I came back because I had heard about the new management of the place, and I did very well, the food was delicious, the staff was super helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Excellent experience, we went in out of curiosity about the new management and it was worth it, very good food, not a very extensive menu but every dish is of quality, courteous and helpful staff, I will definitely be back

The homemade pasta is delicious, and the various toppings enhance its flavor. The meat, cured meat, and vegetable main courses are plentiful and delicious. The service is friendly and fast, and the beers are excellent; you'll want to try them all. The prices are reasonable; it's rare to find a place where the quality/price ratio is so fair. Top-notch bands perform on Friday and Saturday nights; reservations are almost a must if you want to get a seat. It's definitely worth the effort.

We had lunch during a visit to a pottery market near Palazzo Te. We tried it nearby, tempted by the name (craving tortelli!)... the service was nice and friendly, and the tortelli were good, but a little small, unlike the fried bites we had as an appetizer, which were over the top but still good. I expected the atmosphere to be different... it seemed like a place for groups of people at a lakeside trattoria (wooden benches and beer posters), but overall the kindness of the owners made us feel at home :-) so for me that makes up for it all.

Near the stadium, we find this pub/restaurant for true Mantua fans. The atmosphere is casual and incredibly welcoming, perfect for a quiet evening with friends or family. You'll immediately feel at home. The cuisine is truly excellent, with well-prepared and flavorful traditional Mantua dishes. But the real highlight for me was the gratin: a dish I could eat morning, afternoon, and evening without getting tired of! Truly irresistible! The quality-price ratio is also excellent, and the service is friendly. Highly recommended if you're in Mantua and want to eat well in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.

Pumpkin and sausage macaroni: unfortunately drowned in cream... If instead of drowning in cream, they had been in pumpkin cream, it would have been a superb dish. Thus, the cream dominates and overpowers the flavors. Tortelli & Fried Food: I would have preferred to have them plain with butter and sage, as that would have masked the tortello's deliciousness a bit, but overall, an excellent dish. Coffee: solid coffee grounds, a sign of a coffee machine that hasn't been kept clean.

Everything good and plentiful, fast, friendly, honest.

I only took a photo of the dish before devouring it 🤣 what can I say, the tortelli are excellent, even the dessert is exquisite... you can stop for an aperitif or to eat, the atmosphere is welcoming as is the staff, kind and who immediately puts you at ease... I will definitely return
