Dining with a view into the kitchen, regional food made with locally sourced ingredients. The owner is incredibly friendly and attentive, delighted by even a few words of Italian and a smile.
The wine in the 2-liter plastic bottle is produced just around the corner and served in the Sicilian style. Because it was so fantastic (I'm a wine drinker, but not a wine snob), we bought a bottle to take home; at €8, I was almost embarrassed 😉.
After two days, I have to add: We should have bought more. After two days exploring the island, we ran out of wine, and we didn't find anything better...

21/03/2026: The cake was delicious, everyone loved it, and it was made just the way I wanted it. It's a shame that my family, who went to pick it up, put it in the trunk, and it got a little ruined on the way. I'm posting the photo I brought them; it was made exactly as I wanted.
