28/05/2026: I was there with a group of friends, only to eat, I wouldn't know about lodgings.
Old building(s), like a fortified farm/manor, with a large interior courtyard and verdant generous surroundings.
Kind of difficult to get there (which is maybe better), we stayed about 10 km away, so no big effort for us.
Quiet, almost eerie atmosphere, very relaxing, maybe we spoiled some of it laughing loudly, because it felt so good.
True (I like to think) sicillian country experience.
Nobody among us complained about the food (which is a very rare situation !). It was very good , ok maybe a confusion between a medium-rare fiorentino and a medium entrecote. It didn't matter.
Best table red wine in ages.

The house itself is absolutely stunning, full of character and authentic charm, carrying the soul and history of Sicily in every detail. The atmosphere is intimate, refined, and welcoming at the same time — the kind of place where time slows down and every moment becomes special.
The food was simply exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented and prepared with incredible attention to detail, using high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors that perfectly celebrate Sicilian cuisine. You can feel the passion, creativity, and respect for tradition in every bite. Truly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had.
The service deserves a standing ovation. The entire staff was elegant, attentive, warm, and genuinely kind, making us feel not like customers, but honored guests in their home. Professionalism blended perfectly with authentic Sicilian hospitality.
And all of this at a surprisingly fair price for such an outstanding experience.
Locanta Angelica is not just a restaurant — it is a place with soul, beauty, and heart. A hidden gem in Sicily that we will remember for a very long time and recommend wholeheartedly to anyone looking for excellence, authenticity, and unforgettable memories.
