22/07/2025: Very nice place, well preserved, in the highest part of the town of Lu M.to which was a pleasant surprise. I came here for the first time on a hot Saturday evening at the end of June: place full of customers, the staff courteous and very kind a bit in crisis between the crowding and the heat. We were lucky enough to get a table on the covered outdoor terrace from where we could watch a beautiful sunset and enjoy a beautiful view while staying cool. Traditional Piedmontese dishes and not very good. Excellent value for money. To try

30/07/2025: Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Our server, Ismail, provided excellent food, drink, and dessert recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. Five stars all around! Highly recommend!

29/07/2025: Gianni is the boss and his brother Roberto is the Chef. Great menu and great location. It was my favourite place for lunch during my years in Italy.

Our 9-year-old discovered the Osteria online, and after reading the reviews, we decided it was a must-visit during our stay in Sestriere (just a 15-minute drive away). We couldn’t be happier with our child’s choice—it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, Roberto, the owner, welcomed us warmly and offered us an aperitif while our table was being prepared (a short 5-minute wait). When we entered the dining room, we were met with a beautifully intimate setting lit by candlelight, accompanied by wonderful background music that added to the cozy and elegant ambiance —absolutely charming. The food was plentiful and exceptional, and the service struck the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, and friendliness. Every detail made us feel cared for and made the evening truly special. We wholeheartedly recommend this place—100%! Do yourself a favour and don’t miss this gem during your visit. 18/07/2025: Une lieu coup de cœur du petit village de San Giorgio Scarampi. A peine le porche franchi, vous découvrez une terrasse arborée et panoramique. L'accueil y est très sympathique, les mets délicieux et les attestations très agréables, à savoir : petite macédoine en entrée, Moscato et divers biscuits accompagnent le café. Soirée très agréable que je recommande.

12/07/2025: Peace and tranquility among the hills. Yesterday I had lunch with my family on the tree-lined patio of this restaurant in San Giorgio Scarampi, a small, hilltop village with very few residents. The view is enchanting, and the restaurant offers a wide selection of local wines and delicious dishes featuring local produce. The service and customer care are impeccable, and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. Vegetarian options are available, and pets are welcome.

11/07/2025: Spectacular place! Everything was excellent, a round of applause and a 10 out of 10 for the impeccably prepared fried fish. We'll definitely be back.

25/06/2025: Truly a nice place for an aperitif and even just for breakfast. Very nice and well-kept location, shame not to have an extra room! Only flaw at least in the summer.... Air conditioning!!! Unfortunately with these temperatures especially drinking something is very welcome!! 😄

22/06/2025: Nascosto in una vietta storica di Nizza. In un locale che una volta vendeva le colorite cocorite che hanno accompagnato la mia infanzia. La Taverna Margherita è un piccolo angolo fatato dove il cibo tipico piemontese diventa magia. Assolutamente da provare

10/08/2025: Very good family restaurant! We ordered the dishes labeled "traditional" and "homemade." They were excellent, and you can tell they're homemade with fresh ingredients. The service is very good, and the waiters are friendly. The atmosphere is great and calm (not too noisy to hear each other speak). I recommend it 100%!

16/07/2025: A very pretty Palazzo, as Italy knows how to reserve them for us, with this discreet authenticity, strong with a flawless, efficient and so friendly service. Very comfortable, luxurious junior suite, and impeccably maintained. In the quiet of the small town of Fossano, the place opens up to multiple opportunities to explore the neighboring vineyards, hiking, by electric bike or Vespa, do not hesitate to ask for a guide at the reception. Breakfast is most pleasant, served in the patio in season where you can also have lunch or dinner, but book in advance, the black puddings come willingly for coffee, the Italian lunch break, afternoon tea, aperitif, at any moment, it comes and goes, and yes, it is good!

10/06/2025: Update 2025: I can only confirm our impression. Wonderful hotel! We had an unforgettable weekend and would love to come back. The hotel is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our room facing the inner courtyard was very quiet, everything was perfectly clean, and there was a free minibar... The breakfast is very plentiful, and the egg dishes are freshly prepared (they were also delicious). The bar is perfect for an aperitif (the small snacks are a taste of what the restaurant has to offer). The highlight for us was the restaurant! Absolutely top-notch – with every dish. The price/performance ratio is more than outstanding, and the friendly service in every area is remarkable. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, but there is plenty of space for loading and unloading, and there's a free parking garage just a few meters away. (Thanks to the team for the breadsticks, I really appreciated them)

13/07/2025: We went for a lunch in this nice place in Acqui Terme. Impeccable service, very friendly. Superb food and the wine that was suggested went very well with all the courses. Wonderful experience and when we will be back in the Piemonte, we will most certainly visit this place again.

12/07/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Il Moncalvo Restaurant, located in the charming loggia of a historic 16th-century building in Acqui Terme. The location is simply enchanting: an elegant and timeless atmosphere that offers an immersive experience, perfectly balanced between history and refinement. We ordered two appetizers and two fish main courses: each dish was a pleasant discovery. The presentation was meticulous, almost artistic, and the flavor combinations were original and unexpected, a sign of careful, creative cuisine that respects the ingredients. The service made the evening even more enjoyable: the manager was friendly and helpful. Special praise also goes to the waitress, who was charming, affable, and attentive, always attentive but never intrusive. In short, Il Moncalvo proved to be a delightful discovery: a restaurant that combines quality cuisine, welcoming service, and a unique architectural setting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a high-end dining experience in Acqui Terme. It feels like we're overlooking the fact that our big dog Byron was also chocolate and very welcome. --
