04/08/2024: Passing through to see Bari, we stopped for a quick lunch in this restaurant a little away from the chaos. The menu could be really interesting and the portions right, but the result is decidedly disappointing. Bland and without panache... I was thinking of something more given the reviews... but that wasn't the case...

12/08/2024: We ate very well with an excellent welcome, there is only room to improve on the local wines which are excellent and which unfortunately they don't have, I mean wines from the town, not from other neighboring towns, still very good

11/08/2024: We stopped for lunch during a trip and we ate very well, with excellent and tasty dishes. We tasted both land and sea appetizers, all excellent! Then two really fantastic first courses, well done!

23/07/2024: One of the top meals I had in the region during my recent trip to Italy. I even got a chance to talk to Chef Mirko and his dad a little. Their tasting menu options are flexible, so I did their choose-whichever-you-want and took 4 dishes and added a dessert. 62 euros for dinner June 2024, very reasonably priced. I tried their uovo purgatorio, the squid ink and seafood ravioli (so good!), the salted eggnog sauce on a stuffed lamb donut, the pork belly with carrot sauce and anise (most delicious plate of the night), and their chocolate and peanut tart. The only thing a bit off was the tart because when it crumbled, the entire crust fell apart and it wasn't fused to the filling, so you had to work to get a bite of everything. Nonetheless, this place is very worth it to visit Lucera.

19/05/2024: Da Foggia cercavamo un posto vicino per una cena di un certo livello e abbiamo trovato questo posticino a Lucera che ci ha conquistati. Dietro ogni piatto c'è studio, lavoro, conoscenza, ma in primis passione, quella dello chef Mirko, ma anche della sua famiglia. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente, godendo di una vera e propria esperienza e l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo è solo la ciliegina sulla torta. Torneremo sicuramente e nel frattempo a colui che si definisce un "coquus" non possiamo che augurare "fortuna major"!

14/07/2024: Abbiamo festeggiato i 18 anni di mia figlia l’8 luglio. Nulla poteva essere più perfetto: location stupenda, buffet ottimo, vario e abbondante, arricchito da un primo piatto super gradito dai ragazzi, il deejay ha fatto ballare gli invitati dal primo all’ultimo minuto, il personale sempre attento e disponibile. Un grazie particolare al titolare Edo De Giorgi ed a tutto il suo staff. Per mia figlia la sua festa resterà indimenticabile e io non potrei chiedere altro .

17/08/2024: È la prima volta che si viene in questo locale, si decide insieme ad alcuni amici di trascorrere la serata in compagnia gustando una pizza, si chiama per effettuare la prenotazione dove una signora in modo cordiale ci conferma giornoe ora. Arrivati al locale, accogliente con un bel giardino caratteristico, alla comanda ci viene detto che non vengono servite pizze perché è stato deciso che nella settimana di ferragosto, le pizze vengono sospese ma solo primi e secondi. Ci prendono un po' alla sprovvista, uno perché volevamo la pizza, due perché ormai erano le 22 di sabato e non si poteva andare in nessun locale. La signora, dispiaciuta dell'inconveniente, ci comunicava che eravamo liberi di andare via. Fermo restando che a quell'ora di sabato sera è molto difficile trovare locali liberi, si decide di prendere delle fritture, che possiamo dire sono state ottime, come anche il polpo e una grigliata di carne, tutto eccellente. In conclusione, potrei lasciare 5 stelle, però sinceramente non me la sento perché hanno peccato: avrebbero dovuto scrivere sia sul sito che soprattutto alla telefonata di prenotazione che le pizze, per una scelta del locale, non venivano fatte in questa settimana. È fastidioso arrivare nel locale e sentirsi dire "o prendete quello che c'è da menù oppure siete liberi di andare via". Non è molto corretto, soprattutto per chi viene per la prima volta in questo locale. Poi non è vero che non ci si ha del tempo a disposizione per fare una semplice variazione sul sito o a comunicare per telefono. Tre stelle sono più che sufficienti.

02/08/2024: Excellent food. Quiet and welcoming environment just outside the tourist circuits. Attentive and kind staff. The tagliolini with octopus ragout and the excellent Sicilian caponata are absolutely worth trying. Spectacular tiramisu. A very pleasant discovery. Super recommended.

19/08/2024: The spaghetti sauce with the lobster tasted like it was made with parmesan cheese. Luckily the lobster was good. I consoled myself with that. Decent appetizer.

27/08/2024: We visited the restaurant twice and twice we experienced fantastic service and were served delicious, creative and fresh dishes. We can recommend the restaurant without exception. A great experience for vegetarians too. Even as tourists, we were greeted and welcomed like regular guests. A thoroughly great experience.

22/08/2024: Absolutely positive experience. Welcoming environment and staff too. The rooms were spacious, clean and served with everything you need. Professional people and it shows. I highly recommend it for those who want to stay in Salento in peace, eat well and move around the surrounding areas extremely easily.

28/08/2024: We were on holiday and during a day of touring in Bari I discovered this restaurant by chance. Excellent gluten free cuisine and more. From the appetizers to the desserts made by the owner who unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I remember that she is also celiac. I highly recommend it for celiac friends.

28/08/2024: I highly recommend. Welcoming, clean, excellent service. Those who are Celiac can rest assured here, they are certified. Bari has a wonderful seafront, we will return there in the next holidays

10/07/2024: In Oria it is a fixed stop for service, quality and professionalism. The internal arrangement is wonderful, with exposed tuff arches. Outside, a refined and welcoming space has been created. It deserves top marks without a doubt. We will definitely be back

03/09/2024: We came to this restaurant looking at other people's reviews online, I must say the best restaurant in Gallipoli I have tried especially for the quality. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a first course with the catch of the day that they offer on sight, we let ourselves be caught by a lobster and they made us a very good first course. The house starter is very rich and tasty, as is the dish with fresh raw meat. Honest quality and price! Absolutely worth trying, the place is always full so I recommend calling a few days in advance.

14/08/2024: A good welcome. The service is attentive and the managers are pleasant. The wine is good with a varied choice. but the overall experience is a bit disappointing. Of the 4 dishes we did not choose a single one. The shrimp carpaccio was good but lacked freshness (good quality but not cold enough). The pasta lacked flavor and the whole thing was a little bland. The fish dish did not go well with the spinach and sauce. We still had a good time but coming from Brittany we were a little disappointed by the flavors. The presentation is intended to be rather gastronomic but the promises are not there.

16/07/2024: I had planned to go to the evening reception of my nephew's wedding, keeping it light. I saw some places on Tripadvisor that could satisfy the purpose and the decision fell on Coco's Cafe. Small place, few demands, but explicit courtesy, enormous empathy. It is offered with two different sandwiches created by the owner... both "excellent". When you leave a restaurant satisfied with the quality of the dishes, the cost of the food, its cleanliness, the courtesy that has accompanied you over time, you can only say: "I WILL RETURN AT THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY"
