12/03/2026: What can I say? Everything was perfect. I had no doubts, my friend Enzo is a guarantee when it comes to restaurants.
28/02/2026: An intimate, family-friendly restaurant, it feels like dining in the living room of a welcoming home. The service is very attentive and attentive, especially given the small number of tables, which ensures a particularly quiet atmosphere.
As for the food, I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled. The food wasn't bad, but honestly, I would have expected a little more in terms of flavor and creativity. The wine list, however, is impressive: there's a selection of well-known labels, but I recommend trying the ones produced directly from their cellar.

21/02/2026: We went for dinner. I only have one comment: WOW!!! The location is S.T.R.E.P.I.T.O.S.A., super original: a contemporary revamp of an old building renovated in wood, brick, and metal. Simple, traditional dishes are paired with a wine list that reads more like an encyclopedia. We ordered the egg in cocote, veal in tuna sauce, gnocchi, and tajarin with porcini mushrooms, and finished with a caramel bonet and a barrique grappa, all washed down with a nice bottle of Dogliani. €90. Honest and pleasant. Very fast service. Bread basket with grissoni, focaccia, and spectacular bread. If you pass through Monforte and don't try it, you'll miss out on a piece of the Langhe.

08/03/2026: The best vitello tonnato I've had in Turin! I recommend it especially to those who find it too heavy, because at La Badessa it will be a light memory that you'll take home with you as much as the wonderful piazza in which it's located.
I also recommend the knife-cut tartare and the zabaglione.
All washed down, of course, with a glass of excellent Barbera.
The prices are absolutely in line with the quality, and not least with the friendly service.
Finally, the amaro della Badessa, herbs and flowers, is a must-try.
We'll see you again soon.
08/03/2026: Great meal and wine. Chose the vegetarian set menu. Very good quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor in the basement room was different but quite quirky.

27/03/2026: The cuisine was more than excellent, I'd say excellent. The place was very pleasant, a chic trattoria that's more of a restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly. The only flaw was that we waited 50 minutes for the Albanese, which, given that it was raw meat, seemed excessive. And since we had an hour for lunch, we couldn't enjoy other courses, or even dessert or coffee. The artichoke flan arrived promptly and was excellent too! Maybe they'd be quicker for dinner. We'll definitely return when we have more time. Prices are in line with the quality.

20/11/2025: Eating at this restaurant is a truly unique experience. The place itself is unusual, and the owner even more so.
The concept:
- No menu; the menu is presented verbally, and you choose between three primis and secondis. For the antipasti, you'll have several dishes laid out on the table in a relaxed, informal style. * A nice touch is the middle course with a spoonful of gorgonzola!
- Prices range from 50 to 60 euros per person, including wine.
Please note: cash only!
Everything was delicious, and Luciano's wonderful atmosphere was a real highlight! A must-visit, but book well in advance.
