AMAZING! WARNING: It's addictive. Dinner based on a pizza tour! The pizza tour is only for 4 people or more...we were 3 and they were kindly able to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat pizza option. VENUE: Clean, tidy, welcoming, and with two rooms (the second downstairs), ideal for dinners with many people. STAFF: Kind, helpful, and smiling. PIZZA: Outrageously good! I'm from the South, and I'm very critical of pizza. As a welcome, they serve you a plate of chiacchere (a lardon) with a cascade of prosciutto crudo and slices of lard (a lot). The pizza here is truly good. Perfectly cooked, soft and light dough, good-quality ingredients, bold flavors like the amazing 'nduja + gorgonzola + Tropea onion, or delicate flavors like the delicious zucchini + cooked ham (NOT shoulder or low-quality prosciutto). The timing is perfect; you don't have to wait forever, but they don't overwhelm you with repeated courses either. They give you just the right amount of time to enjoy your pizza before serving you another. You can decide whether to have the pizza chef make it (like we did) or request a pizza of your choice. And then the final bonus: chatting over Nutella like there's no tomorrow, coffee (good) and amaro/limoncelli, etc. PARKING: A few meters from the restaurant, there's a large (free) parking lot with white lines for cars. CONCLUSIONS: A truly enjoyable evening with a lovely, truly delicious meal in the piazza (not like many other pizza places with scant ingredients and shameful dough). PRICE: Low! €57 for three people including a pizza, water, and three draft beers for €0.50. About €19 per person...but WELL SPENT!! P.S.: The table behind us ordered a "zizzona di mozzarella" as big as a child's head! Wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Fabio

Top pizza, very kind staff and beautiful place

A nice place with decent food. They do a pizza round, though we didn't try it. We wanted to order the Zizzona di Battipaglia, but they didn't have it, so they offered us four large buffalo mozzarellas. As a Caserta native, I have to say I wasn't entirely sold on the mozzarella: it was floury on the inside, which true buffalo mozzarella generally isn't. Perhaps it wasn't stored properly; for example, buffalo mozzarella from Campania shouldn't be refrigerated. Everything else, however, was very good: the fried gnocco, the pizza slices of various flavors served with mozzarella, the lard, the desserts, etc. The free limoncello and myrtle after-dinner drinks were also very popular. The place isn't very big, but it's nice, but my problem is that the small rooms in the basement, with a narrow staircase to get down, haven't made me feel very comfortable lately. I'd go back, but I'd ask for a table upstairs. 😅 It's also convenient that it's a place where parking is quite easy to find.

"Pleasant atmosphere and good pizza, thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The ingredients are plentiful and of good quality, the service is efficient and friendly, and the prices are generally reasonable. Unfortunately, however, there is one sore point that left a bitter taste in my mouth: the wine. We ordered 1/2 liter of white wine (listed at €8 on the menu), only asking for it to be non-sparkling. Once home, looking at the receipt, we noticed that we were charged €16. If we were served a fine wine instead of the wine, they should have specified this when ordering. The bill: 2 covers €3; 1 vegetarian €10; 1 Bismarck €9 (+ €1 for adding onion); 1 medium beer €5; 1/2 liter white wine €16; 2 coffees €4. TOTAL: €48." PS: I'm adding this little note following the owner's response. I didn't ask for an explanation and didn't receive a refund. As I wrote, I noticed it at home and certainly wasn't going back to ask for an explanation. Mea culpa, the receipt needs to be checked immediately. That said, if this happens again, it means something isn't working properly in the waiters' communication process. Until next time! Anyway, I gave you 4 stars; I wasn't resentful :-)

I've been there before, the pizza is always good, the staff is friendly, and the house offers myrtle and limoncello.
