06/04/2025: I went to eat a pizza for the first time with friends who had already frequented the place. The pizza dough was good but the toppings were terrible and in particular the fiordilatte which resembled a plasticized cheese. Another sore point were the desserts and in particular the creme brulee similar to a cooked omelette, even if badly, which tastes like egg. Reading the various positive comments I think it was just a big slip up.

19/04/2025: Sono stata con amici a mangiare paella e devo ammettere di essere stata davvero tanto piacevolmente colpita. Una delle migliori paelle di pesce che abbia mai mangiato ovunque, Spagna inclusa. Ottima anche la sangria di accompagnamento. Consiglio di prenotare in anticipo se volete provare entrambe, soprattutto se andate in grandi gruppi. Ho visto passare anche delle pizze che sembravano ottime quindi sicuramente tornerò per provarle e per provare il resto del menù.

18/04/2025: Siamo stati attratti dalla fama del locale per la sua paella, ma purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente. Il piatto era decisamente fuori standard: la consistenza era cremosa, quasi da risotto, con un uso eccessivo di zafferano, che copriva totalmente il sapore del pesce. Il riso non era adatto a questo tipo di preparazione, sicuramente e mancava completamente della classica crosticina sul fondo – segno che probabilmente non è stato cotto nella stessa padella in cui è stato servito, ma solo assemblato all’ultimo. Essere serviti in appena 15 minuti per un piatto che richiede tempo e tecnica lascia più di un dubbio sulla preparazione. Se la specialità della casa è davvero la paella, allora c’è qualcosa che non torna. Un ristorante specializzato dovrebbe offrire una preparazione diversa. Anche perché solo per la paella e la birra il conto è stato di 28 euro cadauno. Avrei speso volentieri qualcosa in più per un risultato diverso.

05/01/2025: Lots of choice of pizzas, those taken very good and digestible, excellent red beer, good desserts, fair price. The only problem: the room is small and when it is full the noise is really a lot, perhaps installing some sound-absorbing panels would be worth considering.

30/03/2025: Lots of choice of Tuscan specialities, we went in to buy some Tuscan oil, the attentive and kind staff let us taste the delicacies they offered and we left delighted and with a lot of extra food! Highly recommended

02/03/2025: Great location just a couple of minutes from the tower. Had a panini and coffee, which were amazing. Also got some truffle pesto to keep those Italian flavours going when we get home. Great little find

04/05/2025: We went back twice. Refined and elegant atmosphere with the right lights that create a very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food quality compared to an average price, but it's worth it. Pici, risotto, ravioli, octopus and cuttlefish very good. At dinner accompanied by a gentleman who played the piano, made everything much more elegant, very pleasant. Good service, fantastic welcome. In front of the Siena Eye Laser center..

19/04/2025: We were in doubt about whether to go in or not, but in the end we decided and we loved it, the staff was quite friendly and in general the atmosphere was very good, the pizza was too delicious and not heavy at all, which is appreciated, not to mention the tiramisu that the waiters recommended to us, of course we left with a very good taste in our mouths, thank you very much for everything

28/01/2025: A disaster, more than an hour in line to pick up a pizza that was ordered, unprofessional!!!!

14/01/2025: Pizzeria topchik. Very thin dough, airy crust and divine filling. I highly recommend stopping by. Small pizza is not so small. If you are not very hungry, it will be enough for 2 of them, if you are hungry, take a large one.

12/04/2025: Vraiment un super restaurant que je recommande si vous êtes de passage à Poggibonzi. Ce fût pour nous un des meilleurs en Toscane. C’est un restaurant familial qui mérite que l’on s’y attarde. On est servi par les gérants. Les produits sont bons et de qualité. Les plats sont bien présentés et faits avec soins. Nous avons pris les gnochetti, le peposo, du vin blanc et rouge, un tiramisù et une coupe de straciatella avec des fraises. Tout était très goutu. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et les gérants sont très gentils. Merci beaucoup !

14/10/2024: A lunch with friends during a weekend in the Bolgheri area. We couldn't have chosen a better place. A spectacular view, excellent food and local wines at much more than reasonable prices, as well as a remarkable new oil, with harvesting and pressing activities underway while we had lunch. We were a bit noisy, let's hope they welcome us back when we return, because we won't fail to stop by again.

06/01/2025: Locale semplice ma caldo e accogliente. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Cibo ottimo e abbondante. Una commensale vegetariana è rimasta contentissima dalla proposta del locale.. Pranzo in famiglia. Sicuramente torneremo

03/04/2025: In giro con una coppia di amici per le vie d Firenze ci imbattiamo in questo posticino molto carino e riservato subito dopo ponte vecchio direzione piazza pitti … tutto perfetto ambiente, personale soprattutto Alex e lo chef nonché proprietario ci hanno regalato una serata magica e piacevole come stare in famiglia ☺️ la carne era burro davvero… grazie di tutto torneremo e Straconsigliato!!!!!

30/03/2025: Rapporto qualità prezz. Caldamente consigliato i crostini come antipasto, i pici con il peposo e la ribollita. Ambiente accogliente e personale gentile e molto simpatico. Menzione speciale per il cameriere sempre con la battuta pronta, senza risultare invadente.
