09/01/2026: My last experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. Although the first order was delivered quickly and the food was quite good, we were made to wait an hour and a half for the second order, and the food arrived cold, a sign that it had been ready for a while. Furthermore, we were ignored by the waiters, and when I asked to order a second time, I was told they had to give priority to others who hadn't eaten. I understand the confusion on a Saturday night, but this is unacceptable for a much-vaunted "all you can eat" restaurant, where service should be guaranteed. Finally, the much-hyped XXL schnitzel was dry, almost like a piece of plywood. A decidedly negative experience. Only go during the week; perhaps they treat you better.

05/01/2026: I ate badly and paid a lot. The meat was terrible quality, especially the meatballs. Not to mention all the fried food, inedible, full of oil and salt.

The value for money is excellent, and credit cards are welcome. Of course, there's a good selection of beers and soft drinks, but no wine. The only dessert is pizza dough, which is fried and served with Nutella and powdered sugar. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: Excellent café for sweet and savory breakfasts. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. Table service is available, either sit-down or served.

05/03/2026: Unfortunately, it's not the quality of the food that has changed recently, but the way it's made. Meanwhile, they've downsized everything. The small croissants have become tiny, including the ravioli and everything small. Today, a white roll with only the smell of cream. Like everything else. Only dough and no cream. The diner is very poor in everything. Before, they were full and well-made. I hope it's just a problem with the pastry chef because the owners are very good, polite, and clean. Everything is shining. And we all have a good time.

01/03/2026: I visited this pizzeria last night and was impressed. The pizza dough is truly incredible: light, well-leavened, and made with top-quality ingredients. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the wait was minimal even though it was packed. We'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: We had lunch here after visiting Mount Etna, and we were immediately greeted by a warm and genuine welcome from the owner and Luca, the restaurant manager. Decorated in Sicilian style, with meticulous attention to detail, the cuisine is traditional yet sophisticated. You can tell the dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients, from the appetizers to the first and second courses. Even the dessert was delicious...perfectly balanced flavors. An excellent selection of wines, especially Sicilian ones. The atmosphere is designed to make you feel at home. I recommend it to those with discerning palates who appreciate those who put their heart and soul into their restaurant work, with professionalism and passion. The staff is truly excellent: Antonio always gives us a wonderful welcome, making us feel at home with an extraordinary warmth. ​The cuisine is superior: the pork pizza is flavorful and made with top-quality ingredients, but all the other products are excellent as well. The meat, in particular, is of the highest quality, tender and flavorful in every cut. 22/02/2026: I'd give the service and food 0 stars. At the checkout, they "mistakenly" charged us €10 more for a bottle, and they didn't refund the difference. Totally not recommended; there are better, more serious places.

20/12/2025: We were on holiday in Sicily in August and hesitated for a long time about writing a review. A friend recommended this place; the wine seller was supposedly very knowledgeable and passionate, and our friend had a fantastic experience there. We drove an hour and a half out of curiosity. When we arrived, I don't think the wine seller in question was there. There was only a young man who was indifferently on his phone and didn't make any contact. We tried to chat, but that didn't work either. We had another glass of wine at the bar, but there was no response. After buying a bottle because of the detour, we quickly left. Afterwards, we regretted spending any money there when this young man made absolutely no effort. I hope the wine seller/owner does something about this, because it's a waste of this beautiful place with so many special wines.

28/02/2026: The starters were good, but we ordered a first course which, although we had been warned that the pasta format had changed, the octopus ragù was water, the pasta was also broken (for 18 euros you need to be careful)... I feel sorry for the guys but the rating is for the food.

26/02/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant more than once. I go for work, and it's always a go-to. Both the pizza and the fish are delicious.

05/03/2026: Worst pizzas in Italy. A disgrace. The pizzas were awful, tasteless. When I went to pay, one of the waiters gave me a bill without change, and when I went to ask for my money back, they said I'd left it for a tip, which wasn't true (I hadn't eaten well, so I wasn't going to leave anything). Definitely avoid this place. There are much better restaurants nearby, so don't waste your money.

05/03/2026: March 4, 2026 +Very good food and a pleasant atmosphere. We were very surprised by the good wine and the excellent appetizer. -Unfortunately, one member of staff ruined the experience. He was friendly with me, smiling and making sure everything was alright, but he was unpleasant and behaved unprofessionally with my friend. Instead of placing the bill on the table in front of him, he passed it over his shoulder without saying a word. That's why he didn't receive a tip either.

31/12/2025: A well-maintained restaurant, easy access, lots of meat, and a wide variety of cured meats. This is a very greasy sandwich, not suitable for children. Definitely expensive, so check the prices carefully. Service is not very organized.

29/12/2025: If a children's birthday party (for a one-year-old) is taking place on a Sunday at 9:00 PM, I expect to be informed by phone. I wanted a relaxing evening, not the sound of screaming children. The risotto was delicious!

04/09/2025: It's a place I've been frequenting occasionally for a while now, and I just returned a few days ago. What can I say? Giovanni's pizza is always exceptional: exquisite, crispy, and flavorful, made with top-quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. I had a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella and pesto (I don't remember the name), and my husband had a Vescovo (the star shape is unique). To finish, the sweet bites with Nutella and pistachio cream: a delight for the palate 😋 Recommend.

05/02/2026: Today I had lunch at trattoria prices. Too bad it's self-service. A first course (alla norma) and a second course (tripe) with a bottle of water cost €18.00. I wasn't satisfied with either dish.

16/03/2026: You have to visit this place. I have never experienced anything like it. Yesterday we visited the Hasta Siempre bar in Catania. Just an ordinary bar… Until we entered. The first thing you notice is the decoration. Revolutionaries are staring at you in all their guises. The Palestinian scarf, the communist Stakhanovites, the Red Brigades, Indians, the Cuban revolution, the hammer and sickle. After a while you realize that you are sitting in an Italian left-wing communist cell. Of course, everything is dominated by Che Guevara and the song Hasta Siempre, celebrating his fearlessness. Do you want to smoke Cuban cigars or cigarettes? Yes, you can do it inside. The last bar in Europe where you can still do it.

02/11/2025: Excellent selection of raw fish, generous array of appetizers. Very fresh fish, fast service, and very welcoming staff. Probably one of the best seafood dinners I've had in recent years. This place was a pleasant discovery, and I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
