The ingredients are high-quality; perhaps not all sandwiches are well-balanced, and some ingredients overwhelm the flavor of the rest, but that certainly doesn't detract from the deliciousness. Wide selection, and a sociable place, given the atmosphere and music events. Given how popular it is, parking outside is hard to find.

Modern venue, friendly and professional staff and good choice of wines. I went for dinner during the week with friends and it was a fabulous experience. Do you want advice? 14/07/2025: The food is good, almost cheaply priced for the quality of it, and the location is great Due to the inclement weather we sat inside in a finely decorated room with frescoes on the ceiling, but they also somehow have a lovely and big courtyard (in the middle of the town, I'd never would've expected that) But what really sets this place apart from the five hundred other restaurants in Gavi is the service We got there dressed like hobos as we planned to go trekking before rain changed our plans They still welcomed us like we were the royal family (in shorts and a tye dye shirt) Our waiter helped us choosing the wine, nailed it well out of the park, and changed the already fine standard red glasses for large Bordeaux glasses more appropriate for our wine Never seen this kind of service for a 30ish € bottle The waiters were never hovering over us, yet somehow had the almost uncanny ability to show themselves whenever we needed them well before we turned around to call for them The timing of the courses was the best I've seen so far: usually the next dish would be on our table the exact moment I'd think "I'm ready for the next one" We took our sweet time eating so we were the last couple at the restaurant Instead of being stroppy with us (which would have been justified honestly) they took us for a tour of the place and their lovely cantina I really cannot recommend this place enough, well thought dishes, fresh, often homegrown ingredients, and a service that gives new nuances to the meaning of the word "waiter"

13/05/2025: I am back home in California remembering our visit from May 2024. I absolutely love Gavi and have been there twice in the past 3 years.We dined at Cantine Del Gavi celebrating my sons birthday and mothers day. It was such a memorable experience and I realized I forgot to do a review with all the traveling we did in Italy last year. The service was phenomenal, food was outstanding and perfect wine was recommended. The staff and experience provided made a lasting impression on my son his fiancé and I. What a gem in such a charming and beautiful village. It is a lovely and beautiful ristorante and the food incredible. Grazie to the staff for a lasting memory.

Un po' di attesa perché il locale è sempre strapieno ma quando mangi la pizza e/o la focaccia capisci il perché e tutto è perdonato 😊. Complimenti davvero : Umbria e Veneto ( origini regionali dei proprietari ) in val di Susa han fatto una meraviglia per il palato . Complimenti davvero .

The vegetarian options, including first courses and burgers, could be expanded to include appetizers and main courses, allowing you to explore their cuisine as well. A reliable destination for a tasty and carefully prepared lunch or dinner. Attentive and very friendly service, fair prices. Reservations are highly recommended. 03/07/2025: The place where I celebrated my wedding with my wife. The place offers a breathtaking view of the hills and vineyards of Asti, as well as a swimming pool surrounded by greenery. The menu is traditional but refined, offering a high-quality culinary experience. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend it both for a quality lunch/dinner and for an event such as a baptism or wedding.

26/07/2025: A small but well-kept and very cute place located in the arcade near Porta Palazzo. We tried the avocado toast and pancakes, and I must say it was all delicious, plentiful, and the service was super friendly and helpful. Plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with lactose intolerances. Bravo!

17/08/2025: In the heart of the Langhe, known as a wine and food treasure, lies Neive, less known than others like Alba, Asti, or La Morra, but nevertheless well worth a visit to this charming town. If you do, a great choice is Locanda Borgo Vecchio, where you can savor typical Piedmontese dishes and also some other original options, with a limited menu but with plenty of options. In fact, there's always a dish off the menu that's seasonal and is usually highly recommended. In my case, it was mushrooms and the tagliatelle with black truffle. It's advisable to leave room for traditional desserts with a little something extra, like the white chocolate mousse with red berries. Also worth noting is that they produce wine and grappa, perfect, especially in summer, to be enjoyed on their magnificent terrace, from which you can see the area's vineyards. A highly recommended place

16/08/2025: We visited this restaurant and had an overall very positive experience: the cuisine is meticulous, the dishes are well-prepared, and the bill was absolutely reasonable. The atmosphere is also pleasant and contributes to a pleasant evening. My only complaint concerns the reservation management: when I called, I specifically requested a table with a panoramic view, specifically one by the window, because we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. I was assured that all the tables had a beautiful view, so I trusted them. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the tables with a view were already taken, and we were assigned a table further away, from which we couldn't enjoy the sunset, which would have been truly special on such an occasion. I reported this when I received the bill, but was told that my request hadn't been noted. A shame, because with a little more attention to this detail, the evening would have been perfect. Despite this, it's still a restaurant I recommend for the quality of the food, the location, and the good value.

26/07/2025: I WANTED TO GIVE IT A SECOND CHANCE BUT I WAS NOT SATISFIED AGAIN. THE FOOD IN MY OPINION WAS NOT EXCELLENT...THE FIRST TIME I TRIED GLUTEN-FREE PASTA AND IT WAS VERY SALTY...WHILE YESTERDAY EVENING I TRIED VENERE RICE WITH AVAGADO TOMATOES AND PRAWNS COMBINED WITH SALAD AND ARUGULA, A COMBINATION THAT WAS NOT GOOD TO THE PALATE. MY CHILD'S PASTA WITH PESTO FLOATED WITH TOO MUCH OIL WHILE MY HUSBAND'S PIZZA WAS GOOD, PRICE 60 EUROS WAS TOO MUCH IN MY OPINION....CHILDREN'S AREA NEEDS A RENOVATION, NOT CLEAN....FRIENDLY STAFF
