19/07/2024: I recently dined at Carro Matto in Florence, and it was an amazing experience. The salad and sandwiches were fresh and delicious, and the Aperol spritzes were perfect. The service was absolutely stunning – attentive, friendly, and professional. It’s easily one of the best restaurants in Florence. I highly recommend Carro Matto for anyone looking for a delightful meal and exceptional service.

10/08/2024: È sempre un piacere mangiare all’osteria! I piatti sono buonissimi, dagli antipasti ai dolci fatti in casa (crostate pazzesche). Meravigliosa la selezione di formaggi come antipasto! Il menù propone piatti classici della cucina toscana ma viene aggiornato continuamente usando prodotti di stagione e prodotti locali. Il personale è preparato e sempre accogliente. In estate bellissima l’atmosfera con i tavolini all’aperto. Consiglio assolutamente di provare questo ristorante!

The red wine produced on site is also truly excellent.

29/06/2024: This is a lovely mom & pop restaurant that serves both locals and tourists who have managed to escape the crowded city center. The four of us walked into the restaurant jet lagged and starving. The server was so welcoming and attentive. We ordered various pastas as well as the risotto. It was the perfect introduction to Florentine cuisine.

The organization of the buffet was not exactly flawless as it was later than scheduled.
For the excellent quality and quantity.
The food in the dining room was too sweet for my taste.
The view and location are wonderful.
No parking problems using the olive groves.

26/08/2024: The pizzas were very good, with very thin dough. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. Great combinations - also with truffles.
Dessert was homemade and equally good, especially the semifreddo with amarettinis.
The waitresses were very friendly.
You sit comfortably in a gravel garden, unfortunately without a view and unfortunately at plastic tables.

20/08/2024: I chose this restaurant to have dinner with a colleague and I walked a few kilometers since it was open. Upon arrival I found a "closed for holidays" sign.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to report it on Google too?
