Everything was delicious, although for me, the dish I put first is pasta and beans, which they make during the week.

We had lunch today at Locanda del Gallo Storto. We called the day before to ask if there was room for four people and that one was vegan.
The immediate response was that no problem for the vegan because they would make arrangements.
We were welcomed by the owners with love and they were incredibly friendly.
The lady was very kind, cordial, and professional.
Her husband, the chef, was extremely kind. He prepared delicious and original dishes for my brother-in-law, who is vegan (because often in many restaurants they always serve the same things).
Kudos again to the chef because you can see he really loves his job. Excellent.
Everything was super good, fresh, and homemade, from appetizers to desserts, a 10 out of 10.
Plus, the welcome from the two owners, husband and wife, was truly wonderful. I felt at home and will definitely return.

During a day trip, we had lunch at this very welcoming restaurant. Impeccable service and excellent dishes worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. Everything is prepared with care and love, but above all, with great attention to the customer's needs. From appetizer to dessert, I give it a 10. You absolutely must try it. Finally, we had the privilege of having a wonderful chat with the owners... what can I say, pure passion! Well done, well done, well done!!!!

Excellent, incredible welcome. I'm vegan and they had no problems; in fact, I'd NEVER eaten so well vegan. Very authentic food, cooked to perfection. Everything was DELICIOUS, TASTY. The owners explained to us exactly how they cooked all the dishes. The chef, an 82-year-old man, cooked amazingly. The place was incredible, spotlessly clean, but the taste and aroma of the dishes trumped everything else. We finished with a SPECTACULAR pistachio parfait. Anyone who doesn't try it is missing out on these delicious dishes. CONGRATULATIONS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 10 out of 10
At the end of the meal, we stood up and applauded the BRAVISSIMO CHEF. THANK YOU, I WILL NEVER FORGET IT

At the recommendation of the owner of a winery we'd just visited (Colombera e Garella, thanks Guglielmo!),
we went for lunch at Gallo Storto. We were warmly welcomed into this beautiful vaulted-ceiling restaurant in the center of Masserano. Everything was delicious (a special mention for the torta verde and mixed antipasti) and the prices were fair. I highly recommend it. Thank you, and see you soon!

A wonderful little Italian restaurant tucked away in a small village. The food was absolutely excellent, authentic and full of flavor. What made the experience even more special was the warm and welcoming owner, who took great care of us and even taught us some new Italian words. They have a great selection of local wines such as Nebbiolo and Barbera d’Asti.

We had a very nice Sunday lunch at the Locanda – perfect antipasti (I Quattro Piemontesi), very good pasta and main course, and a fantastic bonet to finish. Complimenti!!! The best place to park is near the Chiesa di San Teonesto. Masserano is also worth a stroll – a very pretty little town.
