01/05/2025: Appena entrata nel ristorante, sono rimasta colpita dagli affreschi e dall’arredamento in stile bohémien, curato nei minimi dettagli. Il personale è stato attento e preciso, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Il cibo era buono e ha completato perfettamente la serata

29/04/2025: Locale veramente carino, affrescato con gusto, camerieri di classe, il mio piatto preferito sono state le cozze al roqueford, che vengono servite in una pentola coperta insieme a delle buonissime frech fries, ottime per accompagnare la portata

05/11/2024: The rooms were clean but there really isn’t much more to be said about the place. Fairly easy to get access with doors working with phone entry systems/codes. We were there in October and the town seemed dead - hard to tell why one would want to stay in Pontasieve - in our case it was simply because it marked the the first leg of the Camino San Francesco from Florence to Rome.

04/11/2024: Excellent location near a free car park (in front of the post office) and very close to the station (and in 20 minutes you can be in Florence). The rooms are a bit basic and not soundproofed (you can even hear the neighbors' alarm clocks), lack of sockets next to the bedside tables. The self check-in service is excellent and works online via a special site (you need to have a connection, but you are notified in advance and the password for the WiFi is provided in advance, along with a video tutorial to help you understand how to log in. There is also a vending machine and a nice little courtyard. The excellent pastry shop next to the station is very close by.

03/05/2025: Very average.. we tried schiacciatas, we had sandwiches with bread that looked like burgers with lots of crumbs.. In any case it looked like everything except schiacciatas.. we ate anyway and it wasn't bad.

16/02/2025: Come sempre buonissimo, cibo tipico toscano e qualità eccellente! Noi abbiamo preso due primi e poi cervello fritto e lampredotto. Location stupenda e prezzi sotto la media.

06/12/2024: Un'ottima trattoria Toscana con il pregio di offrirti una bella vista sulla vallata ricca di vigneti e oliveti. Un menù interessante arricchito con piatti particolari come ad esempio il "frittino" tra gli antipasti composto da fritto di salvia, di formaggio, di polenta aromatizzata e di frittelle di zucchine e cipolle: squisito. Ottime le pappardelle al sugo di coniglio e i pici con funghi e carciofi. Il fritto di carni miste (pollo, coniglio e agnello) età molto ben fatto: asciutto e saporoso anche se forse la porzione sarebbe potuta essere un poco più ricca. Per finire la torta di cioccolata fatta in casa era veramente molto buona. Per concludere: questa trattoria è stata una piacevole scoperta. Il servizio gentile il prezzo nella media di quelli nella zona ma giusto se si considera anche il panorama che viene offerto.

04/05/2025: Dispensa Emilia is one of the oldest refreshment points in the lilies but it always manages to take away that desire for typical Emilian food. Dishes cooked at the moment and of medium-high quality compared to the others. It is very delicate in flavors and has a very broad menu. Excellent value for money. Service something to review too much chaos on the weekend

25/04/2025: We ordered 2 lasagnas plus other dishes for a total of €83.30, 1 and a half arrived, we pointed this out and they replied that the portions arrive packaged and frozen and they can't do anything about it if I wanted they could add a little more sauce, I'm sorry because I've been going there for a long time, I hope you pay a little attention to the customer and don't just think about profit

16/04/2025: You eat for what the place is, I took advantage of the fork discount and therefore perfect quality and price. The cut is a little fatty and the pici are very peppery for my personal taste.

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa. I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments. I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

19/01/2025: Locale spazioso, pulito, luminoso anche senza le finestre, arredato con sobrietà e buon gusto. Personale molto gentile, servizio veloce. Ho preso una "Michelangelo" preferendo la pinsa che trovo più leggera e digeribile (c'è la versione pizza e la versione pinsa). Arrivata calda, croccante e morbida al tempo stesso, abbondantemente condita. Probabilmente la base è già pronta ma è comunque molto buona. Il tutto accompagnato da una birra ambrata alla spina. Il dolce credo sia il punto forte di questo locale (non per nulla ha un locale dedicato alla pasticceria!!!). Ho preso un tiramisù. Il dolce da solo vale 5 stelle. Ampia, infinita scelta di dolci. Il prezzo molto ragionevole. Ho usufruito di uno sconto, prenotando con The Fork e mi hanno ulteriormente scontato il caffè. Ritornerò anche solo per assaggiare altri dolci.

07/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena perché ci era stato consigliato da amici e non possiamo che lasciare una recensione super positiva! Il proprietario Riccardo è stato davvero gentile, premuroso e simpatico: ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio con la sua accoglienza calorosa. Abbiamo ordinato i pici e il maialino al forno: entrambi piatti eccezionali, preparati con cura e davvero deliziosi. Un’esperienza autentica e piacevole sotto ogni punto di vista. 05/04/2025: Un ristorante consigliato da amici nelle vicinanze della cantina Antinori altra splendida esperienza Il ristorante è un classico delle terre senesi ma si mangia veramente molto bene Non abbiamo preso antipasti o primi ma siamo andati subito sulla carne E abbiamo mangiato un ottimo giro arrosto ( quaglia ,fegatini,Salciccia ,pollo , agnello) molto molto bene fatto , poi un eccellente maialino da latte e patate , per me fantastico senza aglio e spezie varie . Per ultimo una lombata bene cotta e molto gustosa . Buoni i dolci

26/04/2025: Posh atmosphere, generous portions, thin pizza, perhaps too thin, but seasoned properly. Vast choice on the menu, we'll be back...and to think that we ended up here by chance. Worth trying, recommended.

Piatti ricercati , pieni di sapore , abbinamenti insoliti molto apprezzati, sapori unici, bravo lo chef e grande maestria del proprietario che abbina perfettamente vini diversi ad ogni piatto , una grandissima scelta di vini naturali da tutto il mondo , che nasce da una conoscenza profonda del mondo del vino naturale. Enoteca unica a Firenze, che rispecchia la professionalità dei proprietari. Complimenti!
