25/04/2025: We were ripped off, having paid 70 euros for filtered water, 2 small sea bream, 2 side dishes and 2 coffees. Offensive!!

20/04/2025: Today on Easter day we came to the Veliero for lunch. Mrs. Katia and her daughter were kind as were all the staff. The food, all based on fish, starting from the starter, the two first courses and the fried food, was truly excellent. The environment is familiar. I recommend it.

01/12/2024: Cena tra amici, con servizio approssimativo, un menu’ risicato con cose dozzinali a dei prezzi assurdi, e con qualità mediocre….. se continuano così hanno vita commerciale breve, molto sopravvalutato.

01/12/2024: Lato positivo : la location, è molto bella, partendo dal viale alberato ed arrivando alla sala interna. Esternamente adesso non è disponibile ma, per quello che abbiamo potuto vedere ieri sera, sembra altrettanto bello. Lati negativi : 1) Il menù è molto limitato, una di noi 4 non trovava niente che la interessasse e si è dovuta arrangiare; 2) Il Cibo, arrivati alla degustazione, sinceramente nessun piatto era buono, diciamo che un paio erano passabili. Per esempio, abbiamo preso la Ribeye di Manzetta Prussiana, ci hanno presentato una braciola impiattata malissimo, senza niente di accompagnamento e già tagliata, con il risultato che è arrivata in un lago di sangue, veramente brutta a vedersi, inoltre abbastanza dura ed anche il sapore non era un granchè. Il lobster roll, era un panino inguardabile e non sapeva di niente, per non parlare dei primi, sia i tortellini sia il risotto, sinceramente "da ospedale"; 3) Rapporto qualità prezzo, assolutamente sproporzionato, prezzi altissimi per come abbiamo mangiato, non puoi pensare che basti un bel posto per "sparare" così in alto, anche il prezzo minimo dei vini era di 30,00 euro, ed ho visto prodotti abbastanza regolari, proposti a prezzi molto + bassi in altri locali. Il servizio è nella media, anche se c'è stato un piccolo malinteso sull'assaggio del vino ma ci può stare, i camerieri erano perlopiù sorridenti e puntuali. Ho dato una stella in più per la location, alla fine abbiamo speso molto (troppo), per godere davvero poco.

23/02/2025: Ambiente amichevole, servizio al tavolo preciso, veloce e con supplemento, ma l'ubicazione del locale merita. Qualità altissima delle materie prime, con cornetti di pasticceria e caffè di eccezionale aroma, Prezzi comprensibilmente adeguati alla qualità stessa. Proprietari attenti alla cura e al buon svolgimento del servizio. Collaboratori un po' distratti ma tutto sommato l'esperienza è stata ottima.

11/11/2024: When you are a large group, eager for a good coffee... after two days in Siena and the surrounding area, we realized that coffee is an art but not everyone is an artist. For me and my group it had become almost a mirage. Some had it burned and others shamefully watered it down. Finally, as soon as we exit the car park we are attracted by a strong smell of coffee. We look like kids attracted by grandma's dessert. As soon as we enter I ask "can you make 15 spectacular coffees?". The barista looks at me and starts serving his best coffee. We are all satisfied and happy to have enjoyed a proper coffee. Good, creamy, with an excellent aftertaste, dense and fragrant. The sugar test is largely passed because it remains on the surface and struggles to go down. A sign that the barista's hand, the mixture and the machine are synchronized. The 3 M trick as an old movie said. The staff is also spectacular and suggests some places to visit. In the following days we returned for other good coffees which did not disappoint us.

14/04/2025: Pretty trattoria in which you feel good. Very friendly welcome and service. Delicious and well-served dishes (delicious artichoke/parmesan salad as well as truffle pasta). Great choice of wine. We had a great evening!

02/05/2025: We have been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years, back then with parents as children, now with our own daughter and every visit is like coming home ❤ An absolute must visit during our Tuscany vacation. The restaurant is a family business and is lovingly run by Maurizio, his wife and their daughters. The drive to Sticciano is a bit winding and adventurous, but it is absolutely worth it! On the one hand, the view is simply breathtaking and the restaurant is lovely to sit in - the ambience is excellent! Now about the food: I can highly recommend the Crostini Misti as a starter! The paste is also excellent, we particularly liked the Gnocci ai Funghi and Gnocchi ai quattro Formaggi on our last visit. The pizza: I have eaten a lot of different pizzas in Italy and other countries. Maurizio's pizza IS and remains my number one favorite and the standard by which ALL other pizzas are measured. So far this pizza remains unmatched. The dough is thin and exactly how it should be - the cheese literally melts into the sauce, the topping is chosen just right, not too much, not too little - a dream! There won't be a visit to Tuscany where we don't stop by Maurizio. Greetings from Munich! ❤

04/01/2025: A common space where you can make new acquaintances and enjoy a drink with live music of all kinds in complete tranquility. The place offers the opportunity to perform and welcomes proposals from participants. The only indoor social center in Grosseto. For those from the area it won't be difficult to settle in. Very friendly staff and super respectful towards customers.

18/04/2025: Si tratta di una pizzeria rinomata a Livorno che consiglio se cercate un posto dove mangiare una buona pizza senza sorprese negative. L'impasto era leggero e gli ingredienti freschi. La cottura nel forno a legna ha aggiunto un buon sapore. In definitica si tratta di un'opzione solida in un ambiente cordiale ed informale. Un aspetto che ho particolarmente apprezzato è stato il prezzo, che ho trovato assolutamente onesto e in linea con la qualità offerta.

18/04/2025: Sono stato a cena con la mia compagna. Ambiente bello e tranquillo, ma responsabile di sala scortese in modo imbarazzante. Già al momento della prenotazione c’era stata un’ambiguità, ma abbiamo deciso di non farne un problema. Peccato che, arrivati in cassa per pagare, il cameriere si sia permesso – con tono acido – di rispondermi male. E dire che la serata era già partita male: • Tempi di attesa lunghissimi, nonostante ci fossero sì e no quattro tavoli in tutto il ristorante. • Un tagliere di affettati e formaggi talmente “leso” che con i soliti 16€ mi sarei comprato cinque confezioni diverse al supermercato. I “formaggi” erano tre micro-triangolini (letteralmente più piccoli del mignolo) di UN solo pecorino. • Il mezzo galletto era delle dimensioni di un pulcino. Ridicolo. • Gravissima la questione allergeni: la tartare viene servita con tre fette di pane abbrustolito sopra, ma nel menu non è segnalato l’allergene 1 (cereali). Sono celiaco. Non aggiungo altro. Gli allergeni DEVONO essere indicati. Punto. Peccato non avere le foto della cena per mostrare con che “ricchezza” siamo stati serviti. Tutto fumo e niente arrosto. Vi lascio però la foto dello scontrino esagerato
