It's the only pizzeria I recommend for dine-in or takeout.
Eating their pizza in the evening doesn't weigh you down and is easily digested.

I spent a few days at La Giara Risto Relais and can wholeheartedly recommend my stay. As a woman traveling alone, it was especially important to me to feel safe and well cared for – and that was exactly the case from the very first minute.
The room was exceptionally clean, tastefully furnished, and meticulously maintained. I also really appreciated the quiet, somewhat secluded location. Parking was available right next to the rooms.
What made the stay truly special was the warmth of the hosts. The Italian mentality – open, warm, and familial – was palpable at all times.
I felt welcome, safe, and completely at ease in every respect. If you're looking for clean, quiet accommodation with genuine Italian hospitality, this is the perfect place. I would love to return.

01/10/2025: As soon as we finished our impromptu dinner, our first time here, I must say we immediately felt at home. The feeling of total relaxation was complete. The meat was high-quality (I invite you to try their homemade salami, which is truly excellent. The prices are far from average; I honestly would have gladly paid a little more). We didn't pay anything for what we got. Truly top-notch. Then there's Alessia's desserts (her homemade tiramisu), 10 out of 10.

06/01/2026: After a few wanders along the coast, we wanted to find a proper trattoria in the hills of Savona. Well, this magnificent place didn't disappoint! The food was excellent and plentiful, and the atmosphere was down-to-earth and very family-friendly. The prices are also very fair, and the quality of the dishes is absolutely made with love. It was a wonderful experience!

05/02/2026: The pizza is delicious, with an easy-to-digest dough, excellent ingredients, and a well-rolled crust. The staff is truly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The place is very quaint, decorated with American license plates, iconic posters, and traditional furnishings. The only drawbacks were the rather slow service for a weekday, and the fact that you walk in smelling delicious and leave smelling of fried food. The prices are very fair.
