01/10/2025: Simply amazing!!! Delicious, filling, homemade Italian dishes, both with and without meat. The place isn't too eye-catching, but don't let that fool you. The interior is simply furnished. Behind the glass counter, numerous meals are displayed, all purchased individually. The taste is incredible. The dishes are perfectly seasoned and filling – I ate much more than I needed because it was so delicious. The prices are commensurate with the quality and quantity. The staff is friendly, smiling, and engaging in conversation. As for the owners, we communicate in Italian or via Google Translate – it's very helpful. I highly recommend this place, and if the opportunity arises, I'll eat here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

14/10/2025: TOURISTS, MIND THE BILL We began our lunch around 1:00 PM by ordering two appetizers from "Hostaria La Serra" for three to share, as recommended by the host, before ordering the rest. The host was very friendly from the start... perhaps a little too friendly, in hindsight. Around 1:50 PM, with a flight to catch, we realized we had to interrupt the delivery of the remaining appetizer (still in progress) and couldn't order anything else. In addition to the two appetizers (from the menu, €16 each, €32 total, which we intended to pay in full despite not being able to finish them), we ordered a bottle of still water (€3), a small bottled beer (€3), and a coffee (€1), in addition to a €2.50 cover charge per person (€7.50). At the checkout, satisfied with the quality of the food and confused by the host's friendly chatter, we paid €55 in cash without thinking twice. Once in the car, we realized the bill didn't add up and that we didn't even have a proof of purchase to check the bill. Unable to go back, we decided to call politely and ask for an explanation. The call seemed garbled and confusing, and we were told we'd receive a photo on WhatsApp with the billing details. Two days later, we still haven't received anything. In conclusion: the food was good, but we were very disappointed by the lack of clarity on the bill. Therefore, don't be as naive as we were and check before paying and leaving, especially if you've made the mistake of telling the host you're not a local.

10/10/2025: September 2024 I've been to this restaurant a year later and I must confirm everything I've said previously. Some family members joined me, and I took them to this "little treasure," letting them taste not only the spaghetti cacio e pepe, but also the breaded porcini mushrooms and the famous rib-eye steak... a delicious piece of meat cooked to perfection. Needless to say, the quality of the service and their responsiveness to our requests are second to none. For me, I classify it as an "essential" stop for anyone visiting Salento for a gastronomic experience. Fernando, I'm from Bari, which isn't around the corner. I'll try to convince my wife to stay in your "castle." September 2025 I usually come to eat at this restaurant during the period (late September, early October) when I'm taking my spa treatments. I reiterate my empathy for this place, to Fernando and his staff. This time I had lunch, while the others had dinner, and even though it was almost past 12:15, they gave me the attention a customer notices. They offered me spaghetti cacio e pepe with porcini mushrooms, a Grigglestone cube roll, wine, and a digestif. Price is relative when the dishes are exceptionally flavorful and prepared. I certainly didn't pay cheap, but if you compare the price to the quality of the food, the location, and the service... 03/10/2025: A good hotel with modern amenities. The service is efficient. The rooms are quiet, spacious, and functional. The meals are good, especially breakfast with a wide selection of homemade cakes and pastries.

The cuisine is fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired – from fresh pasta to perfectly prepared fish and meat. Particularly impressive is the head chef, Salvatore, who continually conjures up new culinary surprises with passion and skill. The cooking here is done with heart and soul – and you can taste it in every bite! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, typically Italian, and ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The service is attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making you feel immediately welcome. A must-try: the antipasti, homemade pasta, and desserts – a poem! 🍷🍝 👉 Conclusion: If you're in Supersano (or the surrounding area), you have to eat here. 03/09/2025: I ordered a Margherita pizza with stracciatella and sausage. When it arrived, I was amazed. It was completely white and full of milk, just how I like it! Compared to other pizzerias that make absolutely awful pizzas. The rest of the flavor was exceptional, everything fresh. I've tried other pizzas, too, and they're all good. I also ordered the mousse, and it came with whipped cream and sugar decorations. A wonderful place. The service and staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: A warm welcome. Excellent food. Two nights in a row, I was treated to bombette, tagliata, and sirloin steak. Everything was top-quality. The price was also excellent.

11/10/2025: Cold takeaway pizza, even if ordered at the agreed time, and also not having the menu at hand, I ordered a pizza specifying the ingredients (Ciccio bresaola, rocket and parmesan 9) and paid €1 more than the same pizza with the menu name (Ciccio Bressa 8)
