01/05/2025: Drinkers bar on outskirts of old Catania centre. Vibrant atmosphere night with blue/ Jazz music and occasionally live performances. Good selection of wines and other alcoholic drinks as well as soft drinks.

27/05/2025: Excellent pizza, very good first courses too, friendly staff, very rich menu. The Neapolitan pastiera is a work of art... I don't give 5 stars because I'm still waiting for the recipe 😁

07/06/2025: They accommodated us inside without a reservation which we appreciated. Most of the staff were so nice and friendly. They have this one guy who is such a douche. Other reviews refer to him as the owner and I refuse to believe that’s true, there’s no way an owner of a restaurant would act like this. He was clearly very stressed but shouldn’t take it out on customers. At one point, he spoke to me so sternly and through gritted teeth, I thought he might start shouting. Other patrons looked alarmed. We should have left at that point but it was late and we ventured all the way over there to visit this specific restaurant so we stayed. Luckily he stayed away after that (probably embarrassed that he crossed the line) and a young waiter looked after us who was so kind and attentive. We don’t speak Italian so we spoke to them in Spanish with Italian words mixed in and we communicated just fine. The food was so tasty. We had spaghetti a la sepia and frutti di mare, both dishes were delicious. We loved it. We thanked the guys behind the fish counter and in the kitchen, they are doing an amazing job. It’s a shame that one person almost ruined the entire experience. Great restaurants close every day so he should really change his attitude.

15/05/2025: Overall a good structure with a breathtaking view. The style could be modernized a bit but it remains pleasant. The staff is courteous but with some small flaws in the professionalism of the service. The restaurant is average, nothing that particularly impresses you. Let's say that for the potential of the structure and the location it could be improved given the significant costs that it requires from customers who stay or book the rooms for private parties.

17/05/2025: Cantine Sanfilippo is a place on the outskirts of Pedara in the direction of Trecastagni. The place is very nice and welcoming, with an atmosphere halfway between a pub and a Mexican place. The waiters with sombreros are also nice! The menu includes meat dishes, pinse, a Tex Mex part and a menu of the day on a blackboard. We had a good time, excellent dishes and good value for money. The only criticism is that orders were taken by only one person! In such a large place, with such a wide choice on the weekend it becomes impossible!

16/05/2025: I have been to this charming place to have dinner with friends, they were all enthusiastic about the impeccable service and good food. We had a great evening, I recommend it.

11/05/2025: good range of purely vegan food, but popular dishes sell out before the end of the day! The seating indoors and out is a little rudimentary so best suited to eat-and-go. Great value though

They mange to bring a little innovation and "contamination" in the traditional Sicilian food, and they do it by keeping all dishes as light as possible (and it's not an easy task with Sicilian food). Impressed! Fantastic! We came twice and if we had more time we would have come even a third time

29/06/2025: We went on Saturday night at 9pm, there were eight of us, three pizzas arrived, the other five of us stayed to watch for almost an hour, inedible pizzas, four of us left them practically whole, the others ate half of them because they were hungry, no one cleared the table noticing and asking us anything... at the next tables everyone complained about the wait, confusing service and really bad pizza, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

28/06/2025: "Nightmare Saturday". I'll start by saying that there's a lot of confusion. We arrive and no waiter takes any notice of us, so I ask if there's a free seat. They make me sit down and we're abandoned to our fate. After several calls with an answer we arrive, I have to get up to get attention. After a quarter of an hour the order boy arrives as if he was doing me a favor. We finally order and again abandonment. The appetizer arrives and we regain confidence. But promptly abandoned. The dishes arrive, overcooked pizza with a hole in the center, good mixed roast. I understand Saturday but if you have 100 tables you must have just as many boys for the service. Too bad because in the past it was a renowned place. Never again!!!

05/06/2025: On holiday in Sicily in the Etna area we wanted to try this place, we were welcomed by the owner and staff in a warm way, excellent wines and very good meat and cheeses, place with excellent finishings perfect evening thanks we will be back soon a hug

12/06/2025: Grande delusione!!! Abbiamo ordinato quattro antipasti da 20 euro che comprendevano diversi assaggi.Ci hanno portato anche un piatto di cozze(circa 10)e quattro gamberi impanati che pensavamo facessero parte dell' antipasto.Nello scontrino ,oltre i quattro antipasti abbiamo trovato 17 euro di G Chips ( i gamberi) e 14 di cozze(non richiesti da noi) Inoltre abbiamo pagato due piatti di pasta al posto di uno per un errore commesso da loro.L' unica nota positiva la location carina e i camerieri gentili, al contrario del proprietario.

02/04/2025: I would say the best pizzeria in Cassolnovo, generous but not at all heavy pizzas, even the most stuffed ones. The chips were excellent, crispy just right and very tasty. Highly recommended, both alone and on pizza

24/04/2025: Encontramos esta joya escondida por casualidad, la comida y el servicio eran increíbles, sin duda vale la pena tomarse el tiempo para comer aquí. Gracias a Leo que reconoció que necesitamos ayuda con el menú, hizo que nuestra visita fuera memorable ❤️ Muy bien comimos aquí dos veces.

19/03/2025: Locale molto accogliente e pulito. Personale gentile e amichevole senza essere invadente. Cibo squisito( ci sono stato due sere di seguito). Prezzo nella media. In generale molto soddisfatto.
