28/09/2025: We waited an hour for our food. One of us was served half an hour before the others. For €15, we got three small, dry pieces of fish. However, the organic Chianti wine was very good. The server was very pleasant. We didn't order dessert.

02/10/2025: Today I stopped at this pizzeria with a group of 70 people. The pizza was very tasty, but the efficient service for such a large group deserves praise. Good logistics and excellent communication with the staff. I recommend it for large groups.

18/09/2025: I'm truly sorry to give such a negative review, because in the end, the pizza is very good, probably the best in the Vingone area. But you call and ask for takeout, saying, "Tell me what time you can." You show up at that time, and the order hadn't even been written down. In fact, they ask me what I ordered, and then they tell the pizza chef. They give you a 5/10 and it's ready... 20, 30, 40 minutes pass... no one takes you into consideration. Your order has been lost again. Unfortunately, some will say it's a coincidence... but no, because the same thing happened twice a few years ago, which made me put a cross on the pizzeria. After years, they tell me the management has improved and the pizza is good. I'm sorry that the situation is still the same... and this time I didn't even get to try the pizza because at 10 PM, after a 50-minute wait, I went for an ice cream to pass the time. I'm sorry... this time it's a definitive cross.

21/09/2025: About a 40-minute drive from Florence, via Bagno a Ripoli, San Donato in Collina, Torri di Rignano sull'Arno. Beautiful countryside, still summery sunshine, magnificent light, hills covered in olive groves, vineyards laden with grapes ready for an exceptional vintage, clear roads, relaxing views. Pampurio is essentially a grocery store, but also a trattoria-restaurant open for lunch. Closed on Tuesdays. Tuscan cuisine, with some pleasant variations, well-presented menu. Prices are more than reasonable (the steak, for example, is €40/kg), the atmosphere is usually crowded, perhaps not a declaration of love (but that's not necessarily the case); fast service, half portions are available (full portions are more than generous). Easy-to-digest food (a not insignificant plus), and allergy-friendly (please declare). Reservations are recommended on Saturdays and Sundays. --- If you want to take some time to digest, and if it's a Saturday with no traffic, head towards Troghi and Figline Valdarno, returning to Florence via San Polo in Chianti or Greve. A relaxing drive through green villages and towns, perhaps even stopping for a stroll in search of porcini mushrooms, up towards the first chestnut woods—350 meters above sea level—now, as they say in the local dialect, the "second batch" should already be underway even at these latitudes (to enjoy the view of the cyclamen, however, you'll have to wait a little longer). NB: The photo of the porcini mushrooms shown here is indicative: these were found by my friend Sergio, an 85-year-old mushroom hunter from Upper Lake Como, in the Pianello area and the surrounding mountains.

31/08/2025: A sure thing if you want a good Neapolitan pizza. It's a shame, though, that over the years this place has gone downhill: management, wait times, and wait staff (who took orders without pen and paper and obviously got our order wrong). We ordered two pizzas and two croquettes for an appetizer. After 30 minutes, my pizza arrived, and after another 10, my partner's (let me start by saying the place was half-empty). The croquettes were brought to us only after I urged the waitress, and what's more, one piece was missing. When it came time for the bill, partly to make up for the various oversights, we were offered a limoncello that had never even seen a lemon tree from afar. Honestly, when Roberto or Raffaele were running the place, these things never happened, and so I think that after 10 years as your customer, the time has come for a change... what a shame.

21/08/2025: Nice place inside. Very friendly waitresses. The free appetizer is delicious! They have pizzas with whole wheat dough or with ancient seeds, gluten-free, and multi-grain gluten-free options for an additional €2. Vegan and lactose-free mozzarella is also available for an additional €2. A place open to all needs and tastes!

30/10/2025: I am a regular customer of Acqua Matta, I always find it good and I have never had any problems but last night yes, when asked to pay with Edenred vouchers (a service that the restaurant says it offers) the waitress, a young girl with short hair, rudely refused to let us pay with the vouchers because she no longer had the POS available to do so, so I and the other members of the dinner party adapted to paying normally so as not to create inconvenience, but I know for sure that the restaurant takes them because I had already used them other times, I invite the staff to review the methods of using the vouchers which are perhaps not clear and finally to guarantee the service (which I repeat they offer) until the restaurant closes.

02/10/2025: I always go there when I'm in the area. They serve pizza, fish, and meat for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, they always have main courses, either meat or seafood, which are always delicious and come in generous portions.

19/09/2025: The staff was excellent. They really made our trip memorable. It makes a difference people’s passion shines through. Mirco, for example, we will never forget for his joyful demeanor and positive impact he had on our stay in Florence. He had great suggestions for wineries to see in the Tuscan area as well.

11/07/2025: This was the third time staying a week at the Hotel Lungarno Florence, we were fortunate to get a room with a balcony and loved sitting outside after dinner for coffee and dessert. The Lungarno is the most Magnificent Hotel in all of Florence, one block to the Ponte Vecchio, convenient to everything, within walking distance to the Duomo, Michael Angelo's David and even a Laundry a half block away. The Rooms are quite large and beds are extremely comfortable, The towels are plush, the sheets feel like Egyptian Cotton, the Shampoos and Conditioners provided are top brands. It is apparent that the hotel staff takes great pride in the care and upkeep of the hotel and that Management spares no expense to accommodate their guests. The Staff graciously assisted with opening my wife's luggage (the lock was tampered with by ITA airline staff which jammed something into the lock to try to pry it open but failed). The Breakfast Buffet included all of our favorites dishes and drinks including fresh squeezed Blood Orange Juice and was enough to carry us through the days of climbing the Duomo Tower, visiting museums and touring the city. The Hotel is 5 star, the hotel staff are professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. We did not feel like guests of the hotel, we felt like we were part of their family.

11/10/2025: Been here a number of times always good. Went back for my birthday and was very disappointed starter came was cold and they took it back and microwaved it. Not good sent back. Main was ok not as good as previous. Attention to customers seemed lacking very disappointed as loved this place before. Shame

11/09/2025: We were there to eat at noon,.m'y girlfriend took a ramen and it was great. I took the kaarage Dish and for nearly 20€ there wasnt that much to eat, a few (good) chicken wings and a very small portion of salad and rice. My only concern was the quantity/price ratio, everything else was good.

23/05/2025: I live in Markham, Canada - where some of the world’s finest Asian cuisine is; and this restaurant is absolutely authentic in its food. It was a lovely change of cuisine to visit Italy and get a solid ramen that tasted so original. Had the set ramen menu with the gyoza, spicy kimchi ramen, and a Japanese cheesecake to finish. All delicious through and through, highly recommended.
