09/01/2026: Excellent trattoria on the Aurelia Vecchia, near Bolgheri. Warm welcome, very good food, nice wine selection. Service was a bit rushed (they rushed to clear our plates while I was still chewing the last bite 😂). Not cheap, but still in line with what we ordered.

24/12/2025: We didn't feel welcomed; the older lady was very spartan. The place could be very nice, but... The first course was nothing special, in fact, the second course was very good, the potatoes were bland. The girl at the tables was too pushy.

28/09/2025: The restaurant surprised me; it's beautiful inside and out, with an incredible sunset view. The gastronomic experience is wonderful, blending tradition with a modern touch. Every detail is worthwhile; I simply loved it.

17/09/2025: An experience that was nothing short of fairytale... We stumbled upon this fairytale place with its amazing location and food, and the hospitality it deserves. The food was a delight, even our 5-year-olds complimented the ragù, and I'll leave you to imagine the dishes for the adults. Thank you for everything, the wonderful evening you gave us!!!! 14/09/2025: I went to the restaurant on Friday evening by word of mouth. I immediately found a very welcoming atmosphere characterized by a beautiful pergola with a variety of grapes. The service staff was highly professional, reliable, kind, and very attentive to the needs of the customers. The quality and preparation of the fish was excellent. The fish was very fresh and very tasty. I ate divinely and the price was more than fair. I felt at home. It was an unforgettable evening. It will certainly be one of my favorite destinations when I return to the Island of Elba. I thank chef Paola very much for her superb cooking and she deserves my praise, as does the truly professional waiter. I highly recommend it because it deserves to be known.

17/10/2025: Perfect express fish soup! Don't complain about the 40-minute wait... or make a reservation! Thanks to the staff who start working at 7:00 AM to prepare the homemade bread you can enjoy at dinner ❤️

10/10/2025: What can I say? The chef, with whom we personally reserved a table yesterday, has learned his craft. The "fish soup" is top-notch. The tomato sauce "soup" has a truly perfect balance between the acidity of the tomatoes and the sugar, which brings them to life. Simply brilliant. Mama Sita, in a nutshell. It couldn't be better. It was just as delicious from bite to bite as you couldn't achieve it yourself. The recommended wine complemented the taste experience positively. We had the soup for one person and shared it because we wanted a second dish. We had the homemade ravioli. That was the crowning glory. The homemade sauce, too, was a gourmet's dream. A Michelin-starred restaurant could add this chef to its menu once a month. Provided the best fresh produce is used. He buys fresh produce every morning, as he told me. So make a reservation and enjoy—it's worth every cent. And to top it all off, there was a lemon sorbet. For the lady at the table, it's normal, and for me, it's vodka and a cafe doppio. Unfortunately, it's not in the picture.

14/01/2026: I thought it would be better... Many years ago, it was a better place, but it still has its charm and the location is enviable. It offers the opportunity to purchase high-end champagne and other important bottles. Not all bars have them. Of course, buying them at the bar isn't cheap, but if you decide to do so, lucky you.

The self-service service is very special, allowing you to get both drinks and pizza, which is served on wooden trays already cut so you can let everyone taste the various types. The desserts are also good. The staff and restaurant owner are friendly and helpful. Go there.

02/09/2025: I was here as a child 23 years ago. Nothing has changed: a casual, sporadic atmosphere, great prices, and truly amazing, authentic pizza. It's worth making a reservation during peak season. A large selection of beers—the only drawback, which didn't matter to us, is that the waiter takes your order; you have to pick up drinks and food from a serving station. It's best to park below in the village, as you can only reach the restaurant on foot, though through the beautiful mountain town. We'll be back, and not in 23 years. Thank you!

27/09/2025: Stopping for lunch or dinner at Luca at Bar Aurelio is always a guarantee!! I rarely find people so passionate about the food they offer, from appetizers to desserts and snacks, exceptional quality!!!... The raw materials are excellent and are the result of travel and immersion in the places where they are produced... He has a deep knowledge of the products he chooses, trades and with which he prepares phenomenal dishes! Wood-fired porchetta... his wood-fired oven churns out irresistible potatoes and meats... guys, stop by... even for a snack. And try the excellent quality even in what may seem like a simple sandwich or appetizer! A great connoisseur of Tuscan olive oil as it should be!!!! Pasta and rice of the best reserves!!!! And for this too I find myself in agreement with his choices! 🤗 To Luca and all his staff (truly excellent!) my best compliments!!!!

24/08/2025: Da Aurelio is a guarantee. Last night, I enjoyed a platter of cured meats, wonderful mozzarella, gorgonzola, and sausages, unique porchetta with potatoes, and a soft and delicious apple pie! The prices are more than fair for a quality that's increasingly hard to find! We'll be back again and again!

01/10/2025: We got two pizzas here and ate them right on the lovely square in front. It was super quick, the pizzas were delicious, and they also serve cold drinks at reasonable prices. Perfect for a quick, delicious dinner.
