncomfortable and unpleasant. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in a service environment where politeness and respect are expected. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure better customer service in the future.

02/06/2026: A great place for an afternoon snack in Lucca. We enjoyed some delicious waffles sitting on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Duomo. An excellent experience.

06/06/2026: For goodness sake! An hour and a half of waiting to eat a second course with a side dish.

02/06/2026: Very good food. We arrived at 7:30 PM and I had appetizers to share: meatballs (average), pasta with butter and anchovies (good but a little salty), and zuppa inglese (good). Generally, prices are above average with very small portions, although the quality is excellent. When it came to dessert, while the service had been fast up until then, the waitress warned us that the desserts would be slower—they arrived just as we were about to leave, after half an hour. The place was packed, and the kitchen/service clearly couldn't keep up with the crowd. Poor service: placemats were taken away halfway through the table before dessert, dessert served on napkins (because apparently that's how it's done). The waitress and the older man (probably the owner) were the only positives, in terms of helpfulness, friendliness, and a smile during the service. If we had sat down at 9 PM, we probably would have gotten up after three hours. Actually, a couple of fewer tables but faster and more efficient service.

30/05/2026: The food was disgusting, inedible, absolutely disgusting. The service was ridiculous. It took 30 minutes to order, and then over an hour to wait for the first course. The next table got up disgruntled and left. It was a terrible evening. We'll never return. The rude waiters justified themselves after more than two hours of waiting, instead of apologizing. One star only for the location in the center of Pietrasanta.

16/12/2025: It was a long day for us, still not adapted to the opening hours of the Italian restaurants. When we thought that we won't be getting any food for the day, on a long winded road back to Corfino, we came across this place. Fabulous. Food and some home made delicacies.

14/11/2025: The restaurant enjoys a charming natural setting just steps from the lake. However, in my opinion, the interior, especially the terrace, could use a makeover. I also didn't find the food to my liking, as it was far too salty. We ordered mushroom fettuccine for four, and everyone at the table agreed. The staff was unwilling to replace the dishes, claiming they were incorrect without further explanation. Therefore, I can't say I had a good experience.

28/09/2025: The owner is a rude person who, without knowing us and only by phone after having paid for the overnight stay without a refund, sent my husband "fuck you" in exact words, screaming and saying to never contact him again. A real villain, I strongly advise against it! I WOULD REMOVE HIM FROM ALL SITES as well as REMOVE THEIR LICENSE. We are forced to put a star otherwise the review will not be published. Other than stars, STABLE

29/05/2026: Came here for a drink when out riding the bikes. Had a gin tonic and an aperol total bill was 34 euros.

10/05/2026: A truly disappointing experience at Caffè Roma. The place was practically empty, and we simply asked for a slightly secluded table because we were traveling with a medium-large dog. We also ate outside, so the request was more than reasonable and wouldn't have caused any inconvenience. We later asked for a water bowl for the dog and were told no "due to restaurant policy," inviting us to go outside where, according to them, we would find bowls that in reality weren't there at all. In the end, they brought us some water in an ashtray: something I found truly shameful and in terrible taste. A modicum of attention and respect for customers and animals would be the bare minimum, especially in a place of this caliber and with the restaurant empty. We won't be returning.
