05/04/2025: I came last year for lunch, excellent food, then today I come back to have just 2 correct coffees, and I pay €5.00 for them!!! had it been a good coffee and we had been in Milan, I would have understood!!! furthermore, the staff was very annoyed when they pointed out that the prices were worth complaining about!!

09/03/2025: Locale piccolo ma molto accogliente, servizio e cucina ottimi; ottima scelta e qualità prezzo dei vini, prima di lasciare questa recensione sono stato al locale tre volte , la prima provando solo aperitivo con tagliere compreso nel prezzo, la qualità e quantità del tagliere (compreso nel prezzo dei cocktail/vino) ottima rispetto alla media degli aperitivi della zona La seconda volta degustazione di secondi ( più il tagliere che è sempre compreso) per quanto mi riguarda la spesa è perfettamente adeguata alla qualità di quello che ho bevuto e mangiato e alla soddisfazione provata. La terza volta stessa cosa della seconda ma ho aggiunto l’assaggio di uno dei primi piatti offerti e L mia opinione è rimasta la stessa o addirittura migliorata. In poche parole è un posto che consiglierei a chiunque cerchi un aperitivo/ apericena in cui servizio, drink, e cibo riescano a soddisfare qualità, quantità e giusto prezzo

03/03/2025: Very nice place for an aperitivo and for a quick meal… the food menu is easy and simple but there is a wide choice of drinks. Super nice atmosphere and good service to boot… open till late I reccommend it for both a romantic or a casual visit.

24/02/2025: Liver is a complicated dish. Eating it well and digesting it without difficulty is the litmus test for a restaurant that ventures into typical Italian poor cuisine. Here at Altana there is a 10-rated veal liver on the menu. Cooked with love and skills handed down from grandmother to granddaughter. With onions and lemon (secret ingredient to make the liver taste at its maximum splendor). At this point it is superfluous to evaluate the quality/price ratio because you would pay double what it cost for a dish like this. Well done. 02/02/2025: Locale accogliente e personale gentilissimo.Che dire del cibo? Pasta fatta in casa condita con sughi particolarmente gustosi,abbondanti ed espressi. Il filetto al pepe verde è morbido e sfizioso,accompagnato da contorni altrettanto accurati. Porzioni abbondanti a prezzi contenuti. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

23/02/2025: Let me join those honest and genuine food lovers who have given Il Casaero 5.0. O don’t give it a 6 because it’s not in the chart! Unexpected, authentic, cozy, innovative and delicious. We loved every second of our lunch there and we liked it so much, we will make room in our schedule to return there before we fly back home. Amazing!

26/02/2025: I had seafood spaghetti and vegetable soups The soup has rich flavour and it tasted quite good. However the spaghetti is fishy and I’m not sure why the cream base looks like this and it’s fishy too

07/02/2025: Questo piccolo locale si trova proprio di fronte a palazzo Pitti , accogliente e ben curato. Pur essendo entrate intorno alle 14 e 30 non ci sono state restrizioni sul menù. 3 hamburger con patatine, una porzione di cannelloni spinaci e ricotta ( crespelle in realtà) 2 bottiglie di acqua naturale, 2 caffè e 4 coperti 80 Euro. Piatti abbondanti e di qualità

06/04/2025: We have been going there for lunch or dinner for over 20 years and it is like being at home, a family environment with excellent and varied dishes, above average portions (for my taste ;) and good taste. Very kind and attentive staff for every preference. Certainly to be recommended. (2025) Since the change of management, we have returned twice and I must say that the dishes ordered are very good and tasty, on the other hand the owner is the same as the "Grande Rustichella" and it is a guarantee; kind and attentive staff, available for clarification. Very varied menu of both sea and land, for next time I'll try the latter which I prefer. The cost for the seafood menu is slightly higher than average but the quality is perceived with every taste; The grouper ravioli and the grilled sea bass are very tasty, as are the vegetables. The black cherry sorbet was a nice surprise. Until next time.
