10/10/2025: Excellent, especially thanks to Ramy's great professionalism! 10/10/2020 The restaurant continues to be the jewel in the crown of Calidario. We were there again this year, and the excellent quality of the chef and staff, especially Ramy, was confirmed. The owner also offered us a rosemary distillate, whose deliciousness underscores the quality of the place. We will definitely be back.

19/08/2025: Five stars for everything and ten with honors. If I had to choose a location for my Paradise it would definitely be this one.

18/04/2025: Having passed by chance in the area today, I noticed this pastry shop! (They have been open since 2017, think about it 😂 ) The very kind lady at the counter welcomes us with a beautiful smile; I take a classic pasticciotto and another sweet piece with cherries which, unfortunately, I don't remember the name of! What can I say, excellent and truly good products! I give the pasticciotto a 4.5/5 because in the half I shared I only found one cherry (the other person got two 😂 ). I give the other sweet piece a 4/5: soft dough, very good, good filling but, to my personal taste, a mix of flavors that I'm probably not very used to. The high quality of the product itself undoubtedly remains. I'll be back soon, maybe in the morning to discover more of their delights!

13/09/2025: Excellent fish-based lunch. My only small complaint: the portions... too small to fully enjoy those dishes! 😉

30/08/2025: A pleasant restaurant, with well-prepared dishes, although the portions are, in my opinion, modest. The service staff was helpful and friendly. The prices, however, are above average, and in my opinion not justified by either the location or the dishes.

28/10/2025: Excellent food quality and good professional service in a nice garden out side Porto Azzurro. Off season it's good to have a place on their covered terrace.

23/09/2025: Top-notch Italian dishes. Pasta is fantastic, and they also have premium pizza—but go for the fish dishes instead. They serve incredibly fast by German standards, so take your time with your meal. Local Italians come and go here. 😅

18/09/2025: Service was rather inadequate and condescending; compared to other tables, the effort was clearly minimal, even though there were only four other tables occupied. The food was fresh, but apart from being fried, nothing else had happened to the ingredients, nothing had been seasoned, and the portions were nowhere near filling, even if you eat several courses in a row. A secondi piatti, for example, contains the following list of ingredients: one prawn, a squid tube cut in half, and a tablespoon-sized piece of tuna placed on something that, with a lot of concentration, can be identified as a vegetable. Other restaurants in the immediate vicinity serve much larger portions of reasonable quality for less money.

15/08/2025: Very welcoming, family-run place with friendly, welcoming staff! Delicious pizzas and equally delicious pasta dishes! I highly recommend it!

02/09/2025: A small hotel about a 7-minute drive from the sea. Picturesque surroundings. The pool is quiet and beautifully situated among the olive trees. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are new. There's a small drinks fridge and a TV. Some even have a kitchenette without a stovetop. A high-quality breakfast with fruit, cereal, cake, croissants, and rolls is recommended. Half board is recommended. The kitchen is cooked over an open fire. The food is very good! The staff is very friendly.

27/09/2025: Stopping for lunch or dinner at Luca at Bar Aurelio is always a guarantee!! I rarely find people so passionate about the food they offer, from appetizers to desserts and snacks, exceptional quality!!!... The raw materials are excellent and are the result of travel and immersion in the places where they are produced... He has a deep knowledge of the products he chooses, trades and with which he prepares phenomenal dishes! Wood-fired porchetta... his wood-fired oven churns out irresistible potatoes and meats... guys, stop by... even for a snack. And try the excellent quality even in what may seem like a simple sandwich or appetizer! A great connoisseur of Tuscan olive oil as it should be!!!! Pasta and rice of the best reserves!!!! And for this too I find myself in agreement with his choices! 🤗 To Luca and all his staff (truly excellent!) my best compliments!!!!

24/08/2025: Da Aurelio is a guarantee. Last night, I enjoyed a platter of cured meats, wonderful mozzarella, gorgonzola, and sausages, unique porchetta with potatoes, and a soft and delicious apple pie! The prices are more than fair for a quality that's increasingly hard to find! We'll be back again and again!

26/10/2025: At Michele's restaurant, everything is in its place, and even my dog, who arrived unannounced, found a friendly place. I had a mouth-watering fried juvenile fish platter, followed by a homemade taglierini pasta with amberjack and bottarga. The stuffed zucchini flowers and the grouper steak were also beautiful. A chestnut flan with goat's ricotta mousse rounded out the evening. The price is in line with the food and service. Would you want to spend 50-60 for a dinner like this if a pizzeria costs at least 25? Highly recommended.

21/09/2025: Impeccable service, clean atmosphere, and consistently top-notch food and wine list. From appetizers to dessert, this place never disappoints. I should add that we have a celiac in my family, but they are attentive and knowledgeable both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Highly recommended!

10/10/2025: An informal restaurant, divided into two small rooms, one inside and one outside under a closed gazebo. The tables were too close together, and I barely managed to sit down. There's no paper or QR code menu; the menu is spoken without specifying the prices of the various dishes. There's also no wine list, and to choose carefully, you have to get up from your table to personally inspect the refrigerator. Despite this, the wine I requested wasn't brought to me. The food itself wasn't bad; once I'd finished the first course, I put my silverware on my plate, as is customary, and they weren't brought back when the second course arrived. I had to ask for it and then had to get up to be given it. Once dinner was finished, we asked the waiter to prepare the unfinished dish for us to take away, and I had to wait half an hour before getting up again to request the same thing. It's a shame about the food, but the service needs a complete overhaul; it's seriously inadequate.

10/10/2025: Wow, very delicious food, especially the spicy octopus as well the typical Tuscan dishes. We and our kids loved it, our kids are still hungry for the clams fritto misto. Best lunch without any tourists🫣 only locals 👍 bellissima e tippitoppi

23/09/2025: A fixed-menu dinner that varies based on the catch of the day. Homemade, authentic dishes. A charming and romantic atmosphere, with tables set under a lit grapevine pergola.

14/09/2025: I went to the restaurant on Friday evening by word of mouth. I immediately found a very welcoming atmosphere characterized by a beautiful pergola with a variety of grapes. The service staff was highly professional, reliable, kind, and very attentive to the needs of the customers. The quality and preparation of the fish was excellent. The fish was very fresh and very tasty. I ate divinely and the price was more than fair. I felt at home. It was an unforgettable evening. It will certainly be one of my favorite destinations when I return to the Island of Elba. I thank chef Paola very much for her superb cooking and she deserves my praise, as does the truly professional waiter. I highly recommend it because it deserves to be known.
