11/01/2025: I have known this place for many years. It's always a pleasure to come back for the welcome and the always excellent and delicious food.

21/02/2025: Excellent location, I dined in this place three times, the quality of the food and the seasoning of the pizzas is remarkable even if as soon as it cools down it loses its initial palatability. This evening, however, I have to review a negative note due to the large presence of waiters who constantly circle around you, preventing you from having a bit of privacy. We spent the two hours of the shift (also absurd) with crazy anxiety waiting for the fateful hour by which we had to leave the table. Sin.

31/12/2024: On the recommendation of friends we went to this pub. Great place and really nice place. You can breathe the legendary atmosphere of the 80s! The very kind owner hosted our entire group, even anticipating the opening time! Delicious sandwiches and top beers. Stop even just for a beer if you pass through Stresa.

06/01/2025: Overall we ate well. However, we would have liked to try the white truffle but when ordering we were informed that it was not available despite both the menu displayed outside the restaurant (on the pedestal that allows you to consult the dishes before entering) and the menu brought to the table with the dishes with the white truffles were present and no one warned us that they were not available until the moment of ordering. I believe that if a restaurant in Alba does not have white truffles (displayed on the menu) it should warn a customer in advance who is most likely sitting at one of its tables to try it.

10/02/2025: Now my go-to restaurant. The pizza is very good both in terms of dough and cooking. Fish always good, fresh and well prepared. I recommend the seafood trio, an excellent and complete starter. Excellent prices for the quality and quantity served. I go back whenever I can

28/11/2024: Location and high level service. The foods are highly sought after and of an indescribable quality that justifies an above average but still acceptable price. If you're looking for cheap food, don't come here. The tasting menus are highly recommended and are still filling. I would happily stay here again

18/01/2025: Posticino piccolo e accogliente, perfetto per un pranzo 9 una cena genuina e tipica piemontese. Materia prima davvero di qualità, servizio eccellente e tocco dello chef davvero speciale! Plin ai 3 arrosti super saporiti, risotto alle ortiche con abbinamenti divini, vitello tonnato con la salsa artigianale, e tonno di coniglio troppo buono! Il tutto a un prezzo super...Torneremo!

24/12/2024: Beautiful place in the middle of the Novara countryside, where you eat well and drink equally well. Chosen some time ago by our company for Christmas lunch, it has become our point of reference. Service a little slow but the staff is always friendly and nice. Must try.

08/12/2024: kindness does not belong to this place...we booked with great difficulty, waiting more than 40 minutes and then other people were seated in front of us without a reservation but...relatives of a waitress who without even a bit of tact he flaunted it to the 4 winds...no comment!!!! the food: more than normal. the room with the lovely fireplace although we will certainly not return. Sin.

This premise is to say that at the Locanda dell'Orso 🐻 there is no need for this attention, everyone was wonderful in their ways, super kind but not forced ways, in short, sincerity in person! ❤️ Sincere like their cuisine, simple but of great quality! We chose the mixed fried food you see in the photo, was it good? No! 26/02/2025: It represents exactly the places I love. A simple and well-kept tavern. A well-kept cellar with excellent wines, very kind staff, an equally kind but above all very good chef. We had lunch with traditional Piedmontese dishes, all freshly made and handmade, with fresh ingredients. The bill was in line with the tradition of Italian taverns that are so envied throughout the world.
