15/12/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had dinner at Ristorante Da Oscar to celebrate a truly special occasion: our tenth wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Da Oscar is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and appreciated seafood restaurants in Livorno, and the experience lived up to its reputation. The restaurant immediately conveys a sense of high quality, both in terms of the ambiance and the impeccable service: attentive, professional, and always friendly, without ever being intrusive. You feel pampered from start to finish. The cuisine is excellent. We started with a trio of seafood appetizers, all of which were of the highest quality, with attention to detail and the freshest ingredients. Before that, we enjoyed a complimentary seafood cream soup, a much-appreciated gesture that demonstrates customer service and a love of hospitality. For my first course, I enjoyed an extraordinary dish: pasta with sea urchin sauce, intense, balanced, and with an authentic seafood flavor, truly memorable. To round out the dinner, desserts: a millefeuille and a cheesecake, both excellent, light, and perfectly balanced. A great added bonus was the option to order everything gluten-free, without sacrificing taste or quality: a fundamental consideration that makes the restaurant even more recommendable. In conclusion, Da Oscar is an absolute guarantee: excellent seafood cuisine, high-level service, attentive customer service, and meticulous attention to detail. A perfect restaurant for both a romantic dinner and special occasions. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️🐟

21/08/2025: Amidst the gourmet, pseudo-Neapolitan pizzas, with doughs hydrated like algebraic formulas, here you'll find the full power of the simplicity of a well-made pizza, made with quality ingredients and expert hands. The prices are average, but the pizzas are very well-topped. The owners are kind and welcoming, always ready for a chat. The atmosphere is more like that of a classic takeout pizzeria, but it's clean (most importantly) and well-maintained, with plastic tables outside for summer dining. For me, it's a top-notch experience; if I ever pass through Livorno again, I'd gladly return!

31/10/2025: A small but excellent menu, without the usual tourist fare. Anyone who complains about Pino's cooking doesn't know much about good food. Unusual dishes paired with good wines. 01/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for an aperitivo. For 5 for 10 euros each, we got a drink and all the food pictured. The rice pudding, marinated cabbage, and egg rolls were truly excellent. The place is very well-kept, both inside and out—a truly wonderful discovery!

07/03/2026: Had lunch on a Sunday out of season. A wonderful surprise. The appetizer selections were delicious (suitable for two). The dishes were carefully prepared, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

27/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant last year and were fortunate enough to find it open in February! The service was impeccable, and all our dishes featured the freshest fish! The appetizer was excellent, offering a taste of Rio's specialties like bonito and tuna, and it's enough for two... then we tried four different first courses, all of which were fantastic. The quality/price/quantity ratio was excellent. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner 2025: terrible service, terrible organization, terrible food, cold place despite the pellet stove, which they probably turned on at the last minute. When I returned home, I had a strong heartburn and a fever. Never again. I don't recommend it, and the other three diners had the same opinion.
