Each time we visit Catania, we stop by The Great China Restaurant for dinner.
Prices are affordable, portions are adequate and the food is very flavorful.
We thoroughly enjoyed every item we ordered:
Hot and Sour Soup, soy noodles with pork, vegetable fried rice (add chicken), spring rolls and calamari.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. Cleanliness and friendliness are its hallmarks.
The atmosphere is very typical Chinese.
The food is well-prepared.
The final bill is a bit confusing, but the final price is reasonably priced.

The price is very decent, reasonable portion size. Tasty and fresh. First impression outside was quite old and not sure. Once got in, it is a very traditional Chinese style place, it can be seen with table cover, wall and music. It is old outsize as heard the first Chinese restaurant opened at here. The two sisters service really friendly, and well in the restaurant. And the food itself is tasty and fresh. It is not salty as some located inside the Catania center.
I came back after about 3-4 years... Everything was really good and the staff were very friendly 👍

At The Great China you get the Great Experience ;) Great place and amazing food
One of the first, or perhaps the first, Chinese restaurant in Catania... Chinese atmosphere... friendly and helpful staff... excellent food... price €12.90 for a set dinner menu with various choices... or a la carte menu at reasonable prices... truly an excellent experience!!! Thank you ❤️
