24/08/2025: We had a great time. My boyfriend and I are celiacs and they took our problem seriously by avoiding contamination and paying attention to all our needs.

08/10/2025: We don't understand how this restaurant even operates. Our Uber driver recommended Antica, but it was the worst place we've ever been. The service was utterly incompetent – ​​no greeting, no smile, the waiter didn't even try to pretend he was interested. He bought us wine as if he were doing us a favor, dropped off the bill, and didn't say a word. The food was equally poor – the pizza was overly salty and greasy, the dough hadn't risen, the oysters tasteless. Dirty glasses, uncleaned tables. At the end, a scene straight out of a bad movie – the manager yells at the waiter in front of a customer at the register. Disaster. Never again Antica.

18/09/2025: Really nice place if you like steak. Some a bit different like zebra, crocodile or reindeer. The sicilian cow was great as were the sides.

07/09/2025: Absolutely EXCELLENT experience. 10/10. The meat was delicious, perfectly cooked, full of flavor. The deserts were so good, best cannoli we’ve ever had. Even the bread was fantastic. This quality meal would easily be triple the cost in the USA. But… I cannot comment enough on how excellent the service is here. The wait staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They work very hard, they frequently come to the table to ask how everything is. Our server, Andrea, went above and beyond to explain everything in English. They even let us sit at a table up on the terrace even though it was closed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. If I’m ever in this town in Sicily I will absolutely return.

08/10/2025: We didn't really have an idea of ​​what we ordered but knew it was for 2 people and something with fish in it.. a bit of language confusion, and we thought it was something without pasta.. But wait a minute, we got a lot of food.. it was the best we had on our entire holiday.. it gets our warmest recommendations. A big shame that we were the only guests for the 2-3 hours we sat there..

21/09/2025: Dining while being pampered by the waves just a few meters away is enchanting, but always having the honor of eating fish from a great restaurateur is priceless. I invite you to taste every dish recommended by the chef and enjoy your meal.

17/09/2025: Cute little place we stopped at for cannolis and got some souvenirs. I was able to buy some candy there that I had not had since I was a child and it made me so happy!

11/08/2025: Restaurant with a lovely setting and a beautiful view. A simple menu, only in Italian. Access is difficult and only possible by going downstairs. A warm welcome and friendly staff. Delicious food. Total bill was 32 euros, with no details. Price for Pasta Norma: 8 or 9 euros with fresh pasta. Typical restaurant

19/10/2025: The flavor of the dishes we enjoyed was sublime! Our taste buds were in overdrive! A Catania-style pasta dish that had the authentic family flavor, caponata, fried anchovies, sardines alla beccafico, and tuna with lemon sauce. And to top it all off, a cannoli with an amazing cream. All this in a family-friendly and authentic atmosphere. Congratulations to Chanty and her family for their work and their extraordinary ability to satisfy their customers. Top value for money. An experience to repeat.

14/10/2025: A small deduction for the forgotten caponata, and we actually had to get up and order inside because the service simply didn't pay us any attention. Friendly nonetheless. The food and atmosphere were fantastic!

20/08/2025: Nice and welcoming place. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered various pizzas, and with the sole exception of the Margherita, some were too thick and others were undercooked.

10/08/2025: When you know the owners but didn't know they were the owners? Well, it happened to me 🙈🤭🤣😍 The name of the place had intrigued my husband for a while, and last night we finally decided to go. What can I say: quality, professionalism, very kind and very fast staff, focaccias that were nothing short of spectacular, quality ingredients, light, thin, soft but crunchy at the same time, in short, wonderful. For my daughter we had a slice of delicious pizza, but they also bring platters with several slices of pizza... 5-star review, from the moment we took the first bite, and without being biased I told those at the table that I would write many positive things, without knowing that I knew the owners🤭 but I didn't know that the place was theirs, so well done guys, fully deserved review... we will be back with great pleasure.

27/09/2025: Dinner with friends, we had different dishes, everything was very good and served at the right time, well-kept garden, nice music, very friendly staff.

20/09/2025: €31 for two Margherita pizzas and a pistachio pizza to go. The pizza was good. It's shocking that I had to wait 10 minutes with three different people coming and going, one after the other, for a receipt, at my request. All this, along with an embarrassing attempt to provide me with a printout of my order... absurd!

13/10/2025: If you go to Aci Castello, you can't miss this place. Good food, a splendid view, and lots of friendly service. Recommended.

12/10/2025: A restaurant with a nice terrace/"winter garden" where many locals dine. Very tasty dishes and a wide selection. We were greeted politely, got a table right away, and ordered. The waitress, however, was quite rude; first, she completely messed up our order. When we pointed this out to her (really trying to be very polite), she got upset and then ignored us for the rest of the evening. Another gentleman tried to smooth things over, but we don't really understand respectful behavior. Besides, the restaurant was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation.
