02/06/2025: The food was not delicious, but maybe we just chose it. I don't like to give a bad rating to a place like that because it's not very fair, but considering the rude treatment, as soon as they found out that we were not Italian and had to speak to us in English (no one speaks English), they were completely arrogant and rude. The food was half raw, and you can only order certain dishes for two people, which is completely illogical because what if the other person wants to eat something different. Also, the terrace is very drafty. They definitely have delicious dishes, but because of the raw food and rude treatment, they only deserve one point. I don't recommend it to tourists, only to Italians.

29/05/2025: One of the best restaurants in Monopoli! Great location, very friendly and kind staff, great wines at good prices, super tasty salads, the best pizza we've had in Italy, the fish and seafood are very fresh and delicious. We discovered it on the first night and only had dinner there all 4 nights. I recommend it with both hands!

25/05/2025: The first courses are very good especially, very central as a place. The staff is really very kind, I really recommend it. The Garden room is very beautiful where it seems like you are not even in the center.

29/09/2024: It is cafe-style, visit the country to order and to collect. We had to wait a bit as they were very busy with takeaways. The smaller size pizza was ample for a hungry adult.

22/08/2024: Pizza a dir poco sublime: impasto sottile, digeribilissima ! Veramente Top! Una delle mie preferite! Locale piccolo ma accogliente con Saletta esterna vicino al Calvario di Monopoli e poco distante dal Bar La Nave ( altro posto Top di Monopoli) Rapporto qualità/prezzo veramente incredibile per una delle pizze più buone che abbia mai mangiato! E credetemi che a Monopoli, la concorrenza è agguerrita e soprattutto di ottimo livello! Del resto lui, Ciro, è stato eletto campione d'Europa nel 1996 nella categoria! Non è un caso.... 5 stelle meritatissime! Ah, dimenticavo: Panzerotto spettacolare! Come fatto in casa!

01/05/2025: Se vieni in questo "pizzorante", certo ci vieni perchè l'idea di poter scegliere panzerotti di varie misure e con diversi ripieni, ti rende la cena quantomeno sfiziosa. E se devi valutare quindi questo genere di esperienza, devi osservare : - impasto ( qualita' e digeribilita' della massa ) - frittura ( qualita' quindi dell'olio usato e "capacita"' di friggere ) - sapore - costo - servizio al tavolo Noi 4 abbiamo preso 3 panzerotti M a testa, con diversi ripieni e a fine cena eravamo tutti sazi ma NON APPESANTITI, nonostante anche 1 panzerotto con gianduia finale, anelli di cipolla e bomboniere come dessert. La frittura era perfetta, non avevamo nemmeno le dita unte di olio, e anche i piatti erano completamente puliti, non c'era alcuna macchia, o alone d'olio lasciata dai panzerotti. Sapore del panzerotto classico, sublime. Quello messicano con carne e peperoni, fantastico. Tutti buonissimi. A fine cena, il panzerotto al gianduia ci ha lasciato in bocca un sapore FANTASTICO. Costo ? 62 euro in 4 nonostante 1 coca zero, 2 bottiglie di acqua grandi, 2 birre medie, 13 panzerotti, anelli di cipolla e bomboniere, 2 caffe'. VOLETE SPENDERE MENO ??????? Raffaella ha lavorato come una matta, il locale era pieno. Ci ha seguito sempre con attenzione e con tanta educazione. Tutto quello che ho letto PRIMA di cenarci stasera, per fortuna l'ho preso come al solito con le pinze, perchè qui la gente racconta un sacco di cavolate ! Smettetela di fare tutti i critici gastronomici del "piffero" !

30/04/2025: Ne avevo sentito parlare da anni... Stasera finalmente sono riuscito ad andarci! Posto semplice ma tanta tanta tanta sostanza! Clima leggero, cameriere simpatiche gentili e molto disponibili nei consigli. Abbiamo scelto una porzione di popizze mentre aspettavamo e i panzerotti, uno xl e un menù da 3 panzerotti M, tutti gustosissimi e giganteschi! Ci siamo veramente divertiti.

27/05/2025: We booked a table specifically for Friday night with some friends at this place, calling a few days before. A place in full “trattoria” style, I liked it! Every Friday night they organize a dinner with a menu based on fried Panzerotti + drink for €15. (Two classic panzerotti with tomato and mozzarella, one with mortadella and provolone, one with tuna and one with strong ricotta, which can be replaced, if necessary, with another panzerotto with tomato and mozzarella) Before the panzerotti, at the table, two well-stocked plates arrived, I want to point out, with pieces of spicy and sweet salami plus cheeses and olives. We really liked the panzerotti, the dough was really light. The service was quite fast, the owners of the place are very kind, friendly and cordial. We were very satisfied, we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/03/2025: I just had dinner here and I was alone on a business trip. The first thing I noticed was the owner's antipathy, who, when welcoming me, treated me with a condescending air, perhaps because I was alone, I don't know. Antipathy that he confirmed at the cashier, without a smile or an "I'm sorry", even though I had expressed my disappointment to the waiter a few minutes before. Just an expression of condescension without even looking at me. Very different from the table next to me who was eating seafood. The waiter, on the other hand, was kind and friendly. I ordered a rare tagliata with a side of grilled vegetables and I simply received a slice of meat cut into slices. Tough, medium-rare and full of nerves, which I almost finished just because I was hungry because I wanted to go to sleep and not wait for them to replace it with something else. To make a tagliata, which also costs 25 euros, you can't just buy any slice of meat, you should get the sirloin. Tagliata does not mean "I don't feel like cutting my own meat, cut it for me" but rather a certain type of meat is preferred which is definitely not this. Last but not least, my receipt included a glass of wine that I initially didn't want and that the waiter wanted to offer me. But this is an irrelevant detail compared to the rest. Not to be repeated

04/10/2024: A really nice place to go to eat! Excellent food but above all the super friendly and approachable staff! In particular Manuel who, in addition to his kindness, made our day super cheerful with his cheerfulness! We will definitely be back!
