13/08/2025: Beautiful location and delicious food 🔝

30/07/2025: We sat outside on a summer evening. The service was excellent, the appetizers were delicious, and the meat was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The only downside was that our table was outside, and vehicles occasionally passed by. It was a narrow street in the historic center, and the particularly hot day spoiled the evening's atmosphere somewhat.

17/07/2025: Posto stupendo con vetrina sempre piena di cibo tutto molto buono e fresco. La cucina è casereccia ed è spettacolare per tutte le occasioni pranzi,cene, buffet,cerimonie di ogni genere. Dagli antipasti fino al dolce tutto molto molto buono, noi siamo super soddisfatti e ci veniamo spesso. Posto super consigliato

18/06/2025: Business trip, we looked online and chose this place for the very positive reviews. It was a weekday lunch, the place was empty. In addition to us, 2 other tables. Food that combines refined flavors with tradition. Attention to detail, both in the dish and in the dishes. Very quiet place, soft atmosphere in the center of Massafra. Kind and professional waiters. We were in a bit of a hurry so we couldn't enjoy our lunch break for long. Fewer dishes to choose from, better.

13/05/2025: Ero stato con mia moglie 2 anni fa con una piacevole esperienza, come da mia recensione. Siamo tornati con 2 amici ed in verità siamo rimasti delusi. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti (per 4 persone), veramente misero con pochissime cose e porzioni ridotte. (Premetto che non abbiamo ordinato il crudo di mare come l'altra volta). Come primo abbiamo ordinato tutti i paccheri ai frutti di mare che erano la fotocopia in bianconero di quelli di 2 anni prima (sembravano riscaldati e con pochissimi frutti di mare e con le bucce delle vongole sotto i denti). Per secondo abbiamo preso una sperlunga centrale di frittura di pesce misto (buona), una bottiglia di vino fichimori, 4 dolcetti e 4 caffè. Preciso che il locale è accogliente ed i bagni puliti. Chiedo il conto e mi trovo una cifra spropositata, 240 euro, per quello che abbiamo mangiato, pago e zitto. Sarà capitato una giornata storta, forse la festa Patronale, ma sono rimasto molto deluso, al massimo mi aspettavo 180. Oltretutto i tavoli non hanno neanche il tovagliato e questo è antipatico e poco igienico perché il tovagliolo e le posate inevitabilmente poggiano sul tavolo. Insomma non penso di ritornare visto che la qualità è scesa ed il prezzo, in rapporto a 2 anni prima è raddoppiato quasi.

07/09/2025: The food was pretty good, the prices reasonable. But it all takes place outside. We found ourselves in a downpour and were covered by a plastic tent with water everywhere. We needed an indoor room.

07/09/2025: Discovered by chance last year, it has become a summer staple. I can confidently say it's the only grill in the area where you can enjoy delicious cuts of meat at reasonable prices. There are many options to suit your tastes. I recommend agreeing on the cooking method with the owner to fully enjoy the various cuts. Service and location are average. Highly recommended.

04/06/2025: Wonderful! The only authentic encounter with the best Chinese cuisine in all of Taranto and its province. Fabulous welcome and impeccable service. Clean, tasty, fair quality/price ratio. EXCELLENT AND TO BE RE-DONE EVERY TIME YOU WANTED GOOD CHINESE FOOD. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

18/08/2025: Food is great but…To bad not a good experience quite a massa production don’t bring your children or a dog loud Italian all over the place… they will shiffer under the table cous of the loudness… (better ask for a table outside for the acoustic is horrible but not in August for you will be crazy for the musquito’s) at least 300 guest can take place every evening so quite commercial and not intimately at all… prices went up also even a picture with Mr butcher himself you have to pay for.

20/08/2025: A must-try for pizzella when we're in Taranto! All the pizzas are delicious, made with authentic, high-quality ingredients and a super-light dough. While you wait for your pizza, try the homemade croquettes! The staff is incredibly friendly...highly recommended! Plus, the quality/price ratio is excellent! 19/08/2025: The fried potato croquettes, zucchini flowers, arancini, and fried pizza were spectacular. The pizzas were special!!

26/08/2025: I went there yesterday for the first time... honestly, given the reviews, I expected more. The dough wasn't the softest, and I had trouble swallowing because it was very dry and hard when cold... the cured meats were badly cut because they were too thick... the price was normal.

05/09/2025: What can I say!? When there's nothing to say because everything is perfect. Price, quality, courtesy. Signora Teresa is the icing on the cake. The best restaurant in Maratea, hands down. The passion of this wonderful land, this is Santa Lucia da Biagio.

05/09/2025: The atmosphere is rustic but clean and welcoming. Parking isn't a problem, but the owners do their best to find a place for the car. The food is mixed. The main courses we ordered (roasted fish, pork chop, grilled scamorza) were delicious and accompanied by a nice variety of vegetables, making the place suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The first courses, however, were disappointing: interesting local recipes, but the dishes were precooked and reheated, resulting in overcooked pasta. The prices are fair.
