13/01/2026: "An excellent experience in every way" We had lunch on Saturday with my family and couldn't have asked for anything better. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to even the smallest details, making us feel right at home. The cuisine was a real discovery: Appetizers: The "Tris Gran Piemonte" is unmissable. Incredibly tender veal with tuna sauce, Fassona tartare, and Bra sausage were simply superb. The platter of cured meats and cheeses from the valley was also formidable. First courses: The Piedmontese agnolotti with roast gravy and tagliolini with venison white ragù were exquisite, rich in flavor, and beautifully cooked. The quality-price-quantity ratio is phenomenal and perfectly balanced. It's undoubtedly one of the best places we've ever eaten. I recommend Bardosteria to everyone, especially for enjoying a meal surrounded by snow in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

30/10/2025: As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a sense of "family" and hospitality. The owners are friendly and always smiling. The staff is ready to listen to your requests and offer recommendations based on your personal tastes. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about; it's simply breathtaking. Excellent, high-quality ingredients.

22/02/2026: 🍽️ La Caletta Restaurant Lunch that reconnects with the sea. Homemade spaghetti with sea urchins and crab: full, authentic flavor, without being forced. Grilled tuna, tenderer than butter—perfectly cooked, raw ingredients you can taste. Delicious paranza, fried dry as it should be. An Erbaluce di Caluso to accompany it, balanced and pleasant. Carefully prepared desserts. Coffee to match. The price? No need to ask when quality and service are this good. You come here to eat well. And you leave satisfied.

16/02/2026: We were greeted with professionalism... the appetizers were good and very tasty... the first courses were good but without any fuss... as for the fried fish, we were disappointed; the fried food was dry and crunchy, the only positive note... but the variety of fish was limited to one shrimp and a few squid rings and the rest were anchovies... on the plate there was a paper cone that had absolutely nothing to do with the proposal... and I must add that €25 per dish seems really a lot to me... in any case, we had a good time... but making do...

05/01/2026: The pizza, besides arriving on time and piping hot, was truly delicious, better than I've had in a long time, and I think it's the best takeout I've had in Novara. We celebrated my son's birthday, and of the nine pizzas we ordered, only the boxes remained! I thought it was right to point this out because it's only right to give credit where credit is due. 04/01/2026: In the winter, the Baita delle Stelle can be reached by single-seater chairlift in about twenty minutes. Dress warmly, as it can get chilly on the chairlift, which is open. The view is breathtaking. The staff, even though the place was quite crowded, were quick to serve us and always super friendly. Local food, including an excellent cold cuts and cheese platter.

01/03/2026: Excellent service, nice place, excellent veal with tuna sauce, excellent tartare, stratospheric, plin al burro no I'm sorry they didn't convince me, the pizza with Piedmontese ragù is good but if I can give you a tip, put all that parmesan on top I'm sorry but it makes everything too salty really excessive, I'm sorry.

22/02/2026: We went for lunch today to have a vegetable and olive-powdered focaccia pizza, very well-filled. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, filled focaccias, pizzas, and a few pasta dishes. The quality of the food was very good; we paid only €8.50 for this pizza, which was worth even more. It's a welcoming place, with quick service. Highly recommended.

14/12/2025: Drawn by the stellar reviews, we went to this restaurant. We booked about a week in advance, arrived, and for some reason we didn't quite understand, there was no table. They asked us to wait a few minutes to be seated—no problem, obviously. We waited, and after about 10 minutes, a young woman, who I assume is the manager, told us that we could either sit down immediately but have to leave the table quickly, or we could wait some more. Her tone was hasty and annoyed, not very polite. We decided to sit down and eat quickly. We picked up the menu. Unfortunately, one pasta dish was undercooked, and another had been cooking for about a week. The portions, however, were generous, so I couldn't eat the main course; I only tasted it, but it wasn't anything special and lacked flavor. We ate in record time and left. The place is large, but they have tons of tables packed together. Honestly, I don't feel like recommending it, but it might be better during less crowded periods, who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️

So many advantages and comforts: free beach and parking, clean and tidy rooms, a generous breakfast buffet, an excellent location for the beach and public transport, friendly and helpful staff, and if you don't want to stay on the beach, there's a pool and hot tub!

It's difficult to single out one dish or another because every dish, from the amuse bouche to dessert, offers something beautiful.

04/01/2026: Everything was excellent - food, service, location. If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say the lighting and the lack of a nice white tablecloth. Besides being delicious, it's also nice to eat something different from traditional Piedmontese dishes (not that those aren't good, on the contrary!), but kudos to the chef and owner for offering something innovative and exciting. 23/12/2025: The 3 stars are due to the excessively long wait for the dishes to arrive. There were 5 of us, and we all ordered the sliced ​​meat with potatoes, nothing else. Although the order was extremely easy, given that the dishes were the same and all cooked to the same standard, the wait for our order to be delivered to the table was far too long.

The service is impeccable—for example, all the cutlery is replaced after each course, something that's no longer the norm—and the staff is attentive, helpful, and always smiling. The menu is extensive and will satisfy those seeking Piedmontese—and Moncalieri—traditional dishes, with a menu dedicated to the famous "Trippa di Moncalieri" (Moncalieri Tripe)—as well as those who appreciate modern interpretations without going overboard. The wine list meets expectations and is fully in line with the culinary offerings, although perhaps a little overpriced. The dishes are beautifully presented, tastefully prepared, and the portions, while not abundant, are completely satisfying. It's not a cheap place, but it's adequate for the quality of the offerings. The restaurant is meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. The urban setting doesn't favor it compared to similarly priced options, quite the opposite... while the easy parking in Piazza del Mercato, just a few meters away, is a definite plus, except during periods when the city organizes events at the nearby PalaExpo.
