10/03/2024: Absolutes. A fish dinner with flavors that are not found in Viareggio or old Taranto... Really good. Ante is a volcano of proposals. The theme evening formula is perfect: they don't go crazy, they manage to be two and offer a range of irresistible tastes. The setting of the place is a little out of context, but I think they found it that way. Well done, still good!

29/01/2024: We remember the chef and Annalisa from their time in Raggiolo. The Chalet serves wonderful food with kindness and attention to every detail. We ate a fixed price menu which was very reasonable and delicious !

24/07/2024: Fabrizio and his mother, as well as the whole family, offer a warm and very friendly welcome. They are truly dedicated to the quality of your stay. The place is beautiful, very quiet and the rooms are spacious. The place is accessible by train and bus. Even when the restaurant is closed, options are within walking distance. I recommend without reservation!

17/08/2024: We live just a few hundred meters away in the magnificent Palazzo Villa Scorzi. The restaurant is an absolute insider tip for regional and high-quality cuisine. We have been there several times during our holiday and found all the dishes to be excellent. When the weather is nice you can sit in the wonderful shade in the garden. The service really goes above and beyond and is very friendly. We'll definitely be back. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio is more than good.

17/08/2024: The food is good, the table service is fast with friendly and affable waiters, the prices are fair The only flaw is the noisiness of the place and the external space also optimized with tables and covers in case of rain, which took away the charm of the open green space where you can get some air and freshen up

16/06/2024: As a reviewer I don't often give one star. Too bad we can't give less. Outdoor aperitif for the 50th birthday of a dear friend, 25 customers plus 5 children. 15 euros for the first drink, 5 euros for the next one for a disastrous little aperitif. 🫢🫢 Approximate service, no music (we ended up bringing a Bluetooth speaker from home), a few chips and peanuts, a dozen margherita pizzas and (empty) flatbreads. How can you have more drinks on an empty stomach like that? I got 2 pieces of Margherita and that's it, but some even less. not even the worst restaurateur realizes that if he gives something to eat, maybe he risks earning more money🤨 you simply can't drink more on a completely empty stomach. Basically everything a restaurateur has to do to gain negative publicity. Are we the 'poor guys' or are we just there to look for an unlikely business? Complete cross, probably placed by foreigners who want to be fleeced. It's a shame, I know the owner, I never expected such hospitality. I really don't recommend it to anyone. Places like this deserve to be managed better.

07/08/2024: It is a nice place, but not for the price, at least for lunch. The venue is cozy and intimate, and it seems like it's a one-man show, where the owner does everything. He's really welcoming and seems to be having fun. However, everything is served in a cardboard/paper plate which simply doesn't look professional. We didn't want to judge the food solely by it, but if there's no dishwasher, you bet there's no kitchen. Everything was reheated. It wasn't bad at all, it was good, my truffle pasta was a bit oily, but that's normal when you reheat sauces. Even if the owner says the pasta is prepared by the "best restaurants in Florence", it is still just microwave pasta, which is unacceptable for the price, even in a bistro. I've paid the same in fancy-ish trattorias next to the cathedral. Maybe it's different if you're looking for wine and meat boards, since those are freshly cut by the owner. But if you're looking for pasta, the price is simply not worth it. If it was cheaper, it'd be a great place. Again, the owner is very nice and quick and it really seems like he's doing his best.

06/08/2024: I can hardly find the words to convey what a fantastic restaurant this is. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would. My husband and I stayed nearby and initially booked an evening meal for convenience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning view. The location is perfect, allowing us to watch the sun set over a beautiful meal. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and perfectly blended to create exquisite flavors. The linguine with anchovies and crispy breadcrumbs was the standout dish for me—truly unforgettable. To top off the amazing food, the hospitality was exceptional. The two female waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their English was excellent. We enjoyed our time so much that we returned multiple times during our stay. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so special. This experience left a lasting impression on us, and we hope to be back again one day.
