18/08/2025: We ate here during a day trip. Everything was very good and fresh, the staff was friendly and polite, and the prices were fair. The only flaw, which for me ruined the whole experience, was the behavior of the small, chubby waitress with glasses. She was the only one who acted rudely, and I'm sorry to say we heard her speak badly of other customers. It's a shame that a place with so much potential has someone like this ruining the atmosphere. We'll definitely return, but we hope we never have to see her again.

13/11/2025: The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the avenue leading to Cavour Castle. The restaurant is simple, welcoming, and tidy. The menu offers traditional, home-style dishes, from appetizers to dessert, everything is delicious. The price is more than fair, especially considering the strategic location, which could have kept prices a bit higher. Highly recommended.

06/11/2025: The two stars are only for something good we tasted. The place is cold in its welcome and decor. No one smiles (in fact, as soon as we arrived, we were scolded for supposedly being late, which wasn't even our fault; they didn't even ask our name before the scolding), no one seems to enjoy welcoming those who want to try the local cuisine or offer explanations. The stew was very good, the ravioli completely tasteless without salt or sage. All this to say that in a place with such a location, you'd expect that little bit more. Honestly, after a wonderful visit to the castle, the enthusiasm of the day waned at this restaurant.

05/08/2025: Nei nostri frequenti viaggi in Piemonte é una tappa obbligatoria. Anche quanto é affollato si é sempre ben accolti e serviti. Assolutamente da provare la battuta di fassona al coltello e i tagliolini al ragu di salsiccia. Ottimi i vini proposti anche come degustazione. Prezzi più che onesti. Complimenti.

28/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante (che è anche wine bar e residence) che era già tardi ma siamo state fortunate e c’era un tavolo libero per mangiare. La sistemazione nella corte centrale del palazzo è stata sicuramente suggestiva fin dall’inizio e il servizio si è distinto per la professionalità e cortesia. Io sono intollerante al siero di latte e la mia amica è celiaca e il personale ha saputo venire incontro alle nostre esigenze garantendoci un pranzo ricco oltre che tranquillo. Consigliato.

27/03/2025: Sono stato oggi 27 marzo 2025 a pranzo con un gruppo di 45 persone. Avevo sempre sentito elogiare questo ristorante come un posto dove si mangia molto bene. Oggi invece è stata una grande delusione. Questo il menu : Un tortino per antipasto ( difficile da digerire), un risotto, una fettina di arrosto con due pezzi di patate ed un cucchiaio di spinaci. Dolce finalmente buono. Vino solo rosso, acqua e caffè. Il tutto a 35 euro a persona ! Devo invece elogiare la simpatia e velocità della cameriera .

28/09/2025: On Sunday, returning from the Carabinieri holiday in Fossano, we stopped for lunch at Cate and Maria. A simple place, but well-prepared cuisine, from the cold cuts platter and fried gnocco (abundant) to the tagliatelle with pork rib ragù (the sauce also included a delicious rib) to the borage ravioli with fresh tomato sauce, truly excellent. The desserts were excellent! If you're passing through Fossano, stop by—you won't regret it.

21/05/2025: I really feel like recommending this optician for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. I have very high myopia and finding a professional who knows how to deal with this type of need with competence is not always easy. In this case, however, I was followed with great attention from the very first moment. I was made glasses with Tokai 1.76 Biasferiche Lutina fine edge Super USC lenses, a very high level both in technical and aesthetic terms. Despite my significant visual defect, the lenses are incredibly thin, light and elegant in appearance, and the final result went far beyond my expectations. The doctor was able to advise me with great care and patience, answering all my questions and guiding me in the best choice for my needs. His technical expertise, combined with sincere kindness, really make the difference. Thanks again for the excellent service!

30/06/2025: Visitato più volte in occasione dei miei giri in bicicletta. Ogni volta noto porzioni sempre più scarse e prezzi sempre più alti. Buoni i primi, ma in porzioni minime per una Locanda. Ho voluto provare l'Antipasto Piemontese: un cucchiaino di verdure sottolio, uno di insalata russa insipida e una piccola tartina con acciuga e salsa rossa. Più che un antipasto lo chiamerei stuzzichino. i

28/06/2025: Siamo stati in questa locanda su consiglio del proprietario dell'alloggio in cui stavamo. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, Il personale è stato gentile sebbene fossimo arrivati con mezz'ora di ritardo. Consiglio i formaggi che sono di loro produzione!

03/08/2025: Family Sunday with kids. The food at this agriturismo is exceptional! Excellent value for money. Various activities for children and adults alike. Nearby is the agrilbar nestled in the woods, run by the same family, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, with a mini adventure park for kids and a large play area. The ideal location for a day out.

06/10/2025: An authentic trattoria, one that preserves the spirit of Piedmontese cuisine without frills. Here, everything is done to perfection: from the warm welcome to the courteous and precise service, to the generous and flavorful dishes. The menu is a journey through local traditions: a mix of hot and cold appetizers, two first courses, a second course with side dish, assorted desserts, water, and house wine. All at a fair price. A pleasantly surprising quality-to-quantity ratio. The dining room smells of ragù and fresh pasta, and the terrace offers relaxing, family-friendly moments. Kudos to the owners and all the staff: highly recommended.

27/08/2025: This accommodation offers apartments and rooms. We had a very well-appointed duplex apartment. The view was splendid. Quiet. Excellent bed. Fully equipped kitchen. It's located in a perfectly renovated building in an ancient village. Possible excursions starting directly from the property. Friendly and responsive staff. The restaurant was also good, although we expected something more, but it was still decent. The road up is quite winding and has a few potholes.

22/08/2025: Special Silence is the main ingredient, followed by the fantastic location overlooking the valleys, close to the Cyclamen Trail; a wonderful stopover, an exclusive stay. The property is very well managed, both in terms of the rooms/apartments and the common areas, from the pool to the restaurant; this, in addition to the friendliness, helpfulness, and discretion of the entire staff.

05/07/2025: I recently went to Pizzeria Da Tony and was really impressed. I ordered a quattro stagioni pizza which was delicious, with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. A small suggestion to further enhance the experience would be to add some relaxing background music, which in my opinion would help create an even more welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, which always makes the difference and helps make the visit a real pleasure. In summary: a must try!

04/11/2025: A very eclectic, timeless, and super friendly decor, with a very warm welcome. Victor serves you with a constant smile... 👍👍👍 Good food. A little out of the way, but it's easy to get back down the boulevard to the main square and the old town.

31/10/2025: When we arrived around 10:30 PM, we asked if the kitchen was open. The guys looked at each other and agreed to our request, seating us. They were very kind. Excellent place, perfect for people like us, in our 50s, who were looking for a place to eat! Excellent food. Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: Sono stata ieri con un gruppo . Abbiamo visitato sia la stalla che il caseificio visita molto interessante. A seguire c'è stato un pranzo a dir poco da oscar...tante portate tutte buone e,cosa non da poco, non ci hanno lasciato appesantiti perché fatte con materie di ottima qualità. Poi che dire dei loro formaggi??? E per finire ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Tornerò sicuramente Ornella Genova
