08/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, nestled among the cool chestnut trees of Lunigiana. The museum and all the activities they host throughout the year are interesting. The Amaro del Partigiano liqueur is also excellent, and I never miss the opportunity to buy it. But the highlight of the place is the fantastic Fino al Cuore della Rivolta Festival, held in August. This year, the program of both debates and concerts was truly superb. Congratulations to all the volunteers who work there. The only downside: the long waits, especially at the social lunches.

02/09/2025: I spent two days there during the 2025 Festival della Resistenza. The archives are accessible through a multimedia experience. A truly wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, interesting talks, and quality live music, all free of charge. The volunteers also prepare excellent food in the evenings, and there's a free camping area. I'll definitely be back in 2026.

26/09/2025: Spent two days in Gambassi Terme and had two delicious meals there. A lovely, atmospheric restaurant with a fantastic chef and pizza maker. We didn't make reservations either time, but luckily we were able to find a table. Both times, it was busy with both locals and tourists. Perhaps there could have been a few more waiters, but the wait wasn't unpleasant and wasn't too long. The menu is delicious and diverse, and definitely not expensive.

23/09/2025: A prime example of a restaurant seemingly ruined by its own success... on a weekday evening, the owner was serving with just one other person, but he let the place fill up completely. The result: angry customers who had to wait too long for their food, dissatisfied customers because the food wasn't good, customers who walked away laughing because they thought it was a joke, and a grumpy owner who couldn't devote any time or attention to his customers. The food is okay. The wild boar sauce was incredibly salty. The location is nice, and the seating is beautiful and relaxing.

07/09/2025: Alternative and simple dishes, tasty and healthy. A quiet and intimate place with friendly and helpful owners. Relaxed atmosphere in the center of town. Excellent fruit and vegetable juices and a wide selection of products for lunch or dinner.

09/08/2025: Very tasty vegan and gluten free crepes, friendly staff.

16/09/2025: The risotto with seafood wasn’t full of flavor, it was edible. The service was too slow, compared to every other trattoria I visited in the Florence and Rome

16/09/2025: The restaurant has potential, but the service could be improved. There were too few waiters for the number of guests, which made the experience feel a bit unorganized. Complimentary bread was offered to some tables but not to others, which seemed inconsistent. The salad took about 15 minutes to arrive, and the main dish came after 40 minutes. The food itself was fine, but the flavors were rather average and could be more refined.

20/09/2025: A good pizzeria that also hosts some musical events. The place is tiny but well-kept and welcoming in its own way, and above all, clean. The pizzas are delicious and easy to digest, with a light dough, and the chefs are willing to make them thinner or more crusty upon request. The waitresses are also very kind and hardworking. This evening I even left something there, and they were kind enough to call. I highly recommend it!

25/09/2025: Worst meal we’ve had in our lives. Couldn’t eat it. The place was empty, and they asked if we had a reservation, when we said no they made a face and hesitated before seating us. Horrible experience for our first meal while visiting Florence.

09/10/2025: One of the best steaks we’ve had in years! We ordered a 1.5 kg Bistecca Fiorentina, which was more than enough for three people. It was incredibly tasty, and you could really feel the quality of the meat. They also have excellent local wines! We’ll definitely be back.

22/09/2025: We went to Nedo's for dinner. The freshest fish was recommended by Nedo. The atmosphere is casual and old-fashioned. Nedo and his wife make you smile and feel at home. Recommended for those who want substance over form... 👏👏👏👏👏

12/10/2025: The fish has been there forever, with eyes as white as ice. The only two lobsters look barely alive, but the prices? Jewelry-level prices. I really wonder what's going on in the owner's head.

25/08/2025: If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. Passing through after arriving on the ferry from Sardinia, we decided to try the Livorno-style cacciucco. We were greeted with a wonderful welcome, and the food was delicious. Excellent value for money, considering the quantity and, above all, the quality of the fish. Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Very nice location, on the beach! They have a lot of pastries for breakfast, even late in the morning (many others run out very early!). Pretty good pastries, probably delivered from outside, maybe some bakery or pastry shop. Average cappuccino. Prices slightly higher than in the area but they don't give a receipt... But be careful with customers who should all be treated the same way, even those passing by or who come less often than others. Word of mouth is also important!! Treat everyone well! Until this morning I had a good opinion of this place even though a few days ago I noticed that they raised the price of the spritz by not even giving two peanuts to accompany it but oh well... In the meantime they have adjusted the prices for the summer season.....something that many do and that I don't think is right. This morning I wanted to get two pastries for breakfast (there were few left) but a lady they knew heard what was left (because they were serving me) and not caring about me she asked and they gave her the last pastry I wanted MAKING UP that the lady was before me (instead she had finished a while ago!!). Among other things the manager and also the girl had terrible behavior... AH and as if that wasn't enough THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A RECEIPT!!! Among other things the pastries weren't even that good....You have to treat ALL customers properly and not just those you know.. I got two pastries for breakfast to take away after a year of not getting anything. Fast and courteous service. Good pastries: maybe slightly small but I think they get them and don't make them themselves.

10/09/2025: A lovely little restaurant by the sea in Partaccia. You can eat on the terrace for a magnificent sea view, or downstairs inside, or on the beach. Excellent and plentiful food, including exceptional fried calamari, shrimp, and vegetables. The staff is friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: Intimate and rustic atmosphere. We had whole-wheat orecchiette with zucchini and sausage, tagliolini with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, capers, and olives, pork tenderloin with figs and almonds, and octopus all'inferno. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly.

30/09/2025: After visiting the fascinating and legendary Fosdinovo Castle, we had lunch at this lovely restaurant located opposite the castle entrance. The local dishes were delicious. The atmosphere was themed around the castle, with its arches and stonework.
