07/08/2025: We stopped here for a drink to get some respite from all the tourist walking! We weren’t disappointed, friendly service with lovely drinks. Excellent view of Santa Croce and great for people watching. Would recommend 🥰

28/10/2025: My husband and I were in Florence for our anniversary and were lucky enough to obtain a lunch reservation at Saporium. Given the intimate nature of the seating, it seems the dinner reservations would go quickly. The atmosphere and staff are incredible. The pride they have in what they do can be seen in every careful and thoughtful action and interaction with each guest. The decor is relaxing and serene, as if in the garden the delicious meals are being prepared from. Everyone was incredibly attentive and the pace of meal was completely on point. We have been to Michelin star restaurants across the US and Italy, I have to say I was shocked that they don’t have more Michelin stars with how delectable the food is. Saporium is only rivaled in my opinion by Eric Ripert’s La Bernardin. We tried the chefs tasting menu, which was a cross amongst their other tasting menu options. Every course was as delicious as the last, not one of our ten courses disappointed. The flavors were perfectly harmonized and danced across our taste buds with every new bite. We could have stayed for hours, continuing to be treated to this culinary gift. We will be back to Florence and most certainly back to Saporium Firenze as we cannot wait to try a dinner service!

22/10/2025: Wife and I came here while in Florence for a week and this was by far the worst meal I had. We pad 660 euro for the 10 course tasting menu and annoyingly was pitched an upgrade for caviar which happen to be the best part of the meal. To start we walk in and the host who barely could hear as he whispered sat us at our table. We then sat there for about 5 mins then they ask us to go to the bar which you have to go outside and in another door to get 3 drinks that were mediocre at best. Finally after sweating at the bar lounge that take us back outside and sit us at our table again. Then proceeded to sale pitch us caviar which I expected to be apart of the experience at 215 per person. We agree without regret as it was the what part of this experience.we even meet the Chef and he was there for the first dish to come out. The entire meal we were literally sweating because the restaurant was so hot that we were using our water glasses to cool us down . We then get served our first dish. Was a solid 7.5 out 10. Well following that not a single thing was good. Literally every dish was disappointing and nothing went together. We couldn’t hear a single thing they told us about the dishes so after 3 dishes and asking them to repeat themselves we gave up and just took it as is. The waiters literally whispered to you . They were all nice and polite but it drove us crazy. So anyways we keep getting dishes and nit a single thing was what you expected from a Michelin star restaurant. One dish still stands out and not in a good way it was 3 pastas with a mussel on top of each. Absolutely terrible. The mussels were dry and rubbery. I couldn’t even eat em. I spit the one I ate out and let the servers take it. When I told em how I felt they argued and seemed annoyed . And my wife felt exactly the same about the dish . 0-10. Got few more dishes that I can’t remember that’s how little awe they gave to arrive to the final dish. A horrible cut of steak that had fat that wasn’t edible on it and no flavor. Was extremely chewy. Not what you’d expect. We didn’t finish this dish either . The entire experience was such a let down as this was our fist Michelin star dinner and nothing was good. The united flights food stood out more than any dish we received. My wife emailed them and pretty much was told that our opinion doesn’t matter. I won’t ever recommend a single person here and would love to be refunded if possible. This was the worst food we had in our entire 9 days in Italy without a doubt . The restaurant was beautiful and being able to watch the cooks was awesome but the food itself was the biggest let down I’ve ever experienced in a high quality restaurant.

16/09/2025: This is maybe even the best restaurant i have ever been to. Quality is 10/10, food + desert the best around Florence. Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. Super nice staff, location, vibe + you can buy really good wine for a great price. We will br bqck for sure 😍😍😍😍

09/09/2025: My husband and I just had the amazing pleasure of getting married at Castello del Trebbio with our wedding dinner at La Sosta del Gusto. Maurizio, the restaurant manager, is such a kind soul. Giuliana is a legend with the best energy. Sabrina was a delight. And the rest of their staff was a blessing. I looked forward to seeing them so much each day, and am so appreciative of the service that they provided. It was truly best in class. From the moment we met them during our trial, we were taken care of. In fact, Guiliana even helped entertain our niece so that my sister and her husband could enjoy their trial meal as well. The food during the weekend was impeccable – even better than I could have expected, from start to finish. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was elegant. I cannot compliment this team enough for their attention to detail and for truly helping make this weekend the most special experience for everyone. Again, if you are even reading reviews for this venue, you’ve found it. I will never forget the experience we had, but maybe more special to me are the people who helped bring it to life. I will never forget them and hope that I can see them all again one day. With immense gratitude, thank you for everything.

