Did not try the food or wine here on account of the immediately poor attitude we received. Very unfriendly. 01/07/2025: During a business trip, passing through the area, I happened to stop at the Donnini restaurant during a quick lunch break, together with a colleague. Personally, when I can have lunch in a restaurant, I love the almost family atmosphere that you breathe, and the fact of being able to taste traditional dishes. This restaurant fully met my expectations: I found a welcoming environment, excellent food and a courteous and rapid service. Only two less positive notes: first of all, the background music (I think it was a kind of bossa nova), seemed inconsistent with the restaurant environment, where in my opinion only space should be given to dialogue between diners. Secondly, I found the price of €76 for two people slightly too high, based on what we ate and the fact that it was a business lunch. I considered the appetizer and dessert a little too expensive, especially, and I think that a price under €70 would have been more fair. In short, this does not take anything away from the value of this trattoria, which I recommend to anyone who is in the area. I myself would go back again.

10/06/2025: We vonden het bij ons eerste bezoek heel lekker (filetto di manzo en spaghetti alle vongole), dus keerden we de volgende dag terug voor de osso bucco: top!! Alles heel verzorgd en vlotte, vriendelijke bediening. En het redtaurant is aangenaam gekoeld. Een mooie herinnering aan ons verblijf in Firenze!
