29/08/2025: Finally found a beach club worth a return visit. Coccaro Beach Club has a pleasant sand beach located within an alcove with the clearest of seas. Bathing is a pleasure and the facilities are clean and complemented by attentive staff. Lunch on the waters edge was accompanied by a pleasant sea breeze, some bubbles and fresh fish. Perfect ingredients for a slow lunch. Menu obviously favours fish but somewhat limiting for the carnivores amongst us. The club is child friendly and quite secure. A good time was had by all. Returned two days later only to have missed an irritating feature that unfortunately downgrades the establishment to just another Italian disappointment. I noticed a €16 discrepancy between two exact bottles of bubbly, one ordered on the beach and the other ordered in the dining area. When queried, I was proudly informed that there is a surcharge for ordering on the beach! The beach and the dining area is equidistant from the bar! I walked it! It is so typically petty and very disappointing from such an establishment to be penny pinching. As if the waiters would not be tipped! Given the mentality I would be surprised if the surcharge is shared with the waiters. Italians have a habit of capping the hospitality experience with unnecessarily annoying but with obvious avariciousness. So few establishments are able to break through this barrier. They comfortably fool themselves that nobody will notice. We all do! Downgrade buffering…

20/08/2025: An impeccable welcome, with a kindness so symbolic of the village in which the restaurant is located. The dishes were excellent, the dessert delicious, and the little limoncello was offered. 🍋 The restaurant's setting is peaceful and wonderful at sunset. Thank you very much.

26/08/2025: Definitely one of the top five restaurants I've tried in the 20 years I've been frequenting Salento. As soon as you sit down, the pittule arrive, hot and delicious. We ordered the appetizer, and everything was delicious. We then tried both the first and second courses: truly excellent. My son had the meatballs in tomato sauce, which were truly flavorful, while my daughter really enjoyed the tiramisu (which I wasn't so keen on, perhaps because it's different from what we're used to eating in Rome). The pizzas are also very good.

20/08/2025: A must-try for pizzella when we're in Taranto! All the pizzas are delicious, made with authentic, high-quality ingredients and a super-light dough. While you wait for your pizza, try the homemade croquettes! The staff is incredibly friendly...highly recommended! Plus, the quality/price ratio is excellent! 19/08/2025: The fried potato croquettes, zucchini flowers, arancini, and fried pizza were spectacular. The pizzas were special!!

08/09/2025: We had an unforgettable dinner with a breathtaking view. We were two couples and a baby and the staff made us feel completely welcome . We ordered two linguine with lobster (absolutely delicious), four appetizers, four main dishes, two bottles of wine, and four scroppinos to finish — everything was superb. The service was attentive, the seafood fresh, and the atmosphere elegant but relaxed. Perfect for a special night out with friends or family. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!

09/09/2025: First evening on holiday, found on Google, very nice place with ample parking, equally beautiful location, stunning sea view, dinner a little disappointing for the price paid, also misunderstanding about a €19 appetizer recommended for two and paid €38 I pointed out to the waiter, he replied that the price referred to per person.

04/09/2025: Excellent dishes to enjoy with a sea view. The octopus millefeuille was excellent, and the first courses were delicious (both the tagliatelle with stracciatella and pistachios and the seafood first course). The waiters and the restaurant owner were both kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

11/08/2025: We were at Masseria Debellis for our son's baptism. Let's start from the assumption that the food is top-notch and plentiful, we ate really well and the DJ entertained us a lot... The waiters were all very kind and helpful but the criticism, which I hope is constructive, is directed at the management of the spaces and the cleanliness of the areas. The room, which is unique, does not allow you to dance and have fun freely during the celebrations because the space reserved for dancing is very limited. Consider that yesterday there were only 2 events so the room was not even completely full and many of the other event did not get up to dance, so we managed to celebrate with a little more space, not to mention our table tightly next to a piece of furniture along the wall which made it difficult for both guests and waiters to pass through. The other sore point is the bathrooms, 1 for women and 1 for men, all accessible from the same entrance which, despite the efforts of the staff, I leave you to imagine... Furthermore, the disabled bathroom had a broken door with a There was no baby changing table, and it wasn't even very clean, which made it difficult for a relative of mine to get in. Another negative note was the dirty outdoor sofas, so much so that some of my guests who were seated during the favor delivery left with dirty clothes. And the division of the spaces wasn't optimal, because even though we were careful to immediately express our preference for a gazebo where we could enjoy an aperitif and take photos of the cake and the favor delivery, the guests from the other party were crowded right next to us, giving us no privacy and preventing us from taking photos as we wished. During the aperitif, which included appetizers, prosecco, and juice, there was no water (yesterday it was 34 degrees), but after several requests and being sent first inside, then outside, and back inside again, it finally arrived. With that in mind, I repeat, my criticism is constructive; the structure allows for it and the owner is very kind, but on these occasions, the details make the difference.

26/07/2025: There are experiences that you never forget, and the one we had in this restaurant is undoubtedly one of them. Together with my family, we found ourselves immersed in an authentic, warm and welcoming atmosphere, where every detail seemed designed to make us feel at home... but with something more: respect for tradition, love for cooking and a professionalism that is rarely encountered. As soon as we crossed the threshold, we were greeted by an impeccable staff: discreet, kind, present without ever being intrusive. A composure and care for the guest that struck us right away and that accompanied our entire stay, making it harmonious and relaxing. And then the food... how wonderful. Each dish told a story: that of their land, generous and full of authentic flavors. From the rich and fragrant appetizers, to the expertly prepared second courses, up to the desserts that left a smile on our lips... each bite was a little journey into this wonderful land rich in flavors and tradition. It is rare to find a place where the quality of the cuisine marries so well with the soul of the service and the beauty of the atmosphere. This restaurant gave us a precious moment, made of taste, human warmth and true tradition. We will return, without a doubt.

25/07/2025: Since it's impossible to give less than one star, I'm giving it one star. I've never received worse treatment. In Altamura, there are much, much, much better options.
