23/08/2025: Good food at rock-bottom prices. The menu, however, is limited. Excellent service, fast and professional. I didn't think there was still a place where you could enjoy authentic Taranto cuisine. Six of us came in at 12:15 and enjoyed our lunch without being rushed, even though a line of about fifty people had formed outside the restaurant. And the best part was that, in addition to the tourists, there were many locals. An experience worth repeating.

22/08/2025: When we arrived, we had an hour-long wait. We wanted to give up, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was clean and refined, the food simple, and the service fast and attentive. It reminds us of lunches and dinners at grandma's house. We enjoyed: octopus marinara, mussels marinara, rice with mussels, spaghetti with garlic, oil, mussels, and chili pepper, tubettini with mussels, delicious mixed fried fish, and to finish, a coffee cream and grappa. I highly recommend it; we'll definitely be back.

05/08/2025: We discovered this cafe by simply looking for a bar, while in Martina Franca. Well, we keep coming back, over and over again. Very good coffee, yummy gelato and the cakes... oh, my god the cakes! Simply amazing! Super friendly staff and 100% recommended! You won't be disappointed!

17/08/2025: We dined here and enjoyed truly excellent seafood dishes: from the freshest oysters to pasta with clams, everything was well-prepared and made with quality ingredients. The cuisine undoubtedly deserves top marks, both for flavor and presentation. The service, however, was a shame: slow and a bit understaffed for the number of guests. The waiters did their best, but the wait was noticeable. Overall, an excellent dining experience that I would recommend, with the hope that the service will be improved to match the cuisine.

23/08/2025: The pizzas are EXCELLENT and very generous in size. The appetizers, however, are disappointing: they're frozen products, and the "Zingara chips," presented as being covered in mozzarella fondue, are actually just French fries with a bit of crumbled mozzarella on top, not even melted. That said, I go to pizzerias primarily for the pizza, so overall I'm satisfied.

19/08/2025: Pizzas with quality and unique ingredients. Attentive and fast service. We spent €70 for three of us, but the slightly higher price than average was due to a bottle of excellent wine and, in addition to the pizzas, salad and fries. Highly recommended.

16/08/2025: I haven't been back to Martina in several years and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Possibly the best grill I've ever had in my memory. The meat is exceptionally high-quality, the service is fast and efficient, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely be back. Congratulations!

01/07/2025: I would like to say it on the tip of a... pen. My wife and I chose you because we fell immensely in love with the structure, the grove, the green spaces. But my, our experience went far beyond the simple beautiful "place". My wife and I were in tune with everything, from the delicious food to the staff happy to celebrate with us, courteous and available at all times. Dr. Michele Conserva is a great professional and a wonderful person, serious, available and always communicative with kindness and frankness. Masseria Francesca is a resource that must be discovered and that I warmly recommend.

15/08/2025: A wonderful culinary experience in the heart of the province of Taranto. The antipasto della Cuccagna is a must, and the arrosto misto won us over: quality grilled meat with a spectacular smoky flavor. I don't give it five stars for the dessert: the mascarpone millefeuille with berries was delicious, but the flavor was more cream than mascarpone. The wine list is extensive and very well curated. We especially appreciated the sommelier's recommendation for an excellent Primitivo del Salento. They also have international wines; it would be a good idea to include a Spanish wine to round out the menu. In short, a place we will definitely return to... and this time, with friends.

