10/06/2025: Nos sentamos fuera con una vista encantadora de la pequeña plaza relativamente tranquila y nos recibieron amablemente. El menú siguió una estructura italiana estándar. Pedí bacalao con trufas negras; mi esposa tenía estofado de ternera. Mientras esperábamos recibimos una sabrosa diversión - bolsa de verduras frescas cigüeñas; en realidad muy sabroso. También una selección excepcional de 3 estilos de pan en casa. Los principales eran pequeños, bien presentados y merecedores de las mejores notas. Para los dulces teníamos fresas frescas con crema y merengue. Perfecto. Barolando ofrece una selección de vinos locales por copa. Elegí el Chardonnay y estaba contento con la elección.

08/06/2025: Tanto fumo e niente arrosto! Ordinato 1 antipasto 1 primo e 1 calice di dolcetto pagato € 49 a testa…siamo usciti con la fame. Mai visto porzioni così misere Follia!!!

20/04/2025: Easter lunch, very good cuisine. Excellent cheeses with apples, excellent toma fondue. Warm and welcoming place, the town is also beautiful.

01/06/2025: Like other reviews. I found the service not great, as they tend to deal with the locals first. Music was far too loud to ask about what slices they had. My slice was just okay. Very greasy and really solid( focaccia base). Fresh made whole pizzas did look good though

13/06/2025: For the umpteenth time we tried to go and eat at this place but, despite having had the reservation written on the agenda at the entrance, we were treated VERY BADLY by the guy who called himself a host for 25 years. A RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL RUDE MAN OF THOSE WHO TRUST HIS PLACE AND ITS ORGANIZATION. The icing on the cake was finding another person treated the same way in the adjacent square! I can't judge the chef's work, but the owner should leave some of his huge ego at home and take a bath of humility. We very willingly spent our money elsewhere! I will NEVER try to eat at this place AGAIN. I add, to respond to the very polite host of infinite experience, that the term "Ciccio" can be used with all his friends and relatives who, perhaps, are used to a certain type of education. "Stars are born from chance" 🤣 is only equal to: "flowers are born from manure". We also have a great poet. By the way! I didn't criticize the cook at all, on the contrary! Evidently the Italian language is unknown to the great poet/innkeeper. The "Owner's Response" emphasized the education of the aforementioned.

13/06/2025: A wonderful, authentic restaurant with delicious dishes. We went there two days in a row and it was excellent.

08/06/2025: We were recently at Vineria Derthona and the experience was truly excellent. We started with a selection of really well-curated appetizers: rabbit tuna, anchovies with butter, stuffed pepper and a delicate and tasty veal with tuna sauce. For the first course, we tried the agnolotti with Derthona sauce, a rich and tasty dish that literally won us over. The portions were so generous that we couldn't get to the second course! The wine list is extensive and well-selected, with interesting local proposals. For this occasion we chose a Barbera by Walter Massa, which turned out to be a perfect choice to accompany the meal. A round of applause also goes to the owner: extremely helpful, competent and passionate, he was able to guide us with enthusiasm both in the choice of dishes and wine. A place that combines tradition, quality and hospitality. We will definitely be back!

01/06/2025: Probabilmente abbiamo sbagliato giorno,ma cortesia,qualità e attenzione sono state ben lontane.dalle aspettative...Va bene l attesa di oltre 1 ora...nostra scelta,ma una volta seduti notiamo la lentezza del servizio, ci è stato chiesto se volevamo del pane, ho detto di sì per il bambino,ci sono dati due pezzi,portati con le mani...non cerco eleganza alla grangia ma igiene si!!!!zero attenzioni per la mia richiesta di priorità 'per servire prima il pranzo al bambino,vista l ora e solo per lui...ma mi è stato risposto che le tre polente sarebbero state infornate insieme...perché erano sicuramente le uniche della giornata,no???!non una scusa o un parola per la lentezza del servizio,nulla....e a volte basta davvero poco per tamponare una situazione...ma si sa...conta solo il business e w i grandi numeri!!!!se resti soddisfatto o meno non importa a nessuno.... allora w un semplice un panino nel prato!!!!lo sconsiglio vivamente,per tutto!!!!!!e tenetevi il vostro pessimo servizio e ristorante con i grandi numeri e poca qualità!!!!posto orrendo!!!!!!!

01/06/2025: Il ristorante é sempre carino, ci torniamo volentieri, per il posto e gli ottimi piatti ma....con il caldo di questi giorni i condizionatori devono funzionare o meglio...bisogna imparare ad usarli.

Excellent selection of wines and spirits. The staff is attentive and pleasant. The outdoor area is fabulous! Fina and Leo are two superstars!

02/06/2025: Frequentiamo la Trattoria Del Bivio da quasi 20 anni e ogni volta è sempre una piacevole sorpresa. La cucina di Massimo è incredibile, i suoi piatti non deludono mai, la grande attenzione nella scelta delle materie prime, la tecnica e lo lo studio dietro ogni piatto, portano la clientela in un viaggio gourmet stellare. Nonostante il menù raffinato e l'ambiente elegante, Selia, la proprietaria, ti fa sentire come a casa, guidandoti in questa incredibile avventura enogastronomica, con sapienza e professionalità. Dopo la cena abbiamo pernottato in una bella stanza in stile Langa con una fantastica vista sulle colline, di fronte alla piscina interna riscaldata. Abbiamo concluso questo fantastico weekend con una lauta colazione interamente preparata dalla cucina esaltando prodotti del territorio, come la crema di nocciole, pane e brioches di loro produzione, uova strapazzate e ogni ben di Dio si possa immaginare. Consiglio a chiunque di provare quest'esperienza. Noi come sempre torneremo! Grazie di cuore Selia e Massimo!

11/05/2025: Vedendo le recensioni e le foto invitanti abbiamo deciso di venire qui e di passar la notte in una delle splendide camere per goderci la cena degustando un buon vino senza pensieri di dover guidare poi.. Il ristorante offre una selezione di piatti molto ricercata e l'esperienza e la cordialità della proprietaria fanno da cornice alla serata.. Gentilissima dall accoglienza ai saluti finali.. assolutamente consigliato sia come ristorante che per soggiornarvi..

28/05/2025: The Lautier restaurant in Chieri presents itself with an excellent, elegant location and excellent service. Unfortunately, the cuisine (perhaps due to the change of brigade?) does not live up to expectations, especially in relation to the overall cost of €120 for two people (2 starters - 2 main courses and two desserts, including two glasses of wine). Starters The round was disappointing due to the rubbery consistency of the meat, which did not melt in the mouth, compromising the taste experience. The accompanying sauce, although good, was not well balanced compared to the quantity of meat. The asparagus soufflé, on the other hand, proved to be good in flavor, but its presentation was penalized by a cold serving dish, which affected its appreciation. Second courses The veal cheek appeared to be fairly cooked, but overall insipid and not very tasty. The side dish of potatoes, although limited to "five counted", was well prepared. The picanha unfortunately replicated the problem of the girello, presenting a very rubbery consistency. Desserts The desserts were a positive note: both the cheesecake and the chocolate cake were very good. A suggestion to further improve the cake would be to serve it at least warm, rather than cold from the refrigerator, to better enhance its qualities. Service and Bill The service was exceptional and very polite, a real strong point of the restaurant. However, for an expense of €120 for two people, the general quality of the cuisine does not justify the rates applied, resulting insufficient compared to the cost. In summary, the Lautier offers a pleasant experience in terms of environment and service, but requires a significant improvement in the culinary proposal to align with its price positioning.
