16/06/2025: On our bike trip through the Tuscan hills we decided to stop by Panzano specifically for the renowned butcher's shop. Treated like dogs.. we were told that we were disgusting just because we were sweaty.. (it was 39 degrees) I already had the impression that it was a place that catches foreign tourists to get as much money as possible.. now I can confirm it. Tuscan friendliness and cordiality completely forgotten.. If we had had a full wallet we would certainly have been treated differently.. A Disgust! (Said in Tuscany eh)

01/05/2025: Because of the Italian Labor Day holiday, my wife and I decided to explore parts of Martina Franco we’ve yet to see. During our 8 km’s walk, we came across Caffè Olivieri. As soon as we walked in, the typical Italian warmth we’ve become accustomed to, with smiles greeted us. We had coffee, some delicious dolce treats, including Gelatti! The dolce, and the Gelatti were just soooo delicious! Go and explore parts of Martina Franco and its hidden treasures. Caffè Olivieri is one of those hidden treasures❣️

12/07/2025: We had a lovely family meal here on our last night in Puglia, we wished we’d have found it earlier as we would have come again! The food was the best we’d had in Puglia, local dishes elevated to the next level, fine dining in a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The chef and staff were excellent, with great wine and food recommendations along with superb service. Would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a restaurant that truly cares about everything – from you as a guest, to the quality of the ingredients they use, and finally to the impeccable taste and service.

15/06/2025: Truly an excellent restaurant with excellent food with quality that you really need, customer service is the same because as soon as you enter they serve you, furthermore the food arrives immediately and the environment inside is like a beautiful tavern, I rate it 5 stars I recommend it

15/06/2025: The house appetizer was nothing special, served in installments, cold cuts as a single course and after 10 minutes the dairy products, for the hot ones instead we waited over 15 minutes. Good sliced ​​steak, questionable sausage, courses served one at a time to the various diners, with the result that two ate, two looked and then three looked and one ate. All this keeping in mind that we were the first customers and when we arrived there was no one there.

25/06/2025: A Culinary Highlight of Our Apulian Journey We had the best dining experience of our entire trip in Apulia at La Cuccagna Giro di Vite in Crispiano. Everything from the service to the creativity of the dishes was exceptional. We started with the chef’s selection of six antipasti, a beautifully curated mix of local flavors—ranging from classic cold cuts to mini meatballs, fresh salads with seasonal vegetables, and other small delicacies that showcased the richness of the region. Each bite was a discovery. The rosé sparkling wine recommended by the staff—L’Archetipo Susumante—was a perfect pairing: fresh, elegant, and full of character. For the primi, we each chose one pasta dish, and the kitchen thoughtfully split and served both in two separate rounds so we could easily share and enjoy each one. The orecchiette with smoky aubergine and a trio of cherry tomatoes (green, yellow, and red) was vibrant and full of flavor. The paccheri filled with ricotta in a lamb and tomato sauce was rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. To finish, we shared a house-made fig tart paired with a scoop of almond ice cream, topped with freshly grilled almonds—a perfect finale with freshness, texture, and just the right sweetness. This meal was not only delicious, but full of generosity, care, and soul—just like the ambiance of the restaurant. A must-visit if you’re in the area. Truly unforgettable.
