The owner is incredibly kind, always welcoming and attentive. 11/10/2025: A dinner with light and shade at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was courteous and attentive, which is already a good start. However, the dinner was a mixed experience: some dishes were truly successful and offered balanced and interesting flavors, while others left us a bit perplexed. The problem wasn't personal taste, but rather the lack of clarity in communicating the ingredients and the logic behind the dishes. In a restaurant of this caliber, one expects a more complete experience, one that encompasses not just technique and flavors, but also narrative and a coherent approach. While I enjoyed some aspects of the dinner, I believe there is considerable room for improvement. I hope the restaurant can work on communication and consistency of the dishes to offer a more engaging and understandable experience. I will gladly return to see if they've improved.

10/10/2025: The overcrowded kitchen. Chefs and commissars step on each other's toes. Service with a very talented Manager who is left to her own devices. There are only the ArchiChefs, but the front of house staff isn't given the proper weight. They don't understand that by doing this, they're losing customer attention and most likely a portion of the operating margin due to lower revenues!

13/08/2025: Everything was excellent: very fresh fish, well-cooked and delivered. Even the limited menu shows attention to quality. The appetizer deserves a special mention: tuna and tomato. I won't give away any spoilers: try it!

11/07/2025: We just had dinner here. The food was delicious, and the prices were average. I'd say it's a place worth visiting, especially since finding good seafood restaurants isn't easy.

05/10/2025: I had dinner there the night before last with my family and I have to say good things about this place. The food was very good, obviously meat-based, and very tasty and well-prepared. The service was very good, and the atmosphere, although small, was quite nice. The only two negatives, unfortunately, are the parking—there's only 3 spaces inside the courtyard, and it's a matter of luck on the street—and the restrooms, which are outside and not very adequate for a restaurant. The quality/price ratio is adequate, and I'll definitely be back.

03/10/2025: We went last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, top-quality. We tried a little bit of everything and it was all very satisfying. The service was excellent, we will definitely be back.

31/08/2025: We sat outside to eat a crepe. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, we got up to cancel our order and leave. Not even an apology, not even a goodbye, not even a smile. Nothing. It's a shame the service is so poor; the place is very nice. But we won't be back.

04/10/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff, attentive to their guests' needs. Excellent cuisine, both for the pizzas, strictly pan-fried, and the appetizers, including excellent fried porcini mushrooms and porcini ravioli with Bra sausage, both excellent.

19/10/2025: I have not tried the hotel service but as far as the restaurant is concerned, everything is top notch, a charming place with cellar-style brick sections with a very large display of wines and typical dishes, excellent quality of raw materials as well as the service, the price is good for the quality of the food eaten, recommended

18/10/2025: Terrible welcome. We arrived, and after we sat down, two waiters arrived and, in a very rude tone, told us that our reservation hadn't been recorded, even though I'd booked a month in advance. When I stated that I was sure and wasn't making anything up, they rudely replied, "We've had people make up reservations, so I can't be sure." After showing me the call I'd made on their phone, they admitted their mistake, but given the rudeness with which they addressed us without us explaining why, we would have expected at least a complimentary glass of wine or a liqueur, but instead, nothing. I should point out that I'm a local, and this isn't the typical Langhe hospitality; I understand the stressful situation, but as a healthcare professional, I can assure you that in a restaurant, you're not saving anyone's life, so there's no reason to be so rude to polite customers.

08/06/2025: Delicious wine shop that offers a variety of excellent wines, not to mention the fantastic Gin Aroma of its own production. You can't miss stopping by if you are passing through Tortona. Furthermore, the food proposals are excellent and of the highest quality. I will always and only return there when I happen to be in those parts again.

18/10/2025: For lunch, there's always a business lunch menu for €15, including wine, water, and coffee. I forgot... it's also available on Saturdays! Excellent value, highly recommended!

17/10/2025: The restaurant is very simple and located in a village in the countryside, but well known given the other customers. We had the tasting menu: excellent. The dishes were generous and reasonably priced considering the three courses plus dessert, water, wine, and coffee. The waitress was very kind and friendly, although always rushed because the place was packed. They make special dishes such as cod, snails, etc. by reservation. I highly recommend it!!

23/09/2025: Tried it on the evening of September 19, 2025. The restaurant is located in the quaint little village of Champlas Janvier, in the former stables of a beautifully renovated chalet. The interior is very welcoming and tasteful. The owner welcomed us with great courtesy and friendliness. After a complimentary aperitif, we had appetizers of raw meat carpaccio and a salad of celery, walnuts, and parmesan shavings. Everything was excellent. We continued with superb homemade cheese gnocchi and a seasonal soup. For dessert, a chestnut parfait was also excellent. We left very satisfied. We will definitely return to try other dishes in such a comfortable setting.

12/08/2025: A truly positive experience. We spent a pleasant evening in a truly lovely, spacious, bright, and welcoming place that certainly fostered conviviality. The staff is young, patient, and sociable, and we were impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. The menu is just the right amount of variety; the dishes offered aren't overwhelming, and you won't get lost in the numerous options. The dishes are excellent. We tried the burgers, which are offered in unique and delicious ways. The portions are generous, and the quality of the cured meats and cheese platter is also good. A special mention goes to the desserts, although perhaps it would be helpful to offer the classic, less elaborate versions as well, so everyone can try them, as they aren't particularly good. Overall, a very positive experience.

26/10/2025: An excellent restaurant run by a talented young chef. The small, welcoming dining room seats about 25-30; reservations are required. The menu features sophisticated dishes and the wine list is excellent, with a predominantly French selection. Prices are in line with the location, but the wine selection makes the difference.

16/10/2025: Really nice place! ✨Refined and very unique dishes, even if the menu isn't very varied, let's just say they're not the most common things, but in the end we fully appreciated everything we ate! 🎅🏻❤️

16/10/2025: We stayed at this agriturismo last weekend: the owners were kind and courteous, and the food was excellent value for money. The zero-mile menu preparation is noteworthy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

21/09/2025: We wanted to find a real agriturismo, where we could spend a few days in peace and enjoy good food, and at Zi' Michele we found it. Spacious rooms, divine cuisine, incredibly kind owners, excellent prices, and easy to get to. I highly recommend it.
