This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in the area: simple, local, home-style cooking, done right. The place is charming and well-kept in the old town of Taranto, and the owner and staff are kind and welcoming, especially the manager, with whom we enjoyed chatting about wine and food. You can tell they're passionate about their work, sourcing excellent ingredients and showcasing their creativity in their cooking. We hope to return soon.

11/04/2026: Excellent pizza, both for the highly digestible dough and the toppings. Perfectly cooked, too. Friendly, fast, and attentive service. Fair prices. Excellent value. The place is very charming, with its characteristic vaulted ceilings; it's well-kept and very clean. I'll try to return in the summer to enjoy the sea view.

26/04/2026: Lunch on April 25th, so a fixed menu (I don't know if this is how it usually works). Relatively quick service, informal atmosphere. The dishes didn't particularly impress me. I found the quality of the cured meats (capocollo and salami) very good, but the cheeses were less so (tasteless mozzarella, for example). The pizzaiola-style meatballs were quite tough, difficult to cut with a knife, and it was even hard to tell they were pizzaiola-style! The single-serving potato dishes here, however, were more flavorful. The first courses were decent, generous enough, both for the trofie with pistachio pesto, pancetta, and bacon, and the orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, dates, or cheese. The second course, featuring a mixed roast, consisting of sausage, pancetta, and breaded bombette, was a bit disappointing and not particularly flavorful. The jam tart, which seemed to be one of those pre-packaged supermarket ones. Overall, a full 5. I don't think I'll go back.

06/04/2026: The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, the food is excellent, the authentic flavors of family-run Mediterranean cuisine, and the portions are generous. It's a real joy to return!

16/05/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, even though I asked for a table inside and they put me in the storage room. I didn't order the pizza anyway, because I'd definitely have waited a long time on a Saturday night. I had a roast, good sausage, and slightly greasy bombette. I don't recommend the house wine; it tastes like nothing. The Parma platter was a spectacle, delicious. The only flaw is the rush the staff puts on. I go out to relax, not to be anxious. I understand it's Saturday, but you make people anxious. The price is fair, and parking is great.

14/05/2026: It's not my first time there, but it never disappoints. Last time, we had a table of excellent appetizers and a few pizzas in the center; this time, it was just pizza. Really good, thin, crispy, and easy to digest. The place is welcoming, spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Compliments to the pizza chef.

04/08/2026: Last night we had the pleasure of dining at this pizzeria, and I must say it was truly a wonderful experience. We tried several pizzas, especially the gourmet ones, and they were all excellent. A special mention, however, goes to the dough: well-ripened, light, balanced, and above all, very digestible. We ended the evening with great satisfaction, and the night passed peacefully, which is anything but a secondary aspect for me. The table service was excellent, the attention to detail was beautiful, and it was very interesting to see the awards and trophies on display, which speak to the passion and dedication with which this work is carried out. The prices were absolutely reasonable, and the atmosphere was pleasant, made even more special by the friendliness of the pizza chef and his family. What was supposed to be just an evening at the pizzeria also turned into a wonderful acquaintance and, I hope, a new friendship. A pizzeria I recommend not once, but a thousand times! If I return to the area, it will definitely be one of my stops. Congratulations indeed: top-notch quality. 🍕👏

04/08/2026: The pizza is delicious. The only downside is the lack of reservations with a fixed time. On Saturday evenings, people easily wait in line for two hours, when by giving a specific time, the very dangerous gathering of dozens of customers could be avoided.
