The food was cooked with care and in the dining room we met Silvia who added value to the place with her kindness.

Here for lunch, the restaurant with plenty of seating was almost full. I recommend arriving before 1:00 PM. The staff was friendly and quick with taking orders and serving. I tried the classic tubettino with mussels. A slight disappointment: the pasta was unsalted and the mussels were tasteless. Bill: €8.50 (water + first course).

I've been going to this restaurant every now and then for several years. The prices have gone up a bit. A full lunch costs around €28, but the fried fish remains the main dish. It's a wait, but it's worth it. You can't get anything else for that price.

Trattoria L'Orologio is a true hidden gem. The neighborhood isn’t the prettiest, but the restaurant itself is beautiful and full of charm. The food is outstanding. We loved the squid & black olives pasta, the garlic & mussels pasta, and the perfectly crispy fried squid. Great wine, delicious desserts, and a refreshing limoncello to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave excellent recommendations, and the prices were surprisingly low for the quality. Definitely worth a visit!

30/05/2026: We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The service was unobtrusive and friendly, the food was beautifully presented, and the wine recommendation was spot on. The atmosphere was pleasant and rather quiet. Prices were reasonable. The stairs are difficult for people with mobility issues.

17/05/2026: Samad, the best waiter ever!! Our meat and wine angel! Top service, even better food, highly recommended!! Everything was top notch!
15/05/2026: The food was wonderful and plentiful, and the prices, even at the butcher's, were reasonable. But what impressed me most was that Dario and his team remained modest and friendly. Even though Dario is famous, he told his sommelier to take a break instead of working. I too wish I had a father as humane as him. Ultimately, this is a place where humanity reigns supreme. (I'm German, sorry for any typos.)
