11/09/2025: Returning to this restaurant after several years was truly amazing! The restaurant, run by the two sisters, is very well-maintained and has a truly spectacular outdoor area. Everything is well-curated. A lovely menu, one prix fixe and one à la carte, with reasonable prices. The dishes are carefully prepared and very tasty. The homemade desserts are beautifully presented and very inviting. Stop by for lunch or dinner... a truly lovely place 🥰

30/09/2025: How disappointing!! We couldn't have lunch at this restaurant because they don't allow dogs. I should point out that two weeks earlier they had told me there was no problem, but today a very rude lady, perhaps the owner, told me she didn't like it. In the meantime, I suggest you come to an agreement. Secondly, we are astonished that in 2025 they don't allow dogs, but perhaps rude families incapable of training their children to sit at the table!!!

12/10/2025: Wonderful place! We chose it for our wedding. The cuisine is delicious, carefully crafted, and original. The rooms are perfect for an overnight stay. Nature, tranquility, and a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Ivan organized everything perfectly.

26/07/2025: A classy restaurant that uses top-quality ingredients, many of which are locally sourced. We ate divinely! Not to mention the price, which is proportional to the quality and kindness.

13/10/2025: September 27, 2025, we booked a table for four at 9:30 PM on Saturday. The table was ready, but we had to wait about 50 minutes after ordering due to a very long table, a birthday celebration, and the delivery service is always large! The pizza is always good, even the gluten-free one is excellent, and best of all, it arrives at the same time as the regular ones! The place is small and a bit noisy when there's a table there.

01/10/2025: Small place but great quality. The pizza dough is different from anything I've ever had, and it's very good. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Turin.

10/10/2025: The food and service were disappointing after all the reviews, and the service was also very lacking. The wine wasn't very good. The bread had too little butter. The atmosphere was mediocre, the paintings didn't match, and the screens were plastic.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Turin, in an elegant and welcoming setting, perfect for a special occasion. The traditional Piedmontese cuisine is simply extraordinary: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors that reflect the local tradition. The service was impeccable, attentive and friendly, always with a smile. Each course arrived on time and beautifully presented. The warm and refined atmosphere made the evening even more unforgettable. I recommend La Badessa to anyone who wants to experience authentic Piedmontese cuisine in the heart of Turin. A place truly deserving of 5 stars ❤️

08/10/2025: While I never give five stars to my first meal, I found this restaurant to be a very pleasant surprise. The location is beautifully renovated, the service is prompt, courteous, and with a touch of humanity that never hurts, and the cuisine is excellent and reasonably priced. The wine list emphasizes local products. Highly recommended.

22/09/2025: The best choice I could have made for an anniversary dinner. An intimate venue, meticulously maintained and clean down to the smallest detail. Excellent quality ingredients for tasty and satisfying dishes. Extraordinarily friendly staff. A magical evening, thank you. We'll be back for the view, because yesterday, between darkness and rain, it was the only thing we couldn't enjoy.

28/05/2025: Even though it is a place a little out of this world, it doesn't need advertising because on any Tuesday in May I was there it was practically full, and it is not that small. In any case, it is a real restaurant that at lunchtime weekly has a fixed menu like a trattoria (complete at 13 euros in May 2025), a wide and good choice of dishes, right portions and restaurant quality, decent bulk wine but for those who want to spend a little more there is a nice choice of bottles of local wines (Ovada doc area).

08/10/2025: I finally got to try Marisa's cuisine. A very pleasant and spacious place with adequate space between tables [you won't find those stuffy rooms with tables and chairs all packed together]. Even though it was a weekday lunch, I had to wait a moment, and only at the end did I understand why the room was crowded. I started with a pleasant appetizer, followed by ravioli with butter and sage and [this is the highlight] wild boar and baby potatoes, finishing with a slice of really good cake. This was my menu, but I could have chosen between other first courses and three other second courses and side dishes. The service was quick but not rushed. Accompanied by a good dose of friendliness from the wait staff: always attentive and never intrusive. In the end, I ended up paying a very competitive price for lunch, including water, ½ liter of wine, and coffee, below my expectations... between €10 and €20, but very close to €10. However, don't let the price distract you... it's the taste of the food you're offered that's truly worth it. I'll try it again, especially since I've been told the gnocchi are a different kind of dish. Finally, the view doesn't hurt: airy and lush with greenery. If you're looking to treat yourself to a Sunday lunch, I've been advised to book well in advance. Congratulations to everyone.

12/10/2025: Sunday lunch with a set menu (actually, some modifications are possible). Excellent food, friendly service, and an exceptional location. The last stretch of road isn't the most pleasant, but it's well worth it.

15/09/2025: A family lunch in a relaxed, quality atmosphere. It's not my first time eating here, and I must say I've always had a great experience. In fact, I keep coming back :-). Very good value for money, and you can even order a second round (fixed menu). The staff is friendly and helpful. Finally, the view is complete with lounge chairs and outdoor relaxation. From the restaurant, you can also take walks of varying lengths. Parking and e-bike charging are available.

23/10/2025: We went there for lunch on the last Sunday of September on our way back from the village of babaci. The place is very quaint and the food is superb. Chef Maurizio listed every course served and even stopped to joke with our daughter, exchanging jokes. The recommended wines were also excellent. Warm regards to Maurizio from our little Federica.
