Inside the restaurant, there's a display of about a hundred different cheeses that seems like a shrine. Diners are spoiled for choice. We like to give positive feedback on places that operate with simplicity and professionalism while maintaining fair prices. If you're in Saluzzo, perhaps to see a beautiful exhibition like the one featuring Scianna's photographs, this place is worth considering.

02/11/2025: I had the opportunity to dine while in the area for work. Welcoming staff and a comfortable, refined atmosphere. The dishes selected deserve a 5-star rating! My only complaint is that I would have preferred to dine in a cooler setting.

28/09/2025: We stopped for lunch even though it was already past 2:30 PM, having just returned from a long walk in the nearby woods. The ground-floor dining room is small but tastefully decorated with attention to detail. While we waited for our dishes, we were brought a basket of bread (baked in-house with stone-ground flour) and focaccia, both delicious, served with salted butter. The service was perfect, with great attention to detail, and the dishes we sampled were truly delicious (mixed Piedmontese appetizers, meat-filled plin, tagliolini with sausage ragù, and sliced ​​steak). The sliced ​​steak was accompanied by a beautiful French knife. Before leaving, we also had the opportunity to browse the small but well-stocked cellar. Adjacent to the dining room is a delightful covered terrace with a few tables, and it would have been even nicer to have lunch outside, given the beautiful day. The quality/price ratio is definitely fair.

25/10/2025: I was given a birthday voucher for a dinner with my wife. For various reasons, I wasn't able to use it within six months, especially because the dates they offered for the reservation didn't fit our family's needs. When I requested a reservation a few months later, they told me the voucher had expired. In my opinion, this wasn't proper or courteous customer service.

07/10/2025: With Mattia's cooking and Denise's table service, it's always a pleasant stop at the agriturismo. Of the seven appetizers, three first courses, and four second courses, all very good, I want to highlight: tomino with chestnut honey, a masterpiece of flavors!! Buckwheat Maltagliati with leek sauce, delicate and flavorful, typical of the traditional Bregaglia cuisine! Roast beef, the quality of the meat is evident!! What can I say about the truly exquisite local cheeses and the semifreddo with grappa for dessert? In short, there's no other place like this agriturismo's cuisine!

14/06/2025: After about 20 years since my last visit to the restaurant, now Agriturismo Mongioie, I can say that I have had another very pleasant experience. A place kept with care, preserving the appearance and details of the past and revisited today by the new young management. Traditional and appetizing cuisine, just the right quantities, flavors that we will remember. Excellent snails, lavender strudel much appreciated. A hearty meal at competitive prices. Excellent dining room service. If possible we will return. A group of friends Nurses and Oss of the Emergency Room of Sanremo.

06/10/2025: Lunch in an alleyway in Orta, away from tourists. Very good wines; good food. We paid €60 for two very good glasses of wine, an excellent mixed platter, and bruschettas. Quiet and charming.

05/10/2025: Responding rudely and annoyedly to a simple request for availability (after standing in silence for 15 minutes without disturbing anyone or even asking) is part of evaluating a venue. I understand the chaos and the crowded place, but a lack of courtesy still leads to customers being turned away. It's a shame, it wouldn't take much...lucky them for being rude and having a full place.
