15/07/2025: A very intimate and elegant restaurant just steps from Cremona Cathedral. A simple menu with a few traditional Cremonese dishes. The cured meats on the platter are delicious, paired with an excellent giardiniera salad; the Cremonese marubini (stuffed pasta) are a must-try; the nougat parfait is also excellent. The staff is quick and attentive. The price is reasonable.

03/07/2025: A nice restaurant in the heart of Cremona. The food was very fine, with some Michelin standards dishes too. The service and hospitality can be improved. At the end, you can buy some great restaurant sauces as well.

The cuisine is different from that of restaurants that offer typical dishes of the Cremonese tradition which is a bit repetitive; here the dishes, although linked to tradition, offer very interesting and tasty variations. Truly an experience to do!

19/07/2025: Premetto che l'anno scorso abbiamo fatto un pranzo domenicale e avevano fatto entrare la mia cagnolina breton, questa volta,telefono per cena domenica sera,la signorina NON mi dice che nel frattempo ha cambiato idea e che i cani non sono più ammessi. Non solo, al nostro arrivo mi dice che io avrei dovuto avvisare al momento della prenotazione che avevo un cane! In questo agriturismo ci sono animali, loro stessi hanno un bellissimo Labrador ma vi sembra normale vietare l'accesso ai cani???? Risultato, ci hanno impedito l'accesso! Quindi se avete un cane non prenotate qui.

17/07/2025: I returned today with friends, and as always, it was a wonderful experience. The place is welcoming and authentic, nestled in the countryside yet just a stone's throw from Crema. We started with delicious appetizers: the noble Cremasco salami, flavorful and authentic, and the inevitable salva con le tighe, prepared according to tradition. But the real heartbreaker was their Cremasco tortello, simply incredible, with a perfect balance of flavor and texture. The best I've ever tasted. For our main course, we chose a guinea fowl with olives that left us speechless: tender, fragrant, and perfectly flavorful. A dish that tastes of home and celebration. A special thanks goes to the owner, Annamaria, a passionate and generous hostess, and to her daughter, Elisa, gracious and attentive to every detail. They're what makes this place so special: a truly heartfelt farmhouse. 💕 And then there's "Franco," the 15-day-old lamb, lovingly bottle-fed. A tender scene that enchanted everyone.

16/08/2025: The review I'm about to write isn't just about my last visit last night, but rather about all the times I've come for dinner or aperitifs with friends/partners/relatives. First of all, I must emphasize the professionalism of the entire staff, who greet you with a smile upon arrival and guide you to your table. Second: the location. Spectacular, it's true that it's not the only one of its kind (surrounded by an orchard/vineyard), but the atmosphere here is certainly remarkable, and it's also thanks to the people who work there. Third: the food. In the dozen or so times I've been here (including during Easter), I've never eaten anything that made me say anything less than "very good." Lately, they've also organized an outdoor cinema, and I find it magical. Professionals like this deserve recognition for the passion they put into their work. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: I heard it has changed ownership, but being in Cremona and living around the corner, l had to see if it stands up to its previous reputation. We actually came here twice in two weeks, and my daughter picked up takeaway as well. We certainly did not have to wait long for our order, and the service was good. The pizzas are still huge and full of flavour, and the wine is extremely good. The restaurant is small, with plenty of elbow room, but you would not leave it too late to enter. I 'm not sure if you can book, but since being Australians, we were there always early. Great choice if in Cremona and want an authentic Italian pizza. Love it ❤️

19/07/2025: A truly pleasant restaurant, with friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices. We ordered two pizzas, both very good, along with fries and a glass of wine and water for €30. The restaurant has two outdoor areas and one indoor. Taking advantage of the summer temperatures, we opted for the outdoor seating and had a great time. It should be noted that despite practically all the tables in the restaurant being full, we still received our order in more than acceptable time. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again and highly recommend it.

08/08/2025: A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent burger, just the right amount and excellent value. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I would have preferred the classic sesame bun, but it's a matter of personal preference and choice. Their "house" sauce was amazing; I don't remember if it contained anchovies or sardines, but it had that extra kick you don't get with other sauces. The service was polite, courteous, and very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

01/05/2025: As a photographer I had the pleasure of working during an event at the Villa del Lago Restaurant: truly spectacular location! The outdoor spaces are ideal for photo shoots thanks to the natural light and the well-kept context. The interiors also offer excellent conditions for elegant and evocative shots. The staff were super helpful and professional, contributing to a flawless event. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a scenic and well-managed location for weddings or ceremonies.
