21/07/2024: I met this restaurant and its fabulous staff a couple of years ago, a very welcoming environment, an environment that becomes familiar over time. I would say an environment of times gone by, you become part of everyday life with them, you get to know each other and thus fabulous friendships are born. Working nearby, every now and then I treat myself to a quick greeting or lunch from Gianluca. Both he and his wife or the legendary Francesca pamper every customer, they are always cheerful, fun. 13/07/2024: Ambiente buio,sporco,vetrina con cose indefinite al suo interno,titolare che cerca di fare il simpaticone....piatti a dire poco indecenti...sono rimasti al 1970....pasta precotta e raffreddata sotto l acqua fredda dato che ha perso il suo colore e scotta la salsa messa sopra e tanta acqua sotto alla pasta stessa un roast beef indecente l unica cosa buona erano le rape rosse comprate gia cotte....l acqua ti arriva in bottiglie di vetro con il rigo del calcaree l olierà in tavola con olio che sembra di semi di infima qualità....un caffè che sembra d orzo....va bene che a pranzo il costo è di 10€ ma piuttosto un panino . Ci siamo capitati una volta ma sarà anche l ultima. Il posto avrebbe anche chance dato che è vicino ad un Grande ospedale (Careggi)ma così No.

30/04/2025: Beautiful location surrounded by greenery and with a bright veranda. Lots of free in person parking. The staff were courteous and professional. The cutting board was well stocked with good and special croutons and the two types of cheese, but not all the cold cuts were good. I was disappointed by the very thin and poorly seasoned pizza, no particular taste.

19/06/2025: Convenient because it is large and has a certain variety of places to eat (bar, McDonald's, Chef express, focaccia romana). Large, fully air-conditioned dining area. Sufficient convenience store. Large internal bathrooms, in a number above average and clean. Well-kept premises.

18/06/2025: Truly the best breakfast in Florence!! A croissant costs €1.40 (but there are also those of €1.60+) and a cappuccino €1.70 (at least to take away). I recommend you try an empty croissant, it is truly the best in Florence. The taste is really good, it is an incredible thing that I cannot explain. It can be difficult to find a place to sit but in reality this is always a problem in Florence.

01/01/2025: Prenotato tramite the fork il locale risultavo molto carino come esteticamente cosi’ è stato anche in presenza, previo arrivo a Firenze per l’ultimo dell’anno ho scritto tramite mail se fosse attivo il servizio pizzeria per mangiare la pizza (non servendosi del menu’) purtroppo pero’ non ho ricevuto risposta. All’arrivo troviamo il menu’ di capodanno (cio’ che volevamo evitare) ordiniamo e al secondo piatto (carre’ di vitello con fiocchi di pure e porcini) vengono trovati a fine piatto dei vermi nei funghi, avvertiamo un cameriere e ci viene detto che è normale perché essi vengono coltivati nel campo, dopo averlo detto ad un’altra cameriera arrivano le scuse. Arriviamo a pagare il conto e ci vengono offerti due caffe’ (al posto del rimborso del piatto servito) senza neanche scusarsi del fatto avvenuto e prendendo in considerazione che quei vermi noi li avevamo mangiati.

29/11/2024: Trattoria not exactly Florentine but with some dishes that bring back to the local tradition, crostini with ragù very good, as the tagliatelle with the same sauce, a little less exciting the "penne alla carretta", pasta with tomato and cream basically ... maybe to be reviewed. Service normal, the boy is kind and friendly. Price normal for a crostini, two first courses, a second course and a dessert: €52.50.

07/06/2025: Review for the restaurant, not the albergo. Classic Tuscan food, at the classiest terrace overlooking the main square. Everything is traditional, from the dishes, presentation, wine list, no nonsense service. Great experience all around.

01/06/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant on the terrace overlooking the square. The food was really, really great. The staff and owners were very kind and available to solve any problem. A real gem in the center of Greve in Chianti. Very fair prices. We will definitely be back.
