30/08/2025: Very disappointed and unprofessional. We waited over 60 minutes for a first course and a fish dish 🐟. The reason given was that they make everything fresh. Out of respect for the customer, since we had a 10-month-old baby, we also ordered everything along with the appetizers.

24/08/2025: Beautiful place, very spacious, with tables both inside and outside, very well-kept garden. Excellent cuisine, generous portions. Antipasto with delicious cured meats and cheeses and house-made oil, accompanied by warm focaccia, made on the spot. Ravioli with sauce, super, handmade by them and seasoned with meat sauce (the sauce of the past 😜), sliced ​​​​porcini mushrooms, without comparison, fried mushrooms, house wine, a sparkling white, sorbet, desserts. And, in any case, the menu has a lot of choice. The service is impeccable and the kitchen is fast. From the owner to all the nice guys/girls. I highly recommend! We will be back very soon! Thank you

22/08/2025: Every time I'm in Versilia, it's my go-to place. Everyone is friendly and helpful, the prices are very fair, and there are plenty of services.

16/08/2025: After having been to the restaurant several times yesterday afternoon, returning from Sicily, we stopped for a break before continuing on to Lombardy. We had already made reservations for dinner, but since we were early, my husband took the liberty of asking to go through their walkway so the kids could see the sea. After asking several people in the restaurant, an annoyed woman asked us what "the request" was, since she hadn't followed the discussion. As if trying to solve the problem, she told us we could just walk by, but not "camp" because the lifeguard would get angry (I only had my bag). Now, I say, how arrogant can a manager respond to people like that??? First of all, you trust your customers, and if you see people taking advantage of you, you act accordingly! We didn't ask for lounge chairs or an umbrella (which, at 6:30 PM, you could have given in for five minutes anyway). We still ate there because the waiters were kind and helpful, but next time we go we'll definitely choose another place where the manager doesn't look at you or talk down to you.

08/09/2025: This was a bad pizzeria. After waiting a long time to be served, the waiter startede to take our order - before she suddenly said that they were out of pizza - in a pizzeria!! Bad service, dont go there!

12/09/2025: This beach club is 🔝in 40 years that I have been coming to Versilia I have never found such a welcoming beach club, starting from the great boss Riccardo, very reserved but if he gets to know you he opens his heart to you and is very nice, from his wife Melania, a skilled worker... then two super children Chiara always smiling with customers and always affable with everyone, truly a super 🔝then Andrea always attentive to everything and everyone and that everything runs smoothly... super waiters and lifeguards for a relaxing summer. SUPER BEACH CENTER🔝

09/09/2025: Perfect lunch at Bagno Santa Maria! Warm welcome and fast service: upon arrival, two super-delicious pizzas got us off to a great start. Then we indulged in a tasty appetizer, a delicious first course, and, to finish, the legendary "dai dai" bocconcino! Everything was excellent, with a sea view and a relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

02/04/2025: This place ticks all the boxes for a great morning bar stop: great caffe where they pre-heat the cup, fresh cornetti, friendly staff, good prices, outdoor seating, and a traditional vibe. I look for reasons to stop here.

19/08/2025: Service is terrible, food is ok. Was very hot all the other restaurants had mist spray on, when we asked if they would kindly put it on they responded “it is not hot” meanwhile we were sweating. Would not recommend this place.

19/08/2025: 12 euro frozen pizza, first courses not excellent but not good either, very small portions, and for the carbonara I recommend looking online to see how it's made.

02/09/2025: There were four of us one evening. The service was incredibly slow and inattentive. Not a single waiter was in sight. It took over an hour for four pizzas, and the beers didn't arrive until later. The pizza was inadequate because it was full of flour, and you could taste the poor quality ingredients. The interior was nice, but the outside was in a very run-down condition. Some tourists had sat at a table at the same time as us and hadn't cleared it yet. They left without eating. There's this fake grass on the floor, which would be nice if it were clean and perhaps taken care of. The staff was quite unfriendly, except for one guy who, poor guy, does everything himself.

15/08/2025: Wednesday 13th August evening we ordered 2 pizzas and a local platter with many seats there are 20 people present in front of more than seventy seats, so it can be said half empty... you need to be very, very patient the pizza and the platter arrived a good 57 minutes later (verified from the moment we sat down a WhatsApp was sent immediately) arrived after a reminder from us, pizza not cooked well in favor of excellent prices

13/06/2025: We arrived at Maki Maki at 11:30 PM, convinced we were going to have a great night, but it was a real disaster. After half an hour of being inside, no one had even bothered to bring us drinks. The guest of the evening arrived after 2 AM, an endless wait without any explanation or respect for those who had been there for hours. The icing on the cake? When I dared to complain — quite legitimately — about the fact that it was already 2:15 AM and still no one had shown up, a gentleman (I don't know what role he had, but he was behind the console) thought it best to answer me... by pushing me. A total lack of respect, professionalism and safety. Not only did they not even let us leave in the meantime, but the treatment was truly unacceptable. Overrated place, terrible organization and aggressive staff. I will never return and I advise anyone not to set foot there.

08/06/2025: We were a group of eight guys on a mission to throw a bachelor party to remember. Despite numerous warnings from locals — who recommended more elegant and relaxed environments in the Viareggio dock — we decided to challenge fate and cross the threshold of the infamous Maki Maki. As soon as we entered, we found ourselves catapulted into what seemed like a summer camp for teenagers: the average age at first glance lower than the right to vote in Italy. The service was a bit poor. The table was dirty when we arrived and the waiters were practically absent. And yet, between a kid looking for cigarettes and a few shaky drinks, the evening began to pick up pace. Good commercial music, surprisingly engaging entertainment girls, and the price was all in all fair for a nightclub in this area. A positive note to the very kind guy who served us a hookah at the table with a smile on his lips, saving the honor of the service. In short, Maki Maki is an experience that is somewhere between memories of teenage vacations and unexpected fun. Not for everyone, but if you're looking for music and a touch of the absurd, with the right mix of tequila shots, you might even come away satisfied.

15/07/2025: Siamo state a cena io e le mie amiche, esperienza totalmente negativa. Ore 21.30, ci siamo sedute a cena una mia amica trova un pezzo di vetro sul tavolo mentre un'altra mia amica si è tagliata un dito con un pezzo di vetro che si trovava sul suo tovagliolo, per fortuna che stava prendendo il tovagliolo per metterlo sulle gambe e non per pulirsi la bocca. Le portano del disinfettante e un cerotto e per scusarsi dell accaduto dicono che ci offriranno i dolci, invece dopo erano tutti inseriti sul conto!!! Molti dei piatti del menù TERMINATI! 3 tipi di vini rosè, 2 dei quali TERMINATI e l'unico rimasto IMBEVIBILE Abbiamo ordinato gli stessi piatti per non aspettare troppo Alcuni erano crudi altri erano stracotti (tipo l uovo) La paella immangiabile, riso o crudo e bruciato!!!! Confidavo nei churros e invece, totalmente insapore!!! Servizio lentissimo! MAI PIÙ P.S.: a fine serata avranno rotto almeno 4/5 bicchieri, ecco perchè tutti quei pezzi di vetro sul tavolo.
