19/01/2025: I have known Langotto for over 2 years now. It has always been very good and the development is getting better and better. Refined Piedmont cuisine with a French touch. What Otto Luca and Elisa Andreotti have built there is fantastic. In the Michelin star range for me.

12/01/2025: Restaurant discovered by chance while searching online, nice place with a view of the Langhe del Barolo (we were there for dinner but the favorable position with the view was clear). Let's start with a note of merit for the kindness and availability of the waitress, the owner and, above all, the chef; the latter was very attentive to our needs (personalized menu without meat) and appreciated in the presentation of the dishes. As for the cuisine, we chose 5 surprise courses, all with great attention to detail both in terms of raw materials and presentation. Special mention to the scallops with Jerusalem artichoke sauce and Cavour-style artichoke, truly superlative. The dessert was also very good, cream puffs filled with mandarin sorbet accompanied by a hot chocolate cream. Extensive wine list. Absolutely balanced quality/price ratio Recommended for those who want to try more refined Piedmontese cuisine with an appreciated French influence. Congratulations indeed

The trio of starters was very good, the artichoke tagliatelle was also very popular. Delicious second courses and zabaglione to finish on a high note. 26/02/2025: Il giorno di San Valentino ci siamo regalati un' ottima degustazione del fritto misto alla piemontese. Calorosa è stata l'accoglienza da parte del Sig. Enrico che con tanta passione ci ha descritto i piatti che abbiamo assaporato. Ottimo servizio prestato da tutto il personale di sala che ci ha coccolato durante il pranzo.

19/02/2025: Per il nostro matrimonio ci è stato regalato un buono per poter provare il Fritto Misto (valore del buono 250€, per due persone). Abbiamo prenotato con circa 45 giorni di anticipo, e abbiamo fatto i salti mortali per arrivare alle 12.30, come richiesto, per iniziare poi il servizio alle ore 13. Il locale non è molto grande, i tavoli sono molto comodi (mi pare una decina), con tovagliato in lungo. Purtroppo i servizi igienici per disabili (o per chi ha difficoltà a muoversi) non ci sono, in quanto sono al piano inferiore (senza montascale, ascensore, montacarichi...) e per questo livello di servizio mi pare una pecca. Il personale non manca, anche se il fritto (quel giorno si mangiava solo il fritto misto) viene servito impiattato. C'è un sommelier giovane, sorridente ed appassionato del suo lavoro, alla ricerca di etichette nuove, e fa ben sperare per un futuro prossimo; tra i camerieri la più motivata è l'unica giovane donna, che riesce a trasmettere anche del suo nel servizio. Eravamo in due a pranzo, agli opposti come esperienza: tutto noto per uno e tutto sconosciuto per l'altra, quindi è stato molto interessante lo scambio di impressioni, tra chi non aveva mai mangiato il classico Fritto Misto e chi invece aveva ben presente la storia del piatto già dagli anni '70. A gruppi di 4, vengono portati i vari pezzi che compongono il menu (foto allegata), con salsine di accompagnamento, ii cui abbinamenti vengono suggeriti al cliente. Ho ritrovato, tra i tanti pezzi del fritto, i batsoà (i piedini di maiale cotti, poi disossati e impanati, che, se vengono serviti freddi, diventano i famosi "nervetti"), le grive (carne e fegato di maiale con spezie e ginepro, poi calzate nella rete di omento del maiale e fritte), la cervella, i filoni, le animelle, il cuore, le creste di gallo, il semolino dolce, l'amaretto... Alcuni pezzi sono (per me) un po' grandi in proporzione al resto, come la bistecca alla milanese (che non si sapeva se era vitello o maiale) che tutti ben conosciamo. Ci vuole tempo e pazienza, ma si arriva alla fine, perchè dopo i primi tre grandi piatti le porzioni si riducono. C'è a metà pasto un break salvifico con una bella insalatina, ed un sorbetto con piccola pasticceria a fine pasto. E' stato da un lato un tuffo nel passato con un Fritto Misto che forse non ha molti eguali in zona (se ne trovate, segnalatemelo), ed una scoperta per chi aveva solo sentito raccontare dalla zia i piatti della tradizione.

03/02/2025: Nos alojamos en este restaurante con habitaciones en noviembre pasado. Las habitaciones, un apartamento y una habitación doble eran excelentes. Impecablemente limpio y cálido. La comida para los 5 de nosotros fue excepcional. Todos los cursos eran generosos y totalmente deliciosos. El personal era amable y eficiente. No tenemos ninguna duda en reservar de nuevo este mes de marzo si podemos pasar. Mi hija y nietos viven en Piamonte, este es nuestro restaurante favorito hasta ahora. Solíamos comer aquí hace muchos años cuando había un propietario anterior, la calidad de la comida y el servicio es igual de alta.

13/01/2025: Ci siamo trovati così bene che se ci fossimo fermati più tempo nelle langhe sarebbe stato il nostro ristorante serale, ma siamo riusciti a cenare solo nei 2 giorni trascorsi per il nostro weekend. Walter ci ha consigliato e trattato molto bene, qualità del cibo ottima. So moer l'è en gran braa a fa le turte.