29/08/2025: The Sud Hotel enjoys an enviable location, overlooking the splendid Montedarena Bay. The hotel has enormous potential, but it's underutilized. EXTERIOR: The building appears anonymous, with not even a name printed on a canvas. The lush garden features a small central square and furnishings for relaxing in the evening. The hotel lobby is spacious and leads to the restaurant. STRUCTURE: The building is brand new, recently renovated with quality materials. The only downsides are the hallways, which are still made of terrazzo tiles, which clash with the modern decor; the rusty doors with sharp edges; and the bathroom sinks, which splash everywhere and require a trickle of water to avoid flooding. ROOMS: The seafront rooms are all beautiful, with large balconies overlooking the bay. The rooms at the back have smaller balconies and courtyard views. BAR: The bar is always brand new, accessible from outside, but is only being used at 5% of its capacity. RESTAURANT: Large with plenty of space. PARKING: Both paid on-site and free, gated parking a few steps away, unlocked with a card. CLEANLINESS: Adequate in all areas. FOOD SERVICE: The food service is NOT adequate: a single appetizer per course, e.g., three slices of mozzarella and tomato = or the next day, battered zucchini flower. But what if a guest doesn't like it? We were told to either leave out an appetizer or not indicate. The choice of two first courses and two second courses, for those accustomed to traveling and frequenting restaurants, is very perplexing. It ranges from slightly more sophisticated dishes to pasta with sauce, and we often left the dishes barely touched. The children's menu is almost always the same... often tubes of white or red sauce. The napkins smelled of egg, a problem reported several times but never resolved. Eventually, they took paper napkins. A neighbor of ours asked to eat something else because he didn't like the dishes that required a reservation... He was told he'd have to pay for the dish... And if you like the dish, there's no question of second helpings... it was like a parody of Fantozzi. Long wait times and the air conditioning was on full blast. Advice: you can't skimp on food service; if it's included in the package, it must be adequate, otherwise it loses its reputation. A quick tour of the managers on the Adriatic Riviera in even a two-star hotel would be enough to learn respect for customers in these matters. STAFF: The cleaning ladies were very friendly and proactive; the restaurant staff: some adequate, others in need of further training; the reception: remember that the first contact with the customer is there, so you can't put people who are lazy and often absent from their station on the front desk. The bar staff: knowledgeable and friendly, unfortunately with few customers. A special mention goes to Mr. Angelo... the problem solver, always friendly, helpful, and polite, a true asset to the facility. Someone like him should be employed in management roles. 24/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel from the 19th to the 24th...fair rating. Let's start with the strong points: excellent location facing the sea, good cleanliness, very helpful staff (not all of them), Leo and Angelo are two lovely people. Good breakfast, not very varied but with quality products. The idea of ​​organizing evenings for guests and children is nice. The cons are many and not least significant. The rooms are not very comfortable, especially for a disabled person. The bathroom is small, the bidet is unusable, and considering it was in the disabled person's room, this created quite a few problems. The bathrooms have no guest kits other than hand soap and a hairdryer. The outlets, especially those next to the bed, are dangerous for children. Plugging in the charger would cause the entire power block to go out, and that shouldn't happen. Dinner wasn't worth it: the quality was poor, the portions were small, and the meat was inedible in our opinion (everything is subjective!). We had rice, potatoes, and mussels, and as a Bari native, finding several pieces of shell in the rice bothered me so much that I thought, if you don't know how to do it, avoid cooking this type of dish. At the end of our stay, no one asked us how we had enjoyed our stay or if we were happy with the service. This, in my opinion, is also unkind to people who paid as if they were staying in a 4-star hotel, when the service was anything but three-star. Would I go back? Honestly, only for the beach, but I would consider other options, such as hotels.

19/08/2025: Service was good, staff were helpful and friendly. The ingredients and menu selection were poor, with few vegetarian or vegan options. Furthermore, the pizza ingredients were somewhat tasteless and poorly prepared (for example, overcooked, almost burnt fried eggplant, and flavorless cherry tomatoes). I also didn't appreciate the price increase they charged us for substituting a cured meat for bresoala. It's known to cost more, but it would have been better to specify this, as it would have increased the price of the pizza.

03/08/2025: I've been to this pizzeria. The atmosphere is welcoming, whether you're having dinner with friends or enjoying a quiet evening. The pizza? Simply exceptional: light and digestible dough, perfectly cooked, and super fresh ingredients. 🍕😍 The dessert also deserves a special mention, a delicious tartlet 😋 The staff is kind, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. 29/06/2025: I had a wonderful evening here the finest ingredients cooked to perfection, the lady was so attentive and gentle she arranged extra plates for sharing, positioned the fans to keep me cooled ,and played a wonderful playlist of soul music I'll definitely return

01/08/2025: Een delicatessenwinkel met high-end culinaire producten én een inpandig restaurant met qualche posto all’esterno net buiten Grottaglie centrum. Wij kunnen eigenlijk enkel in superlatieven denken en beoordelen. De seating buiten: mooi gedekte tafels met die extra’s… de tafelverlichting, de glazen… de kleine details die het verschil wél maken ook al zijn ze enkel tastbaar. De service: zonder meer correct. De wijnkaart: verrassend uitgebreid met vele succelente keuzes ! Een excellente Chardonnay gedronken. Last but not least… il cibo: men verwijst vaak naar ‘parels’… ik gebruik hier liever ‘diamant’… geen ruwe, maar een perfect geslepen exemplaar dat is ontstaan in de keuken van de chef. Wonderbaarlijke plats… de diepgang in de smaken, de kwaliteit, de originaliteit. Alles was aanwezig. De BESTE BESTE BESTE tartara di scampo gegeten ooit ! Geen tourist trap, maar de ‘real thing’. OK, je hebt het ‘centro storico’ er niet bij, maar een gezonde wandeling en je bent zó daar

07/07/2025: Too expensive for what you eat, the portions are very small, too long wait between one portion and another. The place is very welcoming and characteristic.

23/08/2025: We visited this restaurant on an August evening. The location, along with the view, left you speechless. Fantastic. Dinner began with the house appetizer, which consisted of several courses, but was neither excellent in quality nor quantity. Once you'd finished, you had no idea what you'd eaten. We continued with the main course of the day, consisting of bombette and sausage. We weren't told the price of this dish, nor what the sausage was. The bill, both for the quality and quantity of what we ate, was a bit high. The service wasn't entirely coordinated between the various staff in the dining room; let's just say it was a bit confusing.

11/08/2025: Don't trust their opening hours on Google. We wanted to visit this restaurant especially for the good reviews and we trusted the opening hours, but sad surprise: they were closed (without any notification outside).
