09/04/2025: Attracted by the smell that came to my nose from the kitchen, I spontaneously decided to have my “pranzo” here. At the beginning of April I was the only guest at 1 p.m. - but that quickly changed. Antipasti was the Caponata di melanzane. I don't know what the caponata that Adelina makes for her inspector tastes like - this one was MERAVIGLIOSA! Afterwards there was Linguine del Capitano, for which many innocent little octopuses had to give up their lives - the chef gave them a more than worthy burial! The meal was accompanied by a wonderful white wine (Grillo). The only downside: there was no coffee for afterwards. Still overall highly recommended!

05/02/2025: Dainotti's da Arianna Was highly recommended by a tour guide. Our group excited when we arrived, we were seated at the large outdoor table. My friend and I went to stand in line for the toilet. The toilets are located near the kitchen. While standing in line at the kitchen, we saw three mice eating the stored bread in the corner of the kitchen. Very unsanitary! Our group immediately left the restaurant. When asked by the hostess, we simply said we lost our appetite. Dainotti's da Arianna’s restaurant needs the service of a rodent exterminator.

23/02/2025: Good food, no doubt about that but ordered their tasting menu (6 courses) and it took them 50 min. to bring the first course. After almost 2h I was at the 3rd course when I decided to stop this joke and just pay and leave. So yes, I recommend it if you want to spend your life with them in the restaurant

04/02/2025: Restaurant whose main feature is the kindness of the owner and the freshness of the fish. Dishes that make a good impression and in the right quantity. It's a shame that the external plexiglass structure vibrated noticeably and annoyingly when cars passed by. The right price for what is offered. Nice willingness to welcome the "dog"

16/02/2025: Tutto quello che ci si può aspettare da un ristorante soddisfacente io l’ho trovato. Ambiente sereno senza fastidiosi o eccessivi rumori. Servizio efficiente ma nel contempo amichevole senza affettazione o supponenze. Cibo gustosissimo , ben cucinato e digeribile . Cucina che più a vista di così non si può per evitare brutte sorprese di tipo “igienico”. Rapporto qualità /prezzo assolutamente conveniente.

16/03/2025: I have known this place for a long time, now moved to the Chiaramonte area. It has been completely renovated, presents itself in an elegant and welcoming way... the staff is kind and efficient. Good raw material...decent pizzas.

16/03/2025: DINNER Downsides: - In 2025 such a renowned restaurant/pizzeria does not have lactose-free products to make pizzas; - Waiting time to book 40 minutes minimum; - Waiting time to eat 60 minutes minimum; - Stained napkins; - Sweet raw warm hearts; - Does not have clothes hangers; Positive sides: - Beautiful location; - Waiters are all kind and helpful; - Excellent food in both restaurant and pizzeria; - Well heated; - Dessert list well stocked and all available; Neutral sides: - Normal price-quality;

04/01/2025: La qualità del cibo è ottima e i piatti sono sorprendenti, oltre che buonissimi. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. Il locale è accogliente. Nel corso della serata c’è stata musica dal vivo, davvero piacevole. Consigliatissimo anche a chi non è vegano.

28/03/2025: The staff at Hotel Carmine recommended Botega del Carmine to eat. It was excellent and we had a beautiful evening in this hidden gem of a restaurant with piano music, a garden, fairy lights and amazing service. (Come out of hotel turn left and restaurant is on the left near cacti. It is easy to miss - it has an enclosed garden in the centre which is not visible from the road 10/10. We live in France and appreciate good food and quality. The service was excellent and the meal awesome - their chef is top. The pianist/singer had talent.

16/02/2025: Ristorante scoperto nell'estate 2023 in occasione di una cena di compleanno in famiglia da cui ci congedammo assolutamente soddisfatti tanto per la qualità di cibo e servizio che per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornati dopo circa 1 anno e mezzo abbiamo dovuto ricrederci. 120 euro per due antipasti misti crudo e cotto ed 1 piatto di pasta alle vongole in 2 e una bottiglia di vino bianco con una qualità della materia prima sicuramente peggiorata e porzioni ridottissime.

01/04/2025: Delicious food, real Sicilian cuisine, I would add more staff to the service, at least 1, normal environment, I would add a few more tables and chairs, however I will definitely return as soon as I return to Palermo...
