Antica Drogheria In Lucca

Great food at below tourist pricing levels. They have all of the usuals from antipasti, pasta, carne, wood fired pizza, & calzone all tucked into an old tobacco shop. During the summer there’s also outdoor dining along the Fosse (stream).

Very cute retro place. We had the Tordello special, consisting of tomato bruschetta (normal), tordelli alla lucchese (good but not wow-factor), and the chocolate torta coi becchi (good). Friendly staff. Very fast service. Reasonable price compared to other places in the area.

Hard tordelli pieces of uncooked meat pasta half raw and half cooked, sauce no comment, I'm talking about the broth, appetizer ok Tuscan and good cured meats and the pizza is very good and I say this as a person from the south and crispy and cooked perfectly, I'm revising the review because I hadn't noticed that this part was missing, and not because I know the owner by sight I'm objective I told you the tordello was raw and the waiter I don't know if he was making fun of me but he's nice I can say this can happen the raw tordello is not anyone's fault anyway I'm objective the wine was good the house one very full-bodied unlike other wines that seem like tavernello😜 I apologize for the half-review but I noticed it after the owner liked it

The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The food was excellent. I especially recommend the beak cake.

Everything perfect, place to recommend

The seemingly low price reflects the poor quality/enjoyment of the food. The pizza looked great, but the taste was only average. The tiramisu looked just like the photo; it had no flavor and no texture (I've never had such a bland tiramisu, even in Germany). What a shame.

Excellent, bright restaurant, a traditional menu with a wide selection, attentive and friendly staff, highly recommended!

We found this place by chance while strolling around Lucca. The menu included bruschetta, meat, side dish, water, and coffee for €20, not bad but nothing special. We didn't like the desserts at all; they were bland and cold. When we asked for the VERY COLD crème brûlée to be reheated inside, the waiter made a fuss, claiming otherwise, making us feel uncomfortable. He then left in a huff and said he'd reheat the dessert in the microwave.
