28/11/2024: We stayed there for one night in early November 2024 as a stopover. I had booked the room in advance via email in Italian (you want to be polite, and Google Translate makes it possible), and we wanted to stay there again on our return trip (see below for what happened). I had also made a reservation in advance. The room was okay (fairly spartan furnishings), the bed comfortable, but that was it. The location was in the countryside, but I've seen nicer, green surroundings there. It might be different in the summer. Since we only stayed one night, it didn't matter. Communication with the owners was very difficult, as no one spoke a word of English. My few words of Italian were just enough. Dinner was okay, but nothing special. Breakfast wasn't geared toward international guests. You had a choice between "sweet" and "savory": "sweet" gave you three pieces of cake. The savory option consisted of a ham/salami plate with a very small piece of cheese and white bread. Only upon request was a piece of butter added. No honey, no ricotta, no jam – nothing. You could almost assume that international guests either don't come here or the owners simply didn't care. I don't know what the great Tripadvisor reviews are for... We didn't get a second night on our return trip because they "forgot" about us! When we arrived at around 6:30 p.m., everything was dark. When I called, I tried to explain it to her with my few words of Italian. Then she must have remembered – and just hung up!! There was no apology to this day! Something like this has never happened to me before – unbelievable!

15/11/2024: The starters are good, fresh therefore the ricotta is excellent. The homemade pasta well made, we took a trio of first courses. The ricotta and spinach ravioli and the wild boar ribbons are excellent. They had forgotten to put the sauce in the potato tortelli, they were made with red oil. First flaw. We took the mixed roast as a second course: the rosticciana and sausage were good, while the sliced ​​meat was inedible due to how tough it was. The wine was almost gone, it gave heartburn. For the lunch it was, the bill was too high. For that price I ate and drank much better elsewhere. Starters.... 5 ⭐️ First courses.... 4 ⭐️ Second... 3 ⭐️ Wine.... 1 ⭐️ Account.... 1 ⭐️

05/04/2025: Outside there are tables where you can enjoy an excellent coffee overlooking the square of Impruneta, inside there are comfortable sofas for the colder days. The sweet and savory dishes are good. Friendly bartenders.

13/01/2025: We went on a tour from Florence that brought us to this lovely restaurant. They brought us several dishes and wine. Afterward, we were lead to a gorgeous spot overlooking a vineyard. We were able to sample various types of wine and oil and were able to make purchases to be sent home. It was expensive but a really nice way to get have an edible souvenir and gifts that we wouldn’t have to carry with us for the rest of the trip. Delicious place we hope to return to!

16/11/2024: Al llegar al "Conventino a Marignolle", fuimos recibidos por el maestro en un entorno exclusivo repleto de historia. Una hermosa mesa se puso para nosotros al lado de una gran chimenea del siglo XVI. La carta de vinos era excelente, y el menú estaba meticulosamente cuidado en cada detalle. Una vez que decidimos qué pedir, el maestro nos recomendó un vino tinto excelente para maridar con nuestra comida... el resultado fue excepcional. El menú era delicioso, y tenía una carne de filete que era absolutamente excelente! Todo era simplemente perfecto: atención al detalle, servicio y comida... PERFECTO. La relación calidad-precio es simplemente EXCELENTE. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante para una experiencia gourmet excepcional en la Toscana

21/02/2025: We went for lunch today 21/02/2025, and thanks to a beautiful sunny day, we were at the tables outside, the location is beautiful, we started with a seafood salad as an appetizer, (divided into 2 because we are not big eaters) it was very good and enriched with thinly sliced ​​vegetables, then we continued with cod with turnips, (delicate, under the light almost natural batter) a generous mixed fried dish with chips , very tender and tasty, all accompanied with 2 glasses of sparkling wine, and 2 bottles of water, last but not least a tiramisu...which is also good for the soul, 2 coffees. For the sum of €68 the value for money is perfect, 5/5
