25/06/2025: You eat outside on wooden tables. The food is good and the prices reasonable. Being so close to the Arno also gives a bit of a break from the heat with a very pleasant breeze.

24/06/2025: The spirit and the wait are those of a festival if you go on the weekend, so I suggest going every other day. View of the Arno and excellent meat.

31/05/2025: I was there in the afternoon, so I didn't see this place at its busiest time. They accommodated us for an unusual request with patience and courtesy that I really appreciated. As for the food, my cousin's daughter ate a brioche, she's small, so I can't give an opinion, but she "dusted" it so I think it was good

28/01/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo posto con il fidanzato di mia figlia. Premetto che trattandosi di un Lunedì, l'affluenza non è stata massiccia. Abbiamo prenotato ed al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti Clio (insieme al marito titolari del ristorante). Si è da subito dimostrata molto gentile e disponibile facendoci accomodare. Mi sono da subito sentito a mio agio. L' introduzione della stessa Clio si è focalizzata sulla breve storia della provenienza del nome del ristorante e del tipo di cucina proposta.... Abbiamo ordinato 2 primi e a seguire una fiorentina da poco più di 1 kg.con contorno di patate arrosto. Il tutto accompagnato da una ottima bottiglia di Chianti. La stessa Clio si è preoccupata più volte nel chiederci come procedesse e se il tutto fosse di nostro gradimento. Tra una chiacchiera e l'altra, ci racconta dell' immensa passione per la cucina e il traguardo raggiunto diventando sommelier. Per concludere la serata abbiamo anche ordinato una meravigliosa zuppa inglese. Cosa molto importante è che tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato è rigorosamente fatto in casa. Grandi...

25/05/2025: Beautiful location and central position. This theater-restaurant is very suggestive; you can watch a show and dine at the same time. Open kitchen. The food was good considering that there were many of us. I discovered it during a private event. The staff was very kind and available for any information or solution. I will definitely return.

15/04/2025: A unique experience in Florence. The format might not appeal to everyone, but it's worth trying at least once! The restaurant operates as a buffet and wine is paid separately. The cuisine is very tasty, but you will have to stand in line and bring the dishes and wine to the table yourself. After dinner the concert/show begins.

03/06/2025: Location bellissima, un luogo incantevole, tranquillo, sembra di entrare in un piccolo mondo incantato. Ristorante da encomio a mio parere. Cibo ottimo, senza troppo pretese ma ben fatto e con prezzi assolutamente adeguati (in altre città a quei prezzi si ha accesso a qualità nettamente inferiori). Vino una garanzia, ma d’altronde non ci si può aspettare nulla di meno da una cantina storica come questa. Personale educato, preparato, accogliente ma discreto. Menzione particolare meritano le stoviglie che sono forse l’espressione un po’ più visibile da fuori della cura che la proprietà ha deciso di dare a questo ristorante. Io mi sono innamorata di questo luogo, ci tornerò e spero proprio di amarlo anche di più la prossima volta. Bravi davvero e un grande grazie! (Come mi piace fare queste recensioni! Rarissime per me ma sempre fatte con grande gioia!)

25/05/2025: Si nota l’impegno nel voler proporre piatti innovativi ed abbinamenti di sapori eclettici, i risultati però non sono sempre soddisfacenti. Porzioni minime, esaurite in un solo boccone (livello tapas) con prezzi da stellato! Ambiente piacevole, servizio gradevole. Non credo che ci tornerò… peccato!!!

23/06/2025: Food was fine, but service was horrible. I think it was the owner who was our waiter and he just kept ignoring us the whole time. If you ever have to come here just sit inside.

12/06/2025: Yikes, had modest expectations for a neighborhood restaurant and this fell well short. All 3 employees were Japanese and spoke broken Italian through thick accents. What we received did not match the menu. Wine was sold as a carafe but server poured one glass from an open bottle and never returned. My "Florentine steak" was a 1/2" thick overcooked t-bone. Single worst dining experience in a month-long visit to Italy. Look elsewhere!

06/06/2025: Historic Florentine establishment with over 100 years of business, opened in 1919. Excellent food, great value for money with a picturesque and traditional setting. Satisfied, but they don't make coffee. Friendly owner, hesitant to accept the POS.

03/06/2025: We like going to La Mescita: a typical, basic place, few dishes but typical and without frills. In an increasingly commercial Florence that covers up its beauties to make tourists happy, having lunch at La Mescita is a real refreshment. The only note, they don't like ATMs.

17/06/2025: This restaurant was close to our hotel and decided to try it out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. The food was incredible. The lasagna was creamy and delicious. The lasagna was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this place.

10/05/2025: Serata tranquilla in coppia. Pizza buona. Bassa, come nelle tipiche case del popolo fiorentine ma devo dire molto buona. Carica di sapore e di ingredienti. Peccato per i prezzi da ristorante gourmet. Impossibile pensare di pagare una maialona 14,5€ o un antipasto toscano 13€. A ponte a Ema manca una pizzeria, a prezzi medi sarebbe sicuramente stata un’opzione per la routine ma così è difficile. Valuteremo se tornarci.