21/06/2025: La Trattoria Il Giardino è una vera istituzione a Firenze, un angolo di autenticità dove tradizione e calore si incontrano in ogni dettaglio. A rendere tutto ancora più speciale c’è Manlio, il gestore: accogliente, generoso, sempre pronto a raccontarti con passione ogni piatto e a farti sentire come un amico di vecchia data. Il menù è un inno alla cucina toscana: lo stracotto é morbido, saporito, cotto lentamente come vuole la tradizione. I pici al ragù’ sono un capolavoro, mentre la fiorentina è semplicemente perfetta: tenera, succosa e cotta alla perfezione. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, rigorosamente toscani, con proposte che esaltano ogni piatto. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è più che onesto, considerando l’eccellenza dei prodotti e l’esperienza complessiva. L’ambiente è curato ma informale, perfetto per una cena tra amici, in famiglia o anche per un’occasione romantica. Il servizio è rapido, attento e sempre con il sorriso. Chi cerca la vera cucina fiorentina, con porzioni generose, ingredienti di qualità e un’accoglienza sincera, non può non passare da Il Giardino. Grazie Manlio, tornerò presto. E porterò rinforzi!

14/10/2025: What a beautiful restaurant, unfortunately the service was horrible and the food was less than average. From the time we entered the restaurant until we left, we felt like we were a nuisance. The hostess was rude, the wait staff was inattentive, and the food was disappointing. After reading so many good reviews it was a very disappointing experience!

30/08/2025: Nice restaurant with ample parking. The menu features both meat and fish. The dishes are generous and of good quality. The staff is friendly. I think the tables for four are a bit small.

08/10/2025: Buonosera, My friends and I dined at Ganzo (08 October 25). Our table of four had a very NICE variety for dinner. The FAVES were: - the Pork Belly dish - the Sliced Cheese Of course, the Wine! ❤️🍷❤️ We were warmly welcomed, received the "instructions" for dining as well as received very attentive support for our Waiter, Peppe. The experience was lovely, the atmosphere was cozy, vibrant. A side note, the music genre was Great! We shared that two of us are attending the University. We had a good exchange of information flow. After dinner, I asked a few more questions about the restaurant to another Staff member, Candice. She graciously showed me all the areas and even introduced me to the Chef. The other Staff members were equally Wonderful! Overall, I'd definitely recommend! I look forward to returning. Bravo to the Chef and Staff! Grazie, Ciao! 😁 I tried to edit the pricing information, but it didn't change. Per person cost was €10.

17/09/2025: We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant in Scarperia. We were visiting from the United States, my cousin Giuseppe is a friend of the owner. What a wonderful meal, we had with ravioli and a delicious Bolognese sauce. We sat outside, the service was wonderful and the smiles by the owner and the waitress were delightful. Thank you, Luca. It was nice to meet you.

26/08/2025: We loved our stay and hope to be back. The warm staff and attention to detail were next level, and the hotel itself is stunning. Breakfast in the square with a view of the beautiful white & green church was the perfect start to our day. Grazie mille to the team!

19/09/2025: Beat pizza I have had so far on my holiday in Italy. It was very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. My wife had a carbonara pasta and that too was excellent. Thanks to the lady running the store, she was very friendly and helpful and spoke to us in English. Highly recommend

25/09/2025: What an experience to be here. The ride towards the place is at first very rocky and shaky. But boy, the view and rooms make up for it. Havent seen such a great view, as at this place. The pool is great, service is wonderful and the restaurant services great breakfast and dinner.
