01/06/2026: We ate there for lunch yesterday. The service was good because the staff were there, but the food was nothing special. Chips were soggy, reheated for hours, and soaked in oil. The fish was very poor, and the tuna sandwiches were even worse. We went because we remembered the pizza was good but the restaurant was awful. Not recommended.

31/12/2025: A well-maintained restaurant, easy access, lots of meat, and a wide variety of cured meats. This is a very greasy sandwich, not suitable for children. Definitely expensive, so check the prices carefully. Service is not very organized.

02/05/2026: Each time we visit Catania, we stop by The Great China Restaurant for dinner. Prices are affordable, portions are adequate and the food is very flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered: Hot and Sour Soup, soy noodles with pork, vegetable fried rice (add chicken), spring rolls and calamari.

Tonight, on the recommendation of friends, I went to this place with my dad and I have to say I really enjoyed it... welcoming, well-maintained, clean, and with a family atmosphere... the pizza was truly excellent, among the best I've ever had, crispy dough, top-quality ingredients. The service was also quick and very attentive and helpful... ample parking... I will definitely return to this place because I was super satisfied... also, a truly unique gem was the wonderful scent of night-blooming jasmine that makes everything even more pleasant... even the entire garden area was cared for down to the smallest detail... My heartfelt compliments for everything 😊

Delicious food. Total bill was 32 euros, with no details. Price for Pasta Norma: 8 or 9 euros with fresh pasta. Typical restaurant

04/06/2026: Etna Palace is the perfect choice if you're looking for a dream location to create wonderful memories of a special day. And it was our choice for the most important day of our lives. We contacted Chef Carmelo and the incredibly sweet Maria Rosa, who immediately welcomed us with kindness and affection, making us feel at home. Together, we chose the menu, the decorations, and every little detail. Everything was perfect even before we saw it; it's something that shines through and is immediately understood. But the real surprise came later, when the party began. Everything was better than we could have imagined or desired. The room seemed to be made of cotton candy, such is the delicacy and care taken in the decorations. Maria Rosa loves her job, and it shows: she transforms everything she touches into a jewel. The lunch was indescribable: abundant, imaginative, fragrant dishes (and hot, which is not a given!), masterfully prepared by the Chef. We celebrated our wedding on a beautiful day in late May, and despite the fear of the somewhat uncertain weather forecast, everything went perfectly. We want to thank everyone once again: Chef Carmelo, the wonderful Maria Rosa, all the dining room staff, and even those who worked behind the scenes to make our day unforgettable. The venue is simply stunning: pools, fountains, manicured lawns, and a dreamy atmosphere that left all our guests speechless. 14/02/2026: I bought the buckwheat bread; to call it awful would be a compliment, truly inedible. But what's really annoying about this shop is the habit, confirmed by other reviews, of not giving 20 or 30 cents in change! The ladies, whose cash registers are full, feel entitled to "round up" the already high price of their products, obviously always to their advantage. So, if I have to pay €4.70, the receipt is correct, but the 30 cents are not given. IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RIGHT TO GET CHANGE, AND WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK FOR IT! Unfortunately, it's worth noting the behavior of customers from Catania who, rather than appear, in their opinion, to be looked at as poor, prefer to make a whole different kind of change and then complain as soon as they leave. Good morning, I can't find the option to interact with your reply, so I'll continue here. I didn't ask the cashier why, because I only noticed it once I got into the car, where my friend was waiting in the double parking lot. When I pointed it out to her, she said the same thing had happened to her. I'll also quote a review of your bakery on Tripadvisor: "IT'S NOT DONE! The products are excellent, but I don't appreciate the fact that they arbitrarily round up the price. I was very disappointed by this behavior. I regularly buy bread, and not just that." 06/01/2026: The grilled fish left much to be desired, the veal steak looked inviting but was flavorless, and the pork shank was presentable and quite tender. The staff were kind and attentive, and attention to detail was needed for the aesthetics. The price was not in line with the quality.

25/12/2025: Friendly staff and fresh seafood with a nice beach view. The food took a while to come out, considering that there were only two tables with people, but it was definitely worth the wait. Would come here again!

11/06/2026: The coffee was good, but I was disappointed by the cannolo, which was almost sour and not very sweet, probably from the previous day.

07/06/2026: We've had breakfast a couple of times and the savoury pastry was always good. They serve good granita and the portions are quite generous generous. We particularly enjoyed the fragola granita :)
